My ex-collegaue when who was working with me in a BPO we joined together. I asked what's his previous salary and why he left previous company. Our company payed way below what he was earning in byjus and he was quite good in his job too. First time he answered due to work pessure and higher sales target, so he left byjus. After few months he opened and shared, how predatorily company sale tactics. From day 1 they were taught to target students as useless, not fit, not promising, cannot compete in todays world. Even if the kid knows the answer, when asked suddenly students get offcaught and struggle to answer or don't answer and that was their trump card. In one of his counselling session one of the parent slapped his child for not answering one question right in front of him.
He felt bad after that and so he decided to leave.
Targeting parents with words like 'you are engineer/doctor but your son will not even become janitor in his current condition'. Luckily here in this case, the parent took the blow. That father saw through their farce.

If the business is ethically wrong, what about this counsellor and all other employees who were ethically wrong as well? If an employee can do an ethically wrong job for his small needs, a big shot can obviously do the same for his big needs.
Don't always blame only the businesses and owners. Every employee until the very last level is part of this scam and destroyed many Indian middle class families, humiliated young kids in front of their parents, destroyed their confidence and spoiled the kids' lives.

Harsha, your father is a great wise man. He's getting good school education for you. Moreover, he's not falling a prey to 'money hungers' like Byjus. I am sure that with time you'll grow into a responsible human being.
He mentioned about Diksha app. He mentioned about 8hrs in school in comparison to 30 minutes of Byjus. Very intelligently he mentioned about value of school certificates (global acceptance & in job scenario). Because he is a responsible father he must be a responsible citizen & a responsible teacher. Whereas these self proclaimed “professional” councillor and “expert” sales person stooped the lowest they could go.
Appreciate your hard work Pradeep. It’s really disheartening to see these companies try to make fools of the middle and lower class folks, for stupid offline courses, you can find thousands of videos on TH-cam, which is also offline, and can be watched anytime, any number of times.
On one hand I feel great that the company went bankrupt, but on the hand I feel sad for the parents who lost their hard earned money.

If you start your preparation from Grade 6, trust me, you’ll be frustrated and saturated by the time you get grade 12… Show your kids interesting stuff and some simple experiments if you want to increase their curiosity… Take them to national science center or other science museums in your district… Explain them how natural phenomena works (in simple terms)… Show them discovery channel, Nat Geo or History Channel… Teach your kid science not for a stupid competitive exam, but to increase their curiosity… Also, don’t force them to study Science or Math… Don’t force them to study advanced stuff, they have their whole life to learn it… If they are interested in other stuff, let them explore it… I get frustrated when I see pitches like these…

The question he himself asked why plants should not be kept inside , his answer to that was not complete/wrong.
The answer lies in respiration and photosynthesis both, during daytime plants respire and exhale Carbon dioxide, plants do photosynthesis and give oxygen
It is during night time photosynthesis is not possible due to absence of light hence no oxygen , but respiration by plant is still going on and plant is exhaling carbon dioxide like daytime.
      Summary:
Daytime - oxygen(by photosynthesis )and carbon dioxide(respiration )both are given by plant
Night time- only carbon dioxide (bcs of respiration only)

My friend who used to work in Byjus used to trick poor father and his son with stupid questions. Some of these parents are so much in poverty, they used to spend more than half of their salary for Byjus believing their child is getting good education. Just think about the money they spent on Indian cricket team and for Messi. Education company sponsoring sports team is the biggest red flag. He could have built free schools for underprivileged kids or gave away free books.

This byjus dude came and he knew our struggles but still he was trying his best to sell a lakh rupees course to a kid studying in 8th class. And he almost convinced my mom to buy the course on emi. But my grandparents interfered and then we never took his call. We just dodged a bullet. Thank god this scummy company has failed. And i hope it never gets back up. Thank you for your support. I wish the government had taken stricter action against edtech companies selling long-term courses when the issue first came to light.
Even now, I hope this video reaches a wider audience, as we can only imagine how many underprivileged families are still burdened with EMIs for these courses, even after the company has ceased operations.
Sad to see that govt is not even trying to look into this issue. Like over one lakh families must be waiting for their refunds, thousands of them would be from really humble background as shown in the pictures at the end of the video and nobody is talking about it. It's not even an issue for mass media. When I initially raised the issue, media ignored that because they were getting advertisement budget from byjus and now when they started writing about it they are just focused on the financials and bcci money which got stuck, they are still not doing anything about the families. Its so bizzare that so many people were fooled and yet the entire system just let it happen and now wants to forget about it like it never happened.

My father was clever and didnt let me join as he has less money. I even had fights with my father for not joining in Byjus. Now i realize my father made a good decision.

The downfall of Byjus started when Whitehat Jr sued Pradeep Poonia and Anniruddha Malpani and put a gag order on them. Malpani is a rich person but Poonia risked everything to fight for what is right. We are lucky to be living with such Yog Purush. Saved so many families and children's lives. Karma will bequeath you with more than you can house.

    • @salmankhanhandsome
      @salmankhanhandsome หลายเดือนก่อน +4

He is just an actor and a brand ambassador for that educational startup.
Being an brand ambassador for educational startup isn't a crime.
      He just did his job.
If srk is wrong then blame even AMITABH BACHCHAN SIR for his advertisement promising kids a chance to be on JUNIOR KBC
He isn't involved in any form of byjus business.Business is solely responsible for it's business.
If Sachin,Ganguly, rahul Dravid act for Pepsi ad are they responsible for we drinking unhealthy full of sugar content potentially diabetes causing Pepsi?
Srk did just act in educational startup app like byjus If company is like that what can He do for it ?Srk is not even investor of the company as far as I know.
It is different that byjus has been an unethical business practicing company with toxic workculture.I myself I have given byjus interview thrice. The one who introduced byjus to me is a well know person I'm sure poonia bhai knows the person well.

@salmankhanhandsome dude, so why did everyone start questioniong Akshay Kumar for doing ad related to vimal?SRK is a very big name also he is not doing it for free he is getting money. Consider you also a famous person and ask you to become a brand ambassador of my company that is into IT solutions and then I slap your face everywhere and start scamming people then that should not affect you?
The thing you talked about Amitabh Bachchan related to kids, well I want to put a little light on that they had hold a jr kbc after the campaign you can also do a little TH-cam search. If KBC didn't had that then Amitabh Bachchan would had to come on news media and maybe hold press conference and he would had asked for forgiveness and also would had told that it was not his fault.
Grow up that's what I can say to you

@anittas224 cause he is still the ambassador of the brand and also comes in advance whereas none of the cricket team associate themselves with them or show logo anywhere. Also they had to show byjus logo cause they had invested money heavily

@@handsomejack8259 of course, he was literally shouting and abusing a kid and his parent. "30 rupee knowledge" that is the wordplay he is using. And yes, if husband and wife are shouting, they are abusing in front of the child. Secondly, the guy is not a relative or closed by to shout at someone when he is the one try to sell. He is literally abusing customers and giving guild trip. My blood is boiling right now, man If this guy meets me in person, i will tell him what is abusing in real.

My god. These people and their audacity. I still remember my time at Byjus vividly. I joined as a BDM in 2017. The whole was to guilt trip the parents, induce fear about their child's education/future and force them to make a purchase. I quit in 5 months.
