Thanks a bunch!! Genius? 🙂 I'm not so sure about that. I'm just a gear head making videos to help others. So, I hope the video helped you. You are very welcome!!
Check I know you're busy and everythingI hit the crossbar on that jeep and my ground wire Tianjin smoked real bad but I still have lights when I turn the ignition the car won't start over what should I look for to see if it's not making connection when I turn the key
Hey Chuck, what made you decide to want to get that style soft top? I had a similar setup and I was not a fan. Love the look but it really wasn't for me. As far as cleaning the stains, I use a horse hair brush with soapy water to scrub down the top. It gets most of the mud stains out of my soft top so I don't see why it wouldn't work on that Edit: Just saw the part where you said you were going to make a video on the top lol
I've run the Bestop SuperTop, stock YJ soft top, and a couple of different hardtops. I still had the factory soft top frame that came off of Rust Bucket. I very rarely run a back seat so I thought I'd try it out. I do like it for the different styling, it's quieter and definitely, has fewer water leaks. But it is without a doubt a bigger pain to drop the top. But where the rear curtain can be completely removed, I find I rarely wanna completely remove the top. Its kinda like running a safari top without the rear curtain and doors. I'm wanting to try a Rampage Frameless next. Buddy of mine has one on his LJ, I like it. Have a good one bud!!
@RESISTANCE AGAINST TYRANNY At idle I have just noticed a slight knocking. It's not very loud. Once you give it throttle the knocking goes away. I have the straight 6 with 186,000 miles
I agree with @RESISTANCE AGAINST TYRANNY , the inline 6s and 4s were known to have a lifter tick after the miles stack up. Its an easy fix and not terribly expensive. I have a video of changing the rocker arms, pushrods, and followers. It quietened a friend's 2000 TJ and it even helped the performance A LOT!!
@@Poweraddicts really pour kerosene into the oil and let it idle for 30-45 minutes??? Then change the oil. Got a suggestion o. What weight of oil to use and brand or kind????
All my rigs are 6 cylinders. One of them is an automatic, the other is an AX15. So .. if I ever happen to buy a 4 cylinder I'll venture down that road. Until then ..
Just curious i had a chance to by a 4.2 motor and trans cheap but I didn't wanna go that route my 95 is a daily driver also i have the bell housing for the swap, as of right now im just driving it with the ax5 getting stuck in gear and grinding until it gives out or i get all the proper stuff I need for the swap
Lightbulb! PVC! Thanks, you made my summer. Sometimes you just gotta see someone else's great idea. Cheers.
Your an absolute genius. Much appreciated

Did u make a vid on installing the tonneau cover?
Will the tonneau cover, or the (rampage 993015) fit on a 95 YJ?
Finally a solution That an awesome brainstorm \m/

Purple power or simple green and a scrub brush should clean it up. Scotch brite should prevent stains again
Nice job

How do you like the Rampage cover? I've got a similar three piece top that doesn't fit to the doors like that one.
Hey Chuck. Awesome vid as always. I'd like to maybe talk sometime about an issue I'm having with my 92 YJ

So when are you gonna do a ax5 to ax15 swap on a 95 yj with 2.5

What brand tonneau cover do you have on the jeep yj
That whole kit is Rampage.
excellent
Thanks!
Just a thought couldn't you make 3 arches and not use the cross pipe
The cross pipe supports the arches.
Mine did not turn out a good as yours
At my regular job I do lots of electrical and plumbing work. So .. you might say I work with stuff often.
Well... I guess that just about covers it! LOL
Why does my pipe keep bowing down
If its a tiny bit too short or not using the top center pipe it will bow down. I'm still using that set up in the video and it still works great.
