Is it possible to bard a b18c1 OBD2A in a OBD2B vehicle? I know for California it states same year or newer but I came across a motor for a good price that I couldn’t resist. Also, is it possible to convert the OBD2A to OBD2B if needed? I basically have a 1998 motor going into a 1999 chassis. I am not too familiar with the steps of getting it bard but am familiar with doing the swap alone. Any help would much appreciated. Thank you
K20z3 had type r lsd , rbc manifold , but has k24 oil pump and designed like a k24 casing in a K20 body , also has tsx 6th gear , but same final drive as type s , type s has better oil pump , both 11.0 compression , Rsx non lsd , has different head casting and water pump housing also shifter mechanism is different , type s cable throttle , k20z3 drive by throttle , k20z3 needs types s harness and Ecu to run
@@rarewitit7899 k20z3 shares an exhaust cam with the a2, but it's own unique intake cam. Z1 runs type r cams. z3 has a 1mm smaller throttle body than the Z1. Z1 produces about 5 more horse power.

Yea that lsd was used on the k20a2 swap , but make sure you put the speed ring on the lsd if you have 02-04
