- As temperatures fluctuate, keep your tires properly inflated by checking your tire pressure from your instrument cluster! Remember to check your pressure with a handheld digital tire pressure gauge in the morning while your car has been sitting overnight to get the most accurate tire pressure reading while the car is cold and deflate to the door placard's recommended pressure.

Tyre pressure increases when the tyre heats up. So you fill your tyres to the pressure shown on the door sticker. All good. Then you take the car for a drive and the value is higher. Therefore if you’re driving along and the info screen shows the same values as the door sticker, aren’t the tyres now under inflated?
Thanks for the great info on how to see these pressure in the dash. It only took 30 minutes of searching through terrible youtube videos to find this gem. You may want to think about explaining to the many uniformed customer out there about how sensors must be adapted to the computer. Sooo much misinformation out there making people distrust dealerships and techs in general and I didn't see anything on youtube that really explained the complexities of these systems. Just retired after 45 years as a tech in this industry and glad I no longer need to explain all this to the many misinformed customers out there. Again well done sir!
What year cars are we Talking About?
New to subs, have 2013 ob 3.6r limited, please what is sequence to check tire pressure with little levers on left, thanks
Is this supported on the 2016 Subaru levorg
Why is there not one video of how to reset the TPMS sensor for a 2021 Forester after a tire change?
What if it just shows dashes instead of numbers? What’s wrong?
I don't know much about cars but I'm guessing something's wrong with the sensor
Yeah I'm getting the same thing too.
@@porcelain_fruit806 Did you find the issue?

Thanks I am looking forward to our first Subaru coming in to the dealership in a few weeks
Is this available on Subaru Forester 2017?
While the Subaru screen is a reference it is not necessarily accurate
Does subarue2019 outback show each tire on dash
Weird that it is not reading my tire pressure.
Mine either
The TMPS turn off when stopped to conserve battery’s. Therefore must be moving to see psi
You have to drive at least one mile before it will indicate the tire pressure
I can’t seem to locate mine I am in a wrs
Do 2024 models have this function cause I think they may have changed this…
Can you check tire pressure without starting engine?
the image of the four tires comes up but there are no numbers. how do i get the numbers to show?
You have to drive at least one mile before the indicator will give you the tire pressure numbers
Thanks for this great explanation
whats does it mean if 3 of my 4 tyres says "--" and one says "29" ?
You get an answer?
For me it was tyre sensor being messed up and got to replace it@@mynameisjeff512
I tried toggling the buttons on the left of my steering wheel and it just ask a bunch of questions?? I still haven't found tire pressures. I have a 2020 WRX STI....HELP!!
Same
TPMS is only available in some U.S models. I dont know why these manufactures done make all models identical with the same futures. It is only a headache for the consumers. Technical this is a simple system they can put in all models but they refuse.
Not foresters??
This video didn't show me crap
You probably don’t have a Subaru that falls under the categories of models that have TPMS
Or I could just put my tire pressure gauge on the tire
Too bad Canadian models don’t come with TPMS.
OH My Word, I worked😃 THANKS SO MUCH!!
Have no use for this bit of technology. Go to Canadian Tire and get an electronic tire pressure tester, and do it yourself. Only takes a minute.
Yes, do have DRL’s
