“Stay the Course” is a song about perseverance and believing in yourself even when you feel down or alone. It’s about finding the greatness that you possess inside of you and nurturing it. I can just resonate with this song so much. I hopped on a plane to Hawaii from florida to stay with my mom who i havent seen in 20 yrs. I became a homeless drug addict during the pandemic, my girlfriend had broke up with me and my dad had passed away from lung cancer and i fell into a deep depression and started using heavy drugs. A friend told me i needed to leave or else i would die and told me he would buy me a plane ticket anywhere in the world, and i said "I want to go to Hawaii and see my mom" and in 2 days i was on a plane, and now i am 8 months clean, never looking back, stay the course!
Everytime i start to feel like nothing is right i go to this song and it brings me back. Iration is a healing agent. Love these guys!

This song is a emotional reminder of a dear friend that flew out here to Hawaii, sold everything she had, left the mainland and the hard knocks behind, she told me the same thing "As soon as she heard and seen the Sea" she knew she was never going back, Such a real, beautiful, genuine, honest and thoughtful soul she is, We have talked on the phone every week for the last 15 years, but as I type this it is hard to see, as my TEARS CAN'T STOP POURING, She lived in Lahaina during the fire, I haven't heard from her since a few days before, For 3 weeks it went to voicemail, now there is a no-service message, I have watched every video on the Maui fire hoping I would see her, I have checked all the missing persons lists, MPD and the huge one with 6457 names there was one name exactly like hers but found by family, she had no family here, took me half the night, one by one, I refuse to give up hope, I just cannot, but the other half of me knows and whispers to me, she's gone...

2021 On a pier in south Carolina in what has been my lowest year battling depression and anxiety starting a new career and facing a major move. I hear IRATION for the first time "already gold in bumpin on the radio at tikki bar I felt the vibe right off rip. knowing I needed more of this in my life I hit up iTunes and got the album. First song iTunes on shuffle plays off the album is "stay the course" I knew then that love and Light were speaking to me through IRATION's music and no matter where I was or what mind set had taken me over the love and light of this world would find me. Thank you so much for this album it has helped me in so many ways! To all those fighting the good fight stay strong love will find away IRATION is here to help. P.s.
