Congratulations on the video. One question... Speakers that have frequency cuts made actively by an audio processor (DSP) should not use physical crossovers, correct? In other words, in these cases I “never” use physical crossovers, correct?

That is correct. This is a crucial part of making sure your DSP settings are configured properly for your speaker setup. When using an active DSP processor/amplifier on all speaker channels any physical crossovers would be removed.

Researching the topic I saw that a few installers still maintain the physical crossover even when the speaker is connected to a DSP. In other words, the speaker's frequency cutting is being done actively/digitally through an audio processor (DSP), but the installer still chooses to install the physical crossover. Is this completely wrong and should be avoided? In these cases, doesn't the presence of the physical crossover interfere with the final sound equalization? Does it make sense to think that the installer's logic is to leave the physical crossover in the hope that it will be a physical protective barrier so that the speaker does not accidentally receive the wrong frequencies and be damaged?

Speaker specific crossovers are generally maintained as well so you would choose based on your control and sound preferences.

iOS does not support the DSP application. It used to support it, but I just bought the product, now it doesn't support it, it's like a joke. Why did this happen?

The HDP-D90 features a DAC with sampling rate of 192kHz/32-bit for internal signal processing and 192kHz/24-bit Hi-Res audio playback resolution. The specific brand of DAC chip used is not disclosed by Alpine.

helix v twelve dsp mk2 vs dsp Alpine hdp-d90 ????

We have first-hand experience with the Alpine HDP-D90 DSP and are not a retailer of the Helix options. I have heard from many sources that Helix makes a solid unit, but the advantage to the Alpine HDP-D90 would be the onboard power which can be used for a wide variety of applications! The DSP tuning and control is also excellent on the Alpine, we love it!
