The heat's not gonna bother me since I'm looking at the bottom part of Florida to live. it's basically gonna be calories for me to burn when I start jogging and exercising outdoors.
NY just got a 60 degree day the other day and my family was acting like "it's scorching hot" 😂😂😂😂

Can you do a video talking about CDDs? Sounds like a huge turn off to living in certain areas of Florida, such as St Augustine. Is it included in your mortgage amount? Seems like if you get a mortgage for X for a house, your mortgage can actually be X + an insane amount of tens of thousands of dollars for the CDD. If you could talk about this that would be great. Thanks.

Great info for potential residents! Regarding colleges, I went to FIU in Miami and would highly recommend it because it's a public university, so cheaper for residents and has some excellent programs including nursing, architecture and even law. You're dead on about the beaches in the keys, aside from that my personal take on it is the keys are more of a vacation spot or 2nd home, it's not for everyone as far as permanent residency. Keep in mind, Key West is a 3 and a half hour drive from the mainland of Miami and the job prospects there are limited to the hospitality field.

Good question! St Petersburg and Lakeland FL have some pretty decent Farmers Markets. We also have some down here in Miami too. Only thing I notice is that at the farmers market near me they bring produce literally from South America so I think that sort of defeats the point of the farmers market. But being vegan is a lifestyle choice and I think that can really be done anywhere these days. I have friends here that are vegan and we have plenty of restaurants that cater to this lifestyle as well 👌

I have been to the Keys many times. I had no idea that the everglades was near Key Largo! The Keys are not really like Hawaii. Its way hotter than Hawaii and there is no mountains in the Keys. I like hot weather but we went to Keys West in July. Wow! Cant take it! Hate the cold though Also Hawaii has no billboards. Its some kind of la but it makes it so much more beautiful! But I LOVE the Keys! We love Hog fish! But it is much different thanHawaii! There are 132 island in Hawaii and 8 are inhabited. We have been there many times.
We do have alot of neighbors in Florida. Mostly people who are sick of the weather on the east coast., I have lived in NYC most of my life but for a brief time I lived in Chicago. I HATED it! Its mad cold and too much crime!
NYC was the safest large city in America for 35 years. But now its bad due to Deblasio. I would like to know what areas are good for handicapped? I am partially handicapped and liked the pier at Naples until you said things close early there. So a beach town with a pier or walking path. Not Hollywood its too seedy looking. but are there any others? Anyway nice video. Its 4 am I have to brush my teeth now! Goodnight!

Good question! I think it's a good idea if 1. You are certain you would rather build your own house, than buy an existing one. And 2. You can afford to pay the property taxes and any other costs associated with it for 10 years. That does sound a bit far away, say for example, if the land cost you $50k and you are paying $700/year in property taxes then thats not so bad and would be a substantial savings over paying 100k for that same land 10 years down the road👍
