Blocking for mods is intuitive but if you re-check the weighting for the mods you see that when you have one mod as a blocker it just adds more weight to lower tiers of the remaining mods, so it doesn't really help with getting desired high tiers of the remaining mods. My friend and I started out by blocking all the time since that makes sense coming from POE and were sad that if you ever wanted to re-craft an item the most effective way to do it was to brick the item by switching one mod to a blocker but it turns out that's not the case.
nice video. learned some things for sure. I was a little frusterated with dream crafting earlier because i never once got any of the currency for dreamcrafting, but i eventually figured out how to buy the currency i needed and was totally worth it to apply upgrades. I haven't really crafted anything from scratch, i thought it was too expensive to do that, i just been buying best thing i can afford for that slot then upgrading a couple of stats but now you got me wondering if i would have been much better off crafting like you did in this video. Kinda too late though on this run, i got all t1 on all my gear right now, but will totally try this next time instead of buying mostly complete gear.
the overall crafting is somewhat manageable, but the materials man, brutal when you start crafting priceless.
Yeah... it's about 8k FE for a single full t0 piece of gear with 2 ultimate, 2 advanced. Double if it's a 2handed weapon.
I love how crafting is balanced now. It's very approachable at every progression level.
I really don't hope they overhaul it once more

Been waiting for you to make this video... thank you!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Thx a lot Don, as a newbie to the game this helped a lot!
Thank you so much for this video! Definitely helped me figure out how to plan my next upgrades

@@zengrath self crafting, especially early is generally the way to go so next time you're better armed to do that now
