Rudi Rennkamel can u upload your building on steam workshop as footprint, because i think the building system in this game seem so complicated for me, pardon for a zoo tycoon player:)

I wish they made building parts ALL optionally attached to a grid and repositionable on the grid, so they just maintain a set snap distance from one another. As well as having the ability to scale in any axis. For walls, floors, planks and any other repeating item, they need to be like paths and walls. Just having end caps with an expandable center.
I also wish paths could be optionally edited like walls. Drag and move edges which optionally auto-bend or just connect with straight contours.
They have plenty of room for advancement and reduced redundancy. Half these 5K builds should only be about 1K in scalable parts. One single improvement that would speed-up everyone's games.
You don't need to research the later levels of the themes, those only unlock a bunch of premade blueprints. Once you unlock the first level, you've got all the pieces.

As far as I can tell, yeah. I couldn't find anything unlocked besides blueprints once I researched the followup levels.

I like the first glass wall more that the one you used at the end, but it is a wonderful exibit as always. :-) My favorite exibit animal is the frog.
I have a zoo which literally only has two animal types. An exhibit with rattlesnakes and a habitat with tortoises. All research for parts and diseases was completed with three vets and two mechanics. Walls made of info-boards and donation buckets, one burger stall, one drink stall and souvineers give me plenty of money to build a mega-zoo... But I love the simplicity of my mini-zoo. It would be a micro-zoo, but the game complains if there isn't at-least one habitat in the zoo.
Within no time, you can get perfect breeders for tons of eco-points and extra money, from nearly nothing.
Maybe I'll turn the rest of the zoo into an open safari ride. Just need to find tons of animals that won't kill one another in the "wild".

Looks amazing rudi! Im working on my own reptile house that includes gharials and tortoises but its for sure not beating this one!

I am excited for the game to release so I can get some of your(and others like Lady, silv, Jonti"s) designs from the workshop. I can't build anything to save my life. LOL I really like the "old zoo" look. I grew up going to the Brookfield zoo in Illinois. If you have not seen it, see if you can find some old pictures from it. You walked in and it had this amazing sight line of the mountain animals. And the buildings are the classic stone ones. Thanks for all of your videos.

I have almost no mecabic research because of this bug... 😡
i had a problem with the research bug also. My fix for it was making some extra workshops and hire mechanics that only have a working zone in these new workshops and a staf room close together this way u can keep researching. I hope this is of use to u

I find it strange people have these amazing zoos already and the star ratings as far as the game is concerned sits around 2-3.

Do nyou actually check pictures of zoo's or other like examples when to get inspiration when you build things? Because i cant do this stuff without constantly looking at a example picture. Im very bad at drawing to lol.
I look at them beforehand but not while. I only need then as initial inspiration. Sometimes I look for details later

I dont get animals Anymore ... again XD I buyed some and wanted to get some Lions but Suddently the Zookeepers are not doing Anything besides put the Box before the Door and leave
So weird, all these issues. Hope they have a fix soon :) Don´t give up!
@@RudiRennkamel I think I have found the reason but its strange I put my Lion in a other enclosure and there he went. But he strangely never goes to this one enclosure but the other Workers work like normal hmmm ...... strange
