@@DeLadysigner I've had multiple people tell me that my design skills are improving, but I'm not there yet.
You never know unless you try. In the fist contest Roomtogrow entered she barely made the top 10, and now look at her being in 3rd place. Just give it a try and see how it goes.
I've literally not played the game in 12 days because I found DeLadysigner, videos like this and the subreddit and now the idea of going on the game, knowing how little I can create compared to these people, is so damn daunting.
for winner 4 - it was cool how the lower level had viewing panels for the underwater exhibit that surrounded the outside of the zoo
I can't even comprehend how some how these were created with the in-game mechanics and limitations. Especially that second one. Well done everyone, they look all look so beautiful and detailed!

first place is downright inspiring. i love how as you walk through the building it feels like you're going from the caves and roots and at beginning and then you move up throught the canopy. its truly ingenious.

My play style doesn't resemble this. I've got a pig pen. I put warthogs into a fenced area and let them breed in an uncontrolled manner. Then I expanded my exhibit by creating a large meadow with a lake for them and moved them over there. I also have a couple Pangolins. Last time I played Planet Zoo I felt accomplished because I figured out how to place a water filter and rotate a picnic bench.
Surprised that Oasis Heights one didn’t rank higher tbh! Still very impressed by all these builds! Really wish the game would come to console so I could make some amazing builds like these (hopefully)

Third place, YEEESSS, love the use of the tropical wall paper. The rope door hanging is too cool and creative. Glass exhibits looks awesome.
19:01 I think what they meant by the stage area was when your teaching about something you can put the animal (say tortoise) down in there so the viewers can see what it is like
Number 2 and Number 1 were honestly the only entries I liked, as they actually the capture the essence of a reptile house to me. Especially how number 1 goes out of its way to make the exhibit animals part of the building instead of it feeling like they just thrown in. The signage, and how they weren't just crammed together really makes it feel like the zoo is trying to showcase them just as much as the habitat animals, much like how an actual zoo would treat these smaller animals.
#2 reminds me so much of the Herpetarium at the St. Louis Zoo. Cool!
I remember looking at the other entries and realize that I need more work, congrats to all winners and the participants in the contest!

Your video somehow made it into my recommendations, glad I clicked. Super fun series I like the concept, I love looking at talented people's effort. This is the second video I've watched, and I'm impressed, good content, concept, and narration. What would be fun if you're interested in ideas would be getting first place to join you in narration, id love to hear their journey of making some of these pieces. Once again, I enjoy what you're doing here, I think I'll stick around. (Btw, first place was phenomenal, great job. )
Another third place winner, really love the open design with roof. Indoor and outdoor is hard to do and make it look right. This is great inspiration.
My favorite is the Classic Reptile House by Sartiria, i just like the classic look and that photo booth is just a bit extra.
Honestly though, all the entries were pretty great.

Fourth place love the entrance and walk over water beautifully decorated. I go light on ivy plant, but Yes, you have to use vines elaborately or they will not stand out.
WOW such phenomenal builds! They should all be joint firsts.... I would not be able to pick a No.
Each has such amazing architecture and/or so many levels. Everything looks so polished and professional. Well if I really really had to choose, 1st place would go to Tobecontinued for the amazing exterior design. The placement of all those wood pieces to create that structure is so perfect. Sartirias classic design is so reminiscent of actual museums and Stately Houses I have visited. It is superb!. Pugums African/Chinese blend of building styles works so well. Asneds Armadillo roof.... wow another stunning piece of architecture!. Rootogrow has an amazing irregular angles to create a really eye catching outer building, the interior is so spacious it allows the peeps to flow and then you emerge into the beautiful glass house. juriA's beautiful building set in the midst of the water looks so good then you pass inside and you look at the exhibits and it is very hard to see where the exhibit ends... so clever. I was also wondering how I had missed those tortoise "seats" in the library area.Another clever use of pieces that had me fooled. Piipos Tails n Scales Oasis made me think of Scandinavian countries, another eye catching building design with an excellent flow of Peeps through the two buildings inside of which feels very bright and airy and uplifting.
I am in awe of all these very talented people..... the whole video had me oooing and aahing from start to finish!

asned's build reminds me of the krugerwildtuin here in africa nearby lower sabie river! there's a little restaurant where you could eat at and look over the river to watch the steenbokkies, elephants, giraffes and impala while you did so! this is amazing!

I'm an architect and just in awe with the first winner.... this person not only master the architecture knowledge of the facade and the secondary skin of the building, but also the lighting technique... great! I'm so mesmerized!!!
