  • Welcome to Unfiltered Stories, where Stephany Ann shares her powerful journey of surviving two narcissistic relationships that almost destroyed her. After escaping her first marriage, she thought she had regained control, only to be drawn into another toxic relationship with her second husband, who quickly manipulated her into marriage and motherhood. Stephany Ann candidly describes the three stages of narcissistic relationships and how they erode your soul until there's nothing left. But this isn't just a story of survival-it's about finding herself again and living her best life.

I know exactly what you mean. I survived that kind of man. I watch these videos to remember and remind myself of being there. He still tries to come back with the all the love bombing. I now know that the person I fell for was a big lie and fake person. Thank you for sharing your story. Im so proud of you for leaving ❤️

You were so lucky to have support. Most of us are usually isolated. 💛

Man when I was with my ex, I HATED when people asked me “why don’t you just leave?”, or say that I’m stupid for staying. I never thought I’d be in an abusive relationship, nobody does. Nobody stays bc they’re abusive. I felt it when she said that you become someone completely different, and it really is like an addiction. Leaving was really hard, but luckily, my family lived in a different state so when I left, I went to stay with my parents. In other words, it wasn’t as easy to go back lol and I lost so much when I left. Almost 4 years later, it still angers me. But I could’ve lost so much more if I stayed. And my life changed for the better 💕

I really resonated with this video. Thank you for sharing your story and educating us on narcissistic abuse. I feel like a magnet for narcissists so videos like this really teach me the signs and what to watch out for. ❤

Very interesting story. If only the background noise wasn't there. Really bothersome.

When I watch these stories I always think about my childhood and how toxic my family is. How’s I’ve accepted this from both sides . I will not anymore! In retrospect I definitely have BPD and I attracted a NPD easily and it was the worst. But I’m healing ❤️‍🩹 and separating from those ppl

This is completely off topic and I admit an insensitive thing to mention given the subject, but how is it possible for anyone to verbalize "thought leader" without being struck by a blinding flash of realization about how it is the most dystopian, jack boot-esque newspeak term the English language can express?

I’m scared of men who seem perfect. I will run the other way because that is impossible but I can relate with cheaters they act the same without the violence and the rage.

@bigdaddyfellowsh Right. Im married for a 3rd time to a awesome Man. But my first 2 marriages were hell on earth. Same situation back to back, there Mother's were the same as well. I had to go through major healing and self reflection as well. My codependency almost took my life.

Today everyone is psychologist. So annoyed she is talking like this, why not just tell her story, why need to over explaining in words of an expert when she obviously she’s not. And calling people to be narcissists without them being diagnosed is alarming to me. Why not tell a story and let us conclude what happened to her. To me somehow she is playing too much of a victim and trying too much to sound like mild calm person but she “smells” like a narcissist. Somethings truly off her and I don’t believe her

Why are you critising someone telling her story? Moreover, she's a lawyer, who knows and are exposed to a lot of behaviours.
