I’m 57, and it makes my heart so happy to watch a young person appreciate the music that was a large part of my younger years. Thank you , you make me smile. Just subscribed.
@@introvert4everfreddy656 Another thing that happens as you age, if you're lucky, is looking back and seeing with regret the times you've been an unkind/unconcious person and you make an extra effort to be an uplifting presence in the world.
My brother danced with my mom to this song at his wedding.... not a dry eye in the house when Kenny brought it home on the final hook. Definitely a great song!
Kenny’s Rogers is the Man!!! I listen to him daily in my car, my favorite! I love that you admire all kinds of music in your young age! Most your age don’t care! God bless you!
When I went to Kenny's concert it was a lovefest❤ The man's voice and his songs made you love everyone there! And he's a nice man. My nephew did the finishing carpentry for his home he built in Atlanta many years ago. He said he was a great client to work for. I agree more young people need to discover singers like Kenny!😘
This song is always played on the radio here in the Philippines. Almost all Filipinos young and old know this song. 🙂 rest well Kenny Rogers. Your songs are always in our hearts. ❤
I think it’s adorable that you have such an appreciation for all of these sappy old love songs we took for granted. We loved them when they were new and they sound even better now. Keep it up!
"Lucille" was the song that put him on the map. Classic country music. After that he drifted more into more adult contemporary songs like this one, which is not to say they aren't wonderful as well.
I love watching you and love how you react to Kenny Rogers, his voice is so distinctive and like you I love it when he gets the rasp in his voice. The emotion in his voice as he sings are just wonderful, a singer who really feels what he is singing about and I also love it when his voice goes deep, I can sit and relax listening to his music and the Bee Gees too. Thank you for playing this one, and for sharing your reactions with us sweetheart. Take care and stay safe please everyone Mary-Ellen UK
That song has been my husband and my song for 43 yrs now. Through 20 yrs of military service and now retirement. When I think of all we had gone through this song gets played because it is us.
She Believes In Me is one of his better ones but he has a lovely tone to his voice. Would you do a reaction to George Benson - Love X Love or Lady Love Me
G S love will turn you around.... I just had a flashback to the kenny movie “six pack”! Then I thought of the Kenny Rogers jeans with the rose and the word “Lady” stitched on the back pocket! Thanks for the memories! 😊
My husband heard this song when it first came out, before I did. We were in the car when it played on the radio. He told me, this is my song to you. Needless to say, I lost it! I still tear up when I hear it! We have been married for 41 years! Your reaction was beautiful! Thanks for playing!!
This song is one of my favorites. It always reminds me of my husband's and my relationship and marriage. Almost 30 years together. Love and will miss Kenny Rogers
Thanks for playing Kenny Rogers as have not heard him for years. Have always loved his music, especially when he gets the raspy notes going. Listen to Music Man by him...fabulous.
So glad you did this classic song ! I actually put this as a recommendation on another site .. I love this song .. so tender and special ... makes me tear up !!! Thank you!😀
I just subscribed young man! Love your appreciation for Kenny Rogers! Billy You So Crazy is my number one reactor but you're my close second! God bless you!
Would love to see your reaction to his song "Reuben James." It's a song that tells a story. One that you definitely won't be expecting. Since it was before MTV, the best way to listen to it, and get the best benefit of the story, is to find a video with the lyrics. I'd be REALLY surprised if you weren't crying like a baby at the end of it. Great reaction to this one. So good to know that a younger generation is finding the great music of the past.
My mom would play his albums all the time when I was a kid in the 70's,I dont like country music, but I love hearing Kenny, brings me back in time, thanks for reacting to him
Hey brother I'm from Australia, and im 30 years old I have been listening to Kenny since I was a baby, He's the GOAT hands down.. i even seen him in concert I was the only dude wearing adidas haha, he is truly an insprirtion to me, im just happy to hear someone say people my age should listen to Kenny Rogers
I can tell when you like a new song, you watch more videos by the artists. I’m the same way! Watching you has reminded me how much I loved these artists way back when and for some reason stopped listening to. So, thanks for helping me remember!
This is my favorite Kenny Rogers song. I'm say good you did a reaction to it. You can't go wrong with any of his work. Check out She Believes In Me and Islands in the Stream.
I adore reactions like this! The first one I saw you do was Lady by Kenny Rogers, just seeing someone genuinely enjoy classic music like this makes me smile! It's refreshing to see a younger generation (I was born in '81, you definitely look younger than me) be so open-minded to music from older generations and different genres. I grew up hearing these songs and good music like this really does transcend age, race, or any other classification. If you enjoy the soul and rasp in Kenny's voice you should check out Conway Twitty if you haven't already! Start with "It's Only Make Believe" then work your way through the rest of his catalogue...you won't be disappointed! Keep up the great work, you've definitely earned another subscriber! #goodmusicistimeless
I grew up with Kenny Rogers in the 70s, my dad had this on 8track, always loved his music, then I became a metal head in the 80s lol, it’s great seeing the younger generation liking this 👍🏻
i grew up listening to this music and i loved it , i have been married for 38 years now so i can relate to this . this song says everything that i feel in my heart for my husband and myself . i am so blessed to have married my very best friend and i won't trade any of the ups or downs that we have had because it has made us stronger .
Kenny Rogers is considered one of the most iconic country singers. He was also a crossover singer and that's where his popularity soared through the roof.
Great reaction, it makes my heart smile when young people appreciate music I grew up with. My favorite Kenny Rogers song is Morning Desire. You should try Earl Thomas Conley and Eddie Rabbit 🙂
This was one of my brother's favorite songs and was played at his funeral 8 years ago. For the last 8 years, each time I hear it, I get a little tear well up missing him. Thanks for sharing!
This song hit my soul hearing it again after a lot of years. My dad and I danced at my wedding to this and he's been gone for 9 years now. Last year I fought a rare and deadly cancer and I am winning the war. I see him as a guardian angel and seeing this makes me realize how much I still miss him but know he is watching over me.
I fell in love with my husband to a lot of Kenny Rogers songs. Now, he does some "You done me wrong" songs too, but he tears up a love song!! RIP KR!! (He died in 2020 :(
My husband introduced me to Kenny Rogers in the 80's and I became a fan. Fun fact: my husband grew up in South Korea, where Kenny Rogers is very popular. I grew up here and had never paid much attention until I met Mr. Chang!
I'm so glad you are making these videos and exposing the younger generation to listen to music the way music used to be, with stories, experiences and meaning. Some music today is like that still but not as much. Thank you!
I probably wouldn't have know how awesome his music was if my mum didn't love him so much and sang his songs all around the house, through the years, is her fave 😊
When I was younger, my mom and I used to dance to this when I was standing on the couch. She's 59 right now, and I hope I can dance with her like that again.
My husband sang this to just about every night. He said it described us perfectly. We were each others soul mates and best friends for 49 years until be passed away. I still listen to this because I can always hear him singing it to me.
My hubby and me Anniversary Song. I remember requesting this song a few months ago . Whether it was our request or someone else requested it. Thank you for playing this great song which was actually my hubby's idea.👍👍.

Rest in Peace Kenny Rogers , your music will last as long as the hills.
You'll never go wrong with Kenny Rogers!!! This song is always part of our anniversary. We've been married 46 years!
I think of my parents when I hear this. They were together for 64 years!
My first boyfriend's parents, in their 60s with five adult children, would dance to this in their living room. I never forgot it even after 40 years.
