I have the second gen SE and it still works fine and is fast enough for me. Won’t buy another phone for about 2-3 years once I get a job after graduating. Just wish I bought one with more space

I was waiting for this amazing phone . It's very good for me because it's minimal and well size . I hate big phones , because they don't make me feel I use a phone ! They just like a medium tablet ... I love it at all 👌🏻

I’m currently using an iPhone 8. Had it almost 2.5 years and it’s beginning to show it’s age, especially the battery. Everything on it still works as intended and I’ve kept a case on it since I got it. I’ll probably pick up a 3rd Gen SE in April or May and trade in my current phone and get a few dollars for it. This new iPhone seems like the most logical upgrade for me.

Tbh i have the SE 2020 and i can run demanding games at full quality,it's really fast Same screen,design and battery...I'll be fine to wait for the next one,hopefully with finally an OLED screen

For those saying "Oh I got a iPhone SE 2" im good. Well ive had about 3- iPhone SE 2s with the latest one being about 2 months old. I purchased the 3 and couldn't be happier. (1)The battery life on this thing is truly all day long battery life. My 2 month old iPhone 2 since new would only last about 6-7 hours with the 3 I don't have to plug it up till im in bed doing the same exact tasks. (2)The extra gig of memory and the a15 is a huge improvement from the a12 with 3gb of memory. Page reloads are nonexistent and nothing slows this thing down. (3) 5g -the speed is 4 times faster than 4g and is widely available and its not just the ultrafast 5g found in big cities its the 5g that's everywhere now. (4) People say they can't afford it. All carriers offer installment plans..mines $17 a month...I spend that at Starbucks in 3 days. Also people are forgetting you can sell you old iPhone you know. An average resell price for decent shape iPhone is $175 and up..Thats like half off. I think is a great phone and everything is louder and faster..the speakers when playing music or even in calls is noticeably louder. Its a great phone.
No night mode in 2022? All they needed to do was increase the size of the battery and upgrade the camera and it looks like they did neither. Instead they gave us a feature nobody asked for on a device with such a small battery, 5G. Hard pass.

I agree on this . If it has Night mode , I would get it. I love the home button. I got the se 2020 , but the battery life is worse.. could do abit more for the camera , even wider mode cam .. bcoz only this phone got the Home Button ! Where is the plus ! I would not have considered n gotten that either !
I will get this once they bring the flat edges back to it with Touch ID. That will be a huge winner to me. Hopefully the Mini turns into the SE body in future iterations!
This is the same as the 2nd gen SE but with a little better specs and more pricey this is not an upgrade I’ll be sticking with my 2nd gen SE works just as good

I like that it kept 8 design because i like the bezels and especially home button and fingerprint scanner. I have 12 and sometimes I want to switch to my old 6s

I am a lifelong Apple user and this really disappointed me. I was really hoping for an even cheaper SE so I could easily upgrade my old 6s. $430 for 64GB is a complete JOKE. That is NOT a budget price. I swear, Apple had such a good opportunity to break into the cheaper android market and they totally blew it. Now they won't even be getting sales from people like me. better off getting pixel5a with the google-fi deal its only 299 but the design is good looking the battery life is amazing. small sized the camera is much better then ip13. but of course google went for a massive camera upgrade with pixel6 thers is a big difference with cam tho with flagship p6. i can shot the moon like i am standing next to it
I had se 2020 than got iPhone 12 was excited about new se 3 but it let me down. Prefer my iPhone 12 and bigger screen. I like the home button though and how it felt in my hand…

I have the iPhone se 2020 the iPhone se 2022 looks like the iPhone se 2020 except for 5G and the A15 bionic chip inside of it my iPhone se 2020 is going on two years I got it on May 28th 2020 the battery health is 90% and it’s still fast after having it for almost two years 🙂 and I think the iPhone se model’s are for the kids/teen’s who’s parents can’t afford or won’t buy them an expensive iPhone 📱 for them to break or lose and for people in other countries that can’t afford the expensive iPhones 📱 and like the older iPhone design I like the home button and Touch ID I’m keeping my iPhone se 2020 for at least two or three more years then I’ll upgrade to ether a iPhone with Face ID or Touch ID depending on what they have in the next two or three years

The 6S is still the best iPhone EVER built. It’s still fast enough today and has a headphone jack. If you’re considering this new SE, spend the extra $270 and get the 13 mini. It’s a beast of a phone with features that make the SE look and feel like exactly what it is- an 8 year old overhyped phone.
Hell no, I upgraded from 6s to SE 2020 because I hate the all screen design, having a home button just feels right. Not to mention they use oled with burn in. If you like the design of 6s,7,8 you will love the SE
I had an 8; “upgraded” to an se 2020- I returned it cuz my 8 did EVERYTHING the se did. The new 2022 has 5g, but that’s it. Buy a used 8, install a new battery and save $250. Now I have 13 mini, which will be the 6s in 6 years. Meaning it’s way ahead of its time in a small form factor and will not be produced anymore. Better get one, it will be the iPhone people will wish for 5 years from now.
Should’ve also made an iPhone SE Plus (like 8 Plus) for that bigger screen and battery, 5G might drain the battery even with the A15 (unless you turn off 5G and use 4G) I hope Apple makes an iPhone SE based off the 8 Plus but if they don’t then oh well, it’s what I’ve wanted to see ever since the rumors of an SE Plus came out.
everyone is a tech geek here looking at it from a consumer standpoint that doesn’t know about tech this is actually a good phone it has 5g and if your coming from an iphone you can get it at a reduced price which is a huge plus. overall i think it’s a good idea but i feel like the only thing that will put people off is the design other then that it’s fine

i bought a iphone 7 128g for $90 and replace the battery, now it's a 1 charge can use 2 days phone :D i'm happy with it, if they put night mode in the 3rd se i'll probly switch.
This is one of the most underwhelming Apple products I have seen in the last several years. Everything besides the chip feels redundant and too similar to the last SE model.
you aren’t the target market of it then my partner has his Ip 13 PM and yet he still has IpSE2020 because it is handy and it helps him alot especially when he is on his business trips, this phone is for people who wants a reliable phone not a fancy one
Foremost I'll never buy an iphone and I'm not an apple fan. But i really like the concept of small form factor, fingerprint sensor (which is actually more reliable than face ID and more convenient) and most important it doesn't have notch and for people complaining that the display isn't OLED, just think that there are much more than pure black, color accuracy, HDR, pixel density white balance brightness and so on. Personally ill never buy a phone with notch, hole punch and no 3.5 mm jack.And if you think that i don't have much choose let be clear Sony makes phones with 4k HDR 120hz display 3.5mm jack and no hole punch/ notch iPhone SE 3 too
Battery and screen are still trash honestly how people can get over it? Had an iPhone 11 the screen was a disaster for me coming from Android phones immediately switched to 12 and it was much better but I still came back to Android. It just works better imo

better off getting pixel5a with the google-fi deal its only 299 but the design is good looking the battery life is amazing. small sized the camera is much better then ip13. but of course google went for a massive camera upgrade with pixel6 thers is a big difference with cam tho with flagship p6. i can shot the moon like i am standing next to it
I had se 2020 than got iPhone 12 was excited about new se 3 but it let me down. Prefer my iPhone 12 and bigger screen. I like the home button though and how it felt in my hand…

I have the iPhone se 2020 the iPhone se 2022 looks like the iPhone se 2020 except for 5G and the A15 bionic chip inside of it my iPhone se 2020 is going on two years I got it on May 28th 2020 the battery health is 90% and it’s still fast after having it for almost two years 🙂 and I think the iPhone se model’s are for the kids/teen’s who’s parents can’t afford or won’t buy them an expensive iPhone 📱 for them to break or lose and for people in other countries that can’t afford the expensive iPhones 📱 and like the older iPhone design I like the home button and Touch ID I’m keeping my iPhone se 2020 for at least two or three more years then I’ll upgrade to ether a iPhone with Face ID or Touch ID depending on what they have in the next two or three years

I had the 2nd Gen SE it was great but the battery life was terrible like 4 hours long or 5 and obviously the size just tiny.
The 6S is still the best iPhone EVER built. It’s still fast enough today and has a headphone jack.
If you’re considering this new SE, spend the extra $270 and get the 13 mini. It’s a beast of a phone with features that make the SE look and feel like exactly what it is- an 8 year old overhyped phone.
Hell no, I upgraded from 6s to SE 2020 because I hate the all screen design, having a home button just feels right. Not to mention they use oled with burn in.
If you like the design of 6s,7,8 you will love the SE
I had an 8; “upgraded” to an se 2020- I returned it cuz my 8 did EVERYTHING the se did. The new 2022 has 5g, but that’s it. Buy a used 8, install a new battery and save $250.
Now I have 13 mini, which will be the 6s in 6 years. Meaning it’s way ahead of its time in a small form factor and will not be produced anymore. Better get one, it will be the iPhone people will wish for 5 years from now.

Should’ve also made an iPhone SE Plus (like 8 Plus) for that bigger screen and battery, 5G might drain the battery even with the A15 (unless you turn off 5G and use 4G) I hope Apple makes an iPhone SE based off the 8 Plus but if they don’t then oh well, it’s what I’ve wanted to see ever since the rumors of an SE Plus came out.

night mode is only a software thing. google invented night mode and everyone copied yrs later but they even updated night mode on pixel1 yrs later

Foremost I'll never buy an iphone and I'm not an apple fan. But i really like the concept of small form factor, fingerprint sensor (which is actually more reliable than face ID and more convenient) and most important it doesn't have notch and for people complaining that the display isn't OLED, just think that there are much more than pure black, color accuracy, HDR, pixel density white balance brightness and so on. Personally ill never buy a phone with notch, hole punch and no 3.5 mm jack.And if you think that i don't have much choose let be clear Sony makes phones with 4k HDR 120hz display 3.5mm jack and no hole punch/ notch iPhone SE 3 too

Battery and screen are still trash honestly how people can get over it? Had an iPhone 11 the screen was a disaster for me coming from Android phones immediately switched to 12 and it was much better but I still came back to Android. It just works better imo
