I thought this was the final season, I'm so glad I was wrong! So many unanswered questions.. does dan get out of hell? Wtf is up with ella, and when is she going to find out about Lucifer?
Can u give ur thoughts how Lucifer is now immortal around Chole throughout the season

Here is what I’m thinking brace yourselfs it’s a big theory
So Lucifer is god now and Chloe is willing to give up being the detective for him but he’s not sure it’s the right thing and he realizes that Chloe should do what she loves and that he can’t take that away
So Lucifer goes to heaven and becomes the sad little god
Maze goes to the underworld and she finds out she would rather be mortal and spend the rest of her time with eve rather than be stuck in hell torturing people ( I’ll definitely be a hard choice but ya know love )
Then Lucifer has second doubts about being god so he goes to earth to talk with Ella and then he tells Ella who he is but for real no 6 foot emu as a cover up story to the feather
Meanwhile Dan is in hell and his hell loop is Charlotte
Lucifer thinks he can’t be god so he asks
Amenadiel to take his place but he can’t because he wants to stay with Charlie and Linda
So Lucifer goes around searching for which of his brothers or sisters is worthy enough to become god
He then tells Michael to switch with him while he goes down to earth to check on the detective
And all heaven breaks loose
He sends Michael to hell
Then Lucifer stops trying to make someone else be god and accepts his job and he is starting to realize that his father has the worst job ever and he wasn’t with them because he didn’t have time and he doesn’t want that to happen with him and Chloe so he goes down to earth and asks Chloe if she would give up everything for him , when she says yes without a doubt
He knows he can’t be god and that he is either going to be with Chloe or the throne in heaven and he can’t have both
Dan gets outa his hell loop and goes to heaven
So Lucifer decided he’s going to multitask and make all the angles in charge of a part of gods job so everything is more even and he has time to stay on earth with the detective
Ella finally talks to Lucifer and asks him why he didn’t say anything before
And he goes on and tells him that everyone who finds out can’t process it and it brings out the worst in them ( because Linda went insane for a bit , Chloe full out went exorcism and Dan shot him )
Ella has that guy Dan wanted him to go out with as his boyfriend and doesn’t end up being a serial killer
Dan meets with Charlotte
Chloe and Lucifer live on with each other
God sees Lucifer and all the angles working together
Michael is in hell for all eternity
Maze and eve torture souls down in hell
And bam ending
Some parts have got to actually happen
Things that made me cry:
-God telling Lucifier he loves him
-Dan dying
-Mazikeen crying over Dan
-Realising Dan is in hell
-Chloe dying in Lucifiers arm
-Lucifer dying to save Chloe
Plus when mazikeen initiates the attack in the last episode.

Underappreciated hero of the finale was Zadkiel. Stepping up when it mattered to help Lucifer, and his dancing was wonderfully awkward.

@@malvulable4351 but that's just it, things like that don't happen in real life. At best they realize they don't agree with you, when the buzz from the big emotional revelation wears off and life goes on. At worst, they up and leave when someone else has a big emotional revelation. 😂

@@InfernalPanda I was wondering from the Dan naked and afraid episode that something here is fishy and then they ended the season with dan having a positive transformation and two episodes later when he was trying to set up Ella, playing with trixie I said out loud 'what's exactly happening here' and then it all made sense. it was as if he was spending some final moments of his life.
When everyone "died" in lux I thought that was his hell loop until they got up

So God made sure Chloe was born so that Lucifer could learn to fall in love. God's plan was for Lucifer to learn what love really is, so Lucifer fought for love instead of hatred, jealously, or spite like he did when he first fell. He changed so much because of love that God himself was proud of the man he has become since being on earth. Lucifer changed so much that he even sacrifices himself for Chloe, for love.. which in turn would make him become worthy of being given the power of God, only someone that understands love should have the power. Thats why Michael couldn't be worthy, he tried to take control and become god through Fear. Lucifer wasn't ready until right at the end when he finally could say I love you and actually mean it because he only tells the truth. Its all very poetic really.

It went from a moment of “oh he’s gunna escape like they usually do” then as he goes off surprise shot to the back. Then the extra shots when he slowly turns around....
Oh you cried too... I got the hiccups and tears... Should of seen me when God finally confessed to Lucifer... I really related to that, I got the hiccups paused the show to stop crying cry.

I thought he was going to spill it when she talked about him hitting the emu. Hopefully she will find out he is god, then see him return to his old self. I’d love to see her reaction
I'd like to see more Azrael "Rae-Rae" and Ella interaction when the reveal happens (if it happens), seeing that Ella's old childhood "imaginary ghost-friend" is actually the Angel of Death herself and Lucifer's sister...thus confirming that Rae-Rae is real afterall.
guarantee if they ever let Ella know, she'd lose her faith to which Lucifer will comfort her saying something along the lines of "you helped bring back my faith" and they'll do a whole, theyre not so different from us after all moment and Ella will be back to normal.
people knowing the truth just became a running joke by the end, only Chloe's reaction was good even though it made for some very annoying episodes due to being impatient and whatnot.
Everyone has a theory so here is mine.
Angels self actualize, even God did that according to Amanadiel.
Remember how at the end of season 2, Lucifer felt so good about himself that he grew his wings back and lost the devil face ?
He thought he would never be worthy to say those words to Chloe .. but here, now, he had the blade in his hands and could have defeated Michael but he instead drops it, flyes to heaven, dispite knowing he would die, sacrificing himself like this, being truly selfless. And he finally feels worthy, he finally feels like he deserves to be loved, and he himself can be say those words without lying.
And he self actualizes .. to become God.
Right before he was about to die, he "grew up" both emotionally and literally .. becoming his best self.
This is what God wanted for him .. to make his own choices, and to grow on his own, as a consequence of those choises.
I think when God said "It's not up to me anymore" he meant it .. he really didn't arrange for any of this to happen .. he didn't leave behind any sort of Godly power to be gained from, voting or whatever.
He knew the only way someone was going to succed him, was if someone was to earn that power himself.
I theorize that any of those angels can achieve the power of God if they "grow up" like Lucifer did, and truly become worthy of that power. But as Chole said, it's not like you can just not feel guilty .. it's not like Lucifer can just feel worthy .. so it's a hard journey, and yes .. God did something that was responsible for these events, and that was creating Chloe, a human who is truly worthy herself. Remember how, Michaels powers worked on Chole, and so do Amanadiels ? Chloe is not special because she's imune to celestial power. She's immune because Lucifer draws out selfish hidden desires that people are afraid to admit. But Chloe was always too pure to have any of those .. and it's the kind of selfless, good to the core, self sacrificing self, that Lucifer would inevitably fall in love with, because that is the kind of person he himself, could never become. Atleast that's what he believed, and when he finally accepted that he actually has become that.. he became what he was always meant to be, the Lightbringer.
And then Lucifer self-actualizes .. to become God. ~ Lee Garner
Also I just realized the irony of it all.
Lucifer thought he needed to become God in order to feel worthy of Chloe, but actually he needed to feel worthy of Chloe to become God.

Once Mazikeen gets hailed as the Queen of hell, he’ll change the rules for Dan. Just like with the guy who helped Lucifer in heaven, he was in hell until he admitted his guilt. Idk i’m not sure i just want Dan on Heaven tbh.

@@Artikulate-fd3eo let me explain by my opinion, maze is a demon, she didn't have a soul for since she was born, and now that she felt pain one of her first times, she cried like a child, like for the first time ever. She did a great job playing, and she showed us the weirdness of feeling the pain for the first time. The actress did a good job, and Maze was really not taking it easily, because it was difficult, you know, some people couldn't completely understand why her crying was so unusual, but many of them did and cried even more than they usually would, just because it even made Maze cry, that even demon was frustrated and desperate by Dan's death. I don't know if I'm explaining it in a correct and clear way, but I really want you to realize the reasons of some weird things that happened. Not just you, but everyone, I just don't want this amazing and emotional, breathtaking and destroying scene to be foggy for someone.

Ella’s dark side isn’t fully explained for me yet. She sees how people can die all in her head before they do/don’t , which I guess could fit into her being a forensic scientist but could it also have to do with Azriel, the Angel of death? IDK but I hope maybe they explore that angle. And Dan introducing her to the other cop is no accident. Why else would the introduction of him even happen 🤔

Someone made a theory that God made Lucifer run a kingdom himself bc God wanted to see how Lucifer would handle a kingdom by himself bc God knew that Lucifer would be the next God if he ever retires. And it was also God's plan to put Chloe in his life, sending Amenadiel to Chloe's mom to give her the blessing of having a child. And making Lucifer see how humanity is and how a person can change another person's life which makes him a good man and can run a whole living Universe by himself.
Afterall it was God's plan all along.

Imagine at a beginning of a whole episode. A montage of so many murderers getting beaten by Maze, getting captured by Chloe, that the main episode is overcrowding since there are too many prisoners.
Yeah, now that he's God he might just stop doing the cop thing honestly. The crime solving thing will probably be done by Amenadiel next season, with his application being sent in and such.
"Epic battle" The battle: Literally just a bunch of people fighting with wings.
That battle was definitely disappointing

An error slipped into your script.
You compared Michael losing his wings as punishment to Lucifer's original defeat. That is not how Lucifer lost his wings. He had Maze cut them off as a final F-U to his dad... But that only happened when he came to L.A., millennia after The Fall (his defeat). So, one had nothing to do with the other.
For me Lucifers sacrifice had something of a "Jesus" element to it
He had to die for the thing he loved most i.e Chloe and by extention humanity so he could be ressurected and ascent to Heaven which parallels the story of Jesus (at least to my understanding)
The devil becomes god. As Palpatine once said, “How ironic”

When Maze was speaking Afrikaans in the last episode it gave me goosebumps because I felt I was in there fighting on her side. Almost like when thanos and the avengers fought in endgame

I hated the ending it had no closure and I didn’t find it emotional or amusing at all
I think the reason that there’s titles like that are showing that he’s not Lucifer anymore he’s not the devil he god
This was the best season by far, so happy then finished up so much in this season compared to other series

The language (Lilim) that Maze spoke when charging at the Angels during the fight is actually Zulu language from South Africa. She said "Babulale Bonke" which means "Kill them all".
When Lucifer died that was sad when Chloe died that was very sad when Dan died that was extremely sad when Trixie found out that her dad died that was HEARTBREAKING
I laughed too hard when Lucifer said about a guy tossing him across the room like an Angry Bird!
The musical episode was by far my favorite..and good god maze is sexy in that episode!

I kinda hated it, IMHO.
But I hate filler episodes in general, also the other filler episode with Dan that was about nothing basically, Lucifer paying back for the shots.

Why can Micheal even ignite the flaming sword? His Mother said in season 2, that just him, the lightbringer, could ignite it. Can everybody ignite it now or just Micheal because he's his twin? And why could he instant ignite it, it took at lot of time for lucifer to figure out how to ignite it.
she meant that only he could ignite it without the final piece.
If Michael didn’t have amenadeil’s necklace he wouldn’t be able to ignite the sword only Lucifer can ignite it without the necklace

Angels self-actualize. That's been a thing throughout the series.
I think this last season is going to focus on Lucifer not feeling like he got there for he does not have God powers until he feels he's worthy and self-actualizes himself into full god mode

Lucifer didn't kill the "Chuck God" French Mercenary boss right in the end of the episodes. Lucifer and Maze just killed all the henchmen and Lucifer whispered something to "Chuck God" French Mercenary boss and he fell to his knees but his death wasn't actually shown.

Everyone is missing the fact that obviously Lucifer loves Chloe, and he did prove it. He gave her Liliths ring, which would make her immortal. All these twists and turns man 😭
If I recall, God didn't specifically say they had to choose or have a vote. I'm sure he said "it's not up to me any more. you'll figure it out". And God is known to test people so I wouldn't be surprised if God made it so if Lucifer ever sacrificed himself in heaven for selfless reasons, he would become God? I mean it's likely God knew how things would play out and it seems weird he didn't lift the banishment for Lucifer to enter heaven when he finally told him he loved him. Like he's proud of him and what he's become so why would God leave the banishment in place? I just suspect he tweaked it so that if Lucifer ever did sacrifice himself, he would be worthy of being the next God? Like a test he passed?
I actually thought the same. God cares about the humanity, and as we saw, Michael didn't care at all and some of the other angels.
We saw that lucifer doesn't want to kill people and actually have the passion and truly love to fight for the humanity.
And that's why god made that as soon Lucifer sacrifices himself for a human, he would become the new god.
If god had lifted the death penalty for entering heaven, Lucifer would not have had to selflessly sacrifice himself for Chloe.
@@kennyklaar4987 I'd even say it explains Chloe. So we are all under the impression Chloe was a gift for Lucifer, or her immunity to his "charms" if we follow Amenadiel's logic. But what if Chloe wasn't a gift? What if she was the test? God specifically created Chloe(via Amenadiel) and she's immune to Lucifer's"mojo" so he tested Lucifer to see if he could love a human who isn't "under his spell" and even sacrifice his life for her? Proving he is worthy?
@@danielfalk9724 that's what I'm trying to get at. If it wasn't a test or sacrificial requirement, the banishment would have been lifted. Because it wasn't lifted, we can theorise THAT was the plan all along and the sacrifice was required to become God. We agree, I'm just not good with words.

But if God really did lift the ban, why did he burn up? the answer is simple, all celestials self-actualize, so maybe lucifer self-actualized him going up in flames because he had no way of knowing that God lifted the ban.
This had to be the most emotional season of the show by far. Now let's hope that they end it right.

Also, Lucifer has Chloe/Amenadiel/real support this time, when Uriel died there was no one Lucifer felt he could reliably turn to.

Oh, come on. He went over to her and was all like “She’s dead” with mild surprise. It’s as if he didn’t care. Even Amenadiel took Uriel’s death hard. Lucifer felt guilty because he loved Uriel, as he loves all of his siblings, except for maybe Michael. Amenadiel in particular was extremely fond of Remiel, and they didn’t even show that. I just wish they had realized this when writing the scene.
@@jamescooley8099 Idk, Lucifer/Amenadiel’s seemingly mild reaction to Remiel’s death makes sense to me. There was a lot going on and more important things to focus on.
Also, when they were in the penthouse just after Remi died, Lucifer didn’t really get the chance to get emotional, because Chloe almost immediately brought the focus on the fact the sword was still incomplete.

Lucifer is hardly known to keep his emotions in check. At the very least, he should have been furious.
I think that this was god's plan all along, from the moment he made Chloe for Lucifer. Thats why he said its all part of his plan before he left.
I feel like the season got somewhat slow. I did cry when Dan died and a little bit when Chloe died. I lost it when they were buying time and tried to do a dance number.(which I have a feeling theres going to be outtakes of that scene in the special features section of the dvd). I think they are going to try to get Dan out of hell. I hope Michael doesn't come back too much next season, they way Tom Ellis voiced the character that I found irksome.
Tom Ellis actually said in an interview that when he auditioned for lucifer, he tried doing it with this american accent and it sounded like he was a douche and that's why he chose the british accent. I think this is the reason why he chose that exact accent for michael because he's indeed a douche.
I agree. His American accent is horrible, and even the character Michael was pretty bad acting. I know he was trying to make him different than Lucifer, but it was cringeworthy every time I saw it. Also, I had no idea there was a Lucifer season 6. I thought season 5 ended fine, where Lucifer will now be God with Chloe at his side and the viewers can decide in their minds how that will be. I'm surprised there's a 6th season
I agree, I find ever since Netflix picked up the show it got bad for that, there’s been parts is season 3,4 and 5 where I forget the plot line and when something happens again it’s like “ ohhh yeah I forgot this was happening “ witch kinda sucks

The show is ridiculous on so many levels if you actually read and studied the bible and even have a general understanding of Christianity, but the charm of the show is that its a car crash in mid motion happening before your eyes, not only that but the actors put their full weight behind the scenes and give it their all in every scene. Its stupid fun, not to mention an atheists wet dream of Lucifer being God in the end, being simply "misunderstood" and somehow having the narrative flip in his favor.

i hope lucifer isnt god long-term tbh. a “god is in everything/everybody” type of end where there is no one person to be god would be cool in my opinion. but at the very least i dont want him to be “all powerful” because that would make everything too easy, there wouldnt be much of a story from that point. also if they want to keep ellas faith continuously, she could find out lucifer really is the devil/an angel simply by choosing to finally believe him, by having faith in what he says to be true. she doesnt *need* proof for that. (but either way i want her to find out about everything at this point she deserves to LOL)

I feel like season 5 was the perfect ending, actually. Leaves it opened ended for us to believe that all the characters we’ve come to know will get their happy endings. There are a couple of unanswered questions, sure, but most things are tied up fairly neatly. I hope season 6 doesn’t ruin that.

tbh I'd like to see another crossover with CW. Imagine Amenadiel showing up on The Flash or Superman & Lois, for an episode. I'd say Lucifer, but well, he might be a bit strong for that now.
Season 5 was so powerful, absolutely cant wait for Season 6.
I saw an interview with with Tom Ellis and he essentially confirmed that there will be a villain and that it is someone we have already met in the show. So God or not Lucifer will face some sort of adversary.

I think Dan is going to be the second person to leave Hell, the Devil himself complimented Dan about him always trying to do the right thing and neve giving up. Granted it wont be a short stay but eventually Dan will see Charlotte in Heaven.

So listen what if that was Chuck from supernatural and this was just another earth he was messing around on being a mafia leader. There is an episode of legends of tomorrow that has a supernatural crossover sorta and legends also has a Lucifer crossover so it’s not too far off to say that supernatural and Lucifer are in similar alternate universes.
You forgot to mention that the father of the mini-golf owners (Danny Glover) also played Lionel Luther (Lex Luther's father) in 10 seasons of Smallville.
My hope for the next season is that they bring Dream in to play, as a Sandman crossover.

The best part of 5b episodes is when Trixie kicked lucifer in the leg and there exchange.
Michael can't return to Heaven without his wings so I would expect him to become a main character as he adjusts to his life on Earth with a possible redemption arc. If he can overcome his anger and regrow the wings with self-actualization/or have them returned by the current God/, he'd be able to return to Silver City, while serving as a scapegoat and comic relief before (in place of Dan).
I really hope they won't resurrect Dan, though ofc he will be transferred to Heaven; would be interesting to see Chloe visit his loop to absolve him of guilt, though can't see it happen without her becoming a celestial, or utilizing some last-minute magical gimmick.
Ella's darkness will most likely be explored by exposing more of her backstory while she develops her relationship with Carol, who at this point cannot become a mini-villain because done that. It would be interesting to see her succumb to the darkness and become evil even if for a moment, sorta like with Dark Willow from Buffy. Oh, and she will finally learn about angels because come on.
Chloe's Gift motif will be explained, possibly as a part of God's plan for Lucifer to overcome his issues, although I'd love it to be more about her than him. I also really hope she won't get pregnant.
Lucifer will struggle with God's powers, especially the part where he wanted to eliminate pain, which will be impossible. He may become a mortal in the end, as the last episode title points strongly to Deckerstar, though I'd prefer him to retain his angel status after resigning from godness. Amenadiel is out, Michael cannot be trusted even with the redemption completed, so Zadkiel could be a strong candidate here.
Perhaps the goal would be to show it doesn't matter who holds the position as long as they are loving and righteous, as God gave people free will and cannot control them directly. It's a short season and Chloe technically quit the force, so the writers may decide not to include police investigations, which would be a relief at this point and allow for more plot to be fitted in.
On a side note, Remiel's feather being identified by Ells as emu leads to all angel feathers coming from specific animals which would be hilarious (Kiwi bird, anyone?). In season 6 I really hope for more angel sibling bickering and Deckerstar family moments with Trixie ^^
It was said in an interview that Michaels arc is over and complete. Tom Ellis won't play Michael again in the final season.

I've always felt Amenadiels's son, Charlie would become something very special, and with God leaving, he'd be the perfect person, because I think he'll get some kind of supernatural growth spurt eventually.
He's part divine and part human, which would probably make him the perfect choice. God saw something special in Charlie but wouldn't say, but I think Him leaving His powers with Charlie was foreshadowing greater things for him.

In the episode where Penelope and God go on a date, if they had started dating, Lucifer would of been dating his step sister.

My great grandmother died very early (my grandma was only a teen, when she died), and my great grandfather than later in his life met the mother of the grand uncle, while the two of them were already dating, and both couples married...
and that's how they became married step siblings.

Okay, pretty much sure in the next season the villain will be Adam. I mean he was mentioned to much times for not to appear .Even God himself appeared. So we saw most of biblical characters, whole Adam's family ( his children, his wives). Also, Adam is the one who was done wrong by both Lucifer and God( especially, since in season 4 it was hinted that the reason why Adam and Eve were banished is real "intimacy" with Luci) So, imagine:
God gone, both wives left him ( Lilth died, Eve run away), and the person, who made him suffer on Earth is now new God. Pretty much enough for Adam go rogue!
