Thank you. Stop by one of our meetings and meet some of the guys. The show is a lot of work by a bunch of volunteers and we get great reviews. It’s a labor of love for old trucks. Thanks again!
I'm so bummed because you missed my husband and special needs sons little IH dump truck project, they finally were able to take to a show after years of working on it lol. I understand though. It's no match for all the beautiful big semi-trucks that are much more popular. The kinds like my husband's boss's blue trucks at 9:33. It was sitting right next to them and easy to see how it got lost in the group lol! Any way, it was a beautiful day with perfect weather this year! And Thank God they moved the show to the fairgrounds instead of that rocky dust pit "Skylands" they used to have it at! Thank you for the video! Great job! We forgot our camera, and so happy you posted this. 👍
I like those cabovers. They bring back good o memories here in the USA. At first I didn't know why most of them disappeared & then I've learned it was because the length & weight limits were increased which made them no longer necessities. I remember I use to see them on the roads all the time back in the 1980s & down. Good times.
they also had a tendency to kill the driver in front end accidents. the cab would come flying off of the latches and smash it face first into the ground. my grandfather always called them "widowmakers"
That one truck. Wow. I saw it on youtube a few years ago. Nice I got to see the whole thing in one shot. It would probably look almost like it did years ago if he washed and polished it. There's a lot of fuel tank there.
Trk was in a magazine back late 70s early 80s was called I think bad bull I think v12 detriot 13 spd it was a wow factor trk hood cabover I hope it gets brought back to its glory
It's a shame to see what the Longhorn truck looks now.I remember seeing this truck at a show in the Philly area back in the 80's.When it rolled in everyone just stopped to look. Now anybody at this show who remembered this truck thought what the hell happened.Anyone who wants to see what it looked like back in the day go to (THE GOLDEN AGE OF TRUCKING)TH-cam channel.Video is titled Dr.Frankensteins truck.
I remember seeing that GMC concoction in magazines back in the mid 80”s. It was ugly then, and it’s ugly now. Human eyes are not to ever see things like this.
All beautiful trucks but for the Longhorn, which was the ugliest of them all. Despite the size of the cab, somebody slaps a smaller GMC hood on there. At least put a Peterbilt hood on so that scale of the hood matches the cabover.

That Frankenstein tractor is wild!

That’s two GMC’s together, and some fabricobbling to boot!
Love it!
And a Screaming Detroit under the right foot pedal!
My Dad was a diehard GMC/Detroit Man back in the 60s-70s. But I think that GMC/??? truck made him roll over in his grave lol!
I think that truck was featured in overdrive magazine
@@jamesfarley3006 It was fun seeing it because I had never seen anything like it before.
I remember seeing “Long Horn” about 30 years ago at Englishtown NJ. Back then it had a different nose and those tall air scoops.
Thanks for the content , good to see people other than myself obsessed with old rrucks
Thanks for watching!
Haha back in the 80s I used to see a cabover conventional on I75 in Florida. I saw him quite a bit back then. Funny
Poor Maximum Overdrive/ Longhorn, this jewel was a show truck back in the 80’s, hope they rebuild it.

Ha!! I remember seeing that long horn truck on the road in the early 80s.
I forgot all about it, until just now!

Indeed, it's a thing of beauty.
With ample diesel capacity too.

At 6:25. If Dr. Frankenstein built a truck.
Good to see people knowing how to spend their money
Good video, I bet all of us would have watched a video of that cabover with a hood on it. You can't tease us with a unicorn like that.
Wow, all a lot of rigs, well done!

I have seen plenty of photos of this truck on the web but figured it was long gone. I couldn't believe it when it rolled in.
@@Dailydieseldose315 What name/info did you put in the search to find the photos?Would like to see more. Also where and when is this show held. Thanks
I dont see the video on his channel?
@@brentfabian174 I finally got a chance to check his channel out.The video I mentioned must have been taken off his postings.
Thanks for posting
3.14. Stop holding those Trucks up with your paperwork! haha. Made me feel young again for a time. how cool is this.
Mack show?
Look at the rolling muse
I really like the look of that truck to me it seems that the driver is not bankrupt and not hurting for money it is a work truck I like that
Look back might been 10-4 magazine
Look it’s Frankenstein Semi truck and it’s a Detroit Diesel engine mostly important to me
Looked like a nice turnout!
What a turn out!
I was blown away. I can't wait for next year.
OMG it's not a clickbait thumbnail!

That weird looking GMC I saw that truck several times on the interstate when I started driving in 1977
Very nice
nice video.would have been nicer if you had walked up and down the rows of trucks.

It’s too bad that anything that runs Jersey roads gets beat to hell.
Creepy truck starts at 6:23
