After watching this I can't wait to install my new set of OX4s in my Les Paul. Also, I want to say I really appreciate the nods to MXR and Jimmy Page here, well done!
I bought these pick ups from Mark. Low wind A4 magnets. Put them in my 58 Les Paul Historic. Phenomenal. Not heard anything closer to a PAF. The search is over. OX4 !
Update: I picked up my Les Paul from my tech on Friday 9/15/17 and it is now Sunday 9/17/17. I can't put it down! Hands down these are the best most accurate and articulate pickups I have ever played and I have been playing for over 45 years and own many guitars including 3 Les Pauls of various vintages dating back to 1971. My Les Paul Goldtop was utterly transformed into a tone machine on a whole new level! Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth the price of the ticket? Hell yes!
I just order a set from Mark's OX4's, can't wait to put them in, I sent him to a youtube website to check out a sound of some vintage PAF's from Doug and Pat show, he came back to me and said I can do that, if he does I'll get back to you all as well as all my playing buddys, and will get him backed up with a year's worth of work. Just the guitar and the amp.
Hi, is this the A5 version used in this clip?... and is it the 'hot-wind' that shows as an option on your site? I would think A5 would better be on the hot side.

Great video! Captures the heart of the company - I know a lot of passion goes into the pickups.

Prog Metal Musician which one did you go for
This video is so slick! Love it.
One of the best sounding pickups...WOW!
They sound quite pleasant
Can’t believe no one has mentioned the drums!
@DanWesternDrums did an amazing job!

Wow! This now my reference tone!! Great job and nice playing.
Thanks so much!
Holy shit these sound good
Amazing pickups, made by an amazing guy. You've not played a PAF style pickup until you've played these.
Great Video! I have heard nothing but good about your pickups!
Slick vid!!
Sweet!
sound great to me!

My first choice !!! LES
Shitt... every clip I hear these pups... I say that... a good thing

I used these on two guitars...one was stolen! I'd give anything just to have the pickup back!
Ha, the neck pickup ring is broken in the same spot on my Les Paul.
And mine ;-)
Sounds great. Have two sets of them. Amp used in video?
Glad you liked it! I used a Vox AC30C2 for the video
What song is he playing? It sounds like led zep but I can’t place it?
It sounds like a mash up of Out on the Tiles and The Ocean.
The song is an original composition I wrote for the video with deliberate nods to Led Zep ;)
What’s the magnet in these?
I think magnets are alnico 4 because description says standard wind. Maybe rough cast or short ones.
