Just got mine, not on yet. Running trimmertrap on a 48 now works good but dealer recommended this. Cost way more : ( Notice a gap at the back of the door? Thanks for the info.
I installed the QuikChute on the FW15 2 weeks after you did. Love it ❤️ I've got the advanced shoot blocker on the ProStance. It's nice but I like the QuikChute far better👊🏼🧔🇺🇸
Handy guy, will I be able to use an accelerator grass catcher with the quick chute? So the bracket for the accelerator catcher would have to co exist with the quick shoot bracket at the same time. This is very important to me. For a ferris z3 52 inch stander. Thanks for all the vids, Jim.
Handy guy that would be wonderful how a grass catcher could coexist with the quick chutes have u done it yet? I was under the impression that was impossible
HandyGuy 2016 thanks. That’s good to know. I prefer to mulch, but I’d like to be able to pull a lever and have the chute blocker out of the way if need be. I wonder if the quick chute can be combined with the mulch kit?
Good job. I love the quick chutes, I have them on all three of my scags. They are a whole Lot better than the cumbersome factory ones. I noticed one thing that stood out that with the one u installed on your Ferris it did not have a supporting bar that had to be attached underneath the battery. Is that the way of all the recent quick chutes or does it vary by model. I like that a whole lot better than the ones I have, lower profile and everything.
I just got mine z2 52" ferris, when I line it up, there's about a quarter inch gap along the back top edge where it curves back. The rest is tight. Wondering how tight yours fit and if it was consistent all the way along? I imagine it should be, but I can't really tell from the camera angle.
@@HandyGuy2016 I'll try that tomorrow. looks like I may have to bend it "out" and then slide the whole unit forward on the deck. I just didn't want to start manipulating things right out of the gate. I've never had a chute blocker before :) I figure it's better to ask those who have. Nice video BTW, thanks for posting. Helped me decide when buying too.
Gd day!! Can you use this quikshute with a accelerator catcher.Thankyou for your time.Louis
Yes
Is the qwikchute still your preferred blocker?
Definitely! Still running the original one on both of my Z3X mowers with over 800 hours now.
Do you get blowback at top of blocker when it’s shut? Throws grass on your deck when closed etc?
No but I have it adjusted pretty tight to the deck.
How do you like that chute blocker did you install one on the 52
Yes I did, and I highly recommend it. It's the best chute block I have tried so far.
Just installed mine on a 61in Ferris 2100. Your vid helped a lot. Basically same installation even though different models. Good work man.
Thank you 😊
How do you like the quikchute on your Z3X ? looking into getting one I have two other brands and im not happy. Thanks
I like the Qwuickchute, no complaints. Make sure you get the longer handle.
Does the actual chute itself come assembled??
Mostly, I only had to attach the handle.
Nice video 👌💯
Helped me alot.
Thank you!
I wonder if this kit would work on the FW15?
Quick Chute is making a kit specifically for the FW 15
@@HandyGuy2016 That's awesome! I will definitely check them out.

They sent me the wrong size, I replaced it later.

Awesome 😎
Grass flap with cable. So you dont have to worry about letting go of mower controls.
I don't want to deal with replacing cables when they break
thanks for the video, i think it would be a good idea to use some threadlocker on all the nuts and bolts.

I'm pretty sure, and I am doing a video on installing the Rackem Grass Catcher which is very similar. It coexists wonderfully.

@@HandyGuy2016is there a video of this? I was recently told by QC that it is not possible.
Where did you get the chute blocker and what are the model numbers?
I ordered them on Amazon.com
Thanks for the reply. I had checked Amazon but I couldn't find them for the z3 and 2.
Looks factory. Well built from the looks of it. How has it held up since the install ?
Excellent! 600+ hours with no issues so far.
How well does this mulch without mulching baffles? Any clumping or windrows?
The chute block is just meant to control clippings, it doesn't work like a mulch kit without baffles and mulch blades.
I have heard from others that the mulch kits for these work amazing, but I have not tried them yet.

@@rogermurph101 I have wondered the same, may have to find out.
interesting ocdc. looks like the handle needs to be a little longer, though.
I'm going to see if they have a longer one, or an extension, but it does work really well.
They offer a longer handle when I just ordered one.
Do u notice any extra clumping with the extra hardware under the deck?
Only on the 52". I took the baffle off and that helped a lot.

Must be the newest version, I don't have any of the previous version. I definitely prefer the Quick Chute over the Advanced Chute System.
@@HandyGuy2016 yup the advanced chute sux compared to Quik

Mine is, but you can bend the end to adjust it tighter.

Installed yesterday and mowed last night. Slight bend was all it took, really easy to install and works great.
@@bkcracker Awesome!
Got to love qwikchute! I believe they do have longer handles by the way 😝
👍
