  • We always look forward to this amazing event hosted by our friends at the SoCal chapter of the American Truck Historical Society! It's nice to see so many vintage commercial vehicles, big rigs, fire trucks, and military vehicles participating in this event over the years.       All the Crowns were cruising at the Show & Go in Riverside, which was being held the same day as the truck show this year

    The tractors with the long bed pulling a trailer with pivoting or front steer axel, what are they designed to carry? I haven’t seen anything like it in the Midwest or North East or South East.

      Those are truck & trailer combos that were common on the west coast up until the 80s or so. The flatbed ones are usually designed to haul hay. Today, that truck and trailer setup is almost exclusively used for tanker trucks on the west coast.
