Fishing up here in Manitoba on the red river. We have been fishing pre dawn it’s been on fire. For bait we got almost all on shrimp but a few on frog s. We channel s and brown bullheads here only. Good video
Great tips , thank you . Especially now know fishing from the back to fish in close . Boat is not back together yet but will be soon . As always appreciate all that ya do
love your videos. very informative. I'm a bank only fisherman so limited on where and when i can go as also have 3 kids all in sports as well. only time I get out in a boat is when I pay for someone to do so. I try to go out at least once or twice a year with Jaime from Breakline Charters here locally. I know you are familiar with her. Thanks again for another cool video. Normally get out on bank in early evening and til midnight or little later
I am mainly a bank/pier fisherman as well. My 3 year old loves to go with me. Luckily there are some good bank spots on lake Wylie. My son has give with me so much he even tries to do the video intros now 🤣🤣
I fish Murray a lot. When would you say it is best to fish in lake vs river. It’s a 30 min boat ride from my house to the river so id like to be able to catch more in lake than i do. Also why do you use heavier leader than main? I hate going back to get my boards when i break
@Dieter Melhorn Fishing .. so there is such thing as a white bullhead with a forked tail? We have brown and black bullheads here never seen a white cat
Deiter your not supposed to turn the flatheads back in your are as they are an invasive species. Where I'm at in n.c. they are native to my water. Check the reg book lots of changes this year
@@DieterMelhorn yes sir it is but super hard to fish no boat access and the rafters think they own the river. A ten foot john boat will get you to some spots but mostly it's a long walk to get to a good spot
I got myself a green HellCat down @ The Smokey Mountain Fishing Expo last week and paired it up with the Piscifun casting reel , can't wait to get I in the water 🎣🤙🇺🇸
@@DieterMelhorn ya I figured it was something like that, thx. I just got my first DD ever. Got some brutes and 3.0 looking forward to puttin em to work. Also got lil led lights to go em. :) Tight Lines!
Great morning bite , totally enjoyed watching Dieter . Great video.
Simple but awesome information.. Thanks. Inaad to be on the water a little earlier

Where are you at in NC?? There are only a couple of places flatheads are native in NC, and those are TN River drainages.
@@DieterMelhorn I'm on the French broad river near Marshall n.c. I fish from there to the Tennessee state line
Yes sir, that’s about the only place they’re native in NC….gorgeous country.

Are you using ugly stick rods? What resovore are you at?😮
In my area they don't seem to ever want to bite.
Went out this morning for catfish at 7 but it just turned out to be a gar day😅

Just curious, why weren't you using Demon Dragons?
No idea....probably out of them....LOL!

I can only fish 3 rods in Oklahoma with 3 hooks per rod.
Where at in Oklahoma I from there as well
I don't know DM... You look a bit tired at that hour. A bit slow...
He could be smoking a little weed to relax 🤷🏻♂️
