  • It has been quite a challenge feeding our "Yard Birds" without the goats and sheep getting the chicken feed. Our "Duck Door" works out great, Lucy (possibly the world's smallest living goat) always tries to sneak in.

I have 21 chickens who live separate from 5 Runner ducks and 4 African geese. I am not sure how much I should be feeding ducks and geese daily. Right now they get about a quart of flock pellets and a quart of scratch grains and whatever else they can forage in their small field. Is that enough?

We free feed all of our birds, would depend totally on what they have to forage.

We make our own feed with natural grains like wheat, oats, canola, flax seed, barley, fish meal and have oyster shells and egg shells free choice for calcium. If you want more info you can watch the following two other videos on this topic. Thanks for watching.
