Another interesting video Chris. Great to see the Bunnymen, one of the best live bands I have ever seen, delighted and surprised to see The Crusaders as that is right up my street although I haven't got that album yet (on my list though). I was a classmate of Dennis Greaves' from Nine Below Zero's cousin, he was my best mate in junior school and I remember him lending the album in senior school as he was a bit of a celeb having a cousin who had made a record. My favourite though is the David Crosby. Alas I only have it on cd but it is one of my favourite albums. I was sharing a flat with a mate in the late 90's and we played that album and all the other Crosby, Stills and Nash combinations and solo records, plus The Byrds almost constantly for about a year. It has a very special place in my heart and Traction In The Rain is a masterpiece in my opinion. It is good to go back to stuff you haven't played for ages, something I have been doing lately with my Blue Note and Prestige jazz albums. Look forward to the next one. Cheers.

Really enjoyed this Chris. Lot of LPs, in fact lots of bands, I’m not familiar with but with give them all a try. I had my hands on the Crusaders album you talk about the other week but the condition of the cover let it down. The production on most of the Crusaders albums is first rate so will look forward to buying this one in the near future. Alex Harvey was one of my favourite bands/performers in my late teens. “Framed” was much more bluesy than the later stuff as they developed into the rock pantomime band. His is a great story and someone who we lost much too soon. Any road up thanks again for this great video. Give me a week to try out a few of these albums and then do another 10 perhaps? Cheers.

The Pop Group's debut album was called 'Y'' on the Radar label. A classic Bristol alternative band. I recommend the single 'Beyond Good and Evil' (which you probably already know)."it has been said "thier music is as chaotic and meaningless as the Universe we live in".

I often overlook albums as some have a tendency to 'stick' together in the racks. However last week I refound the punk funkers The Higsons... ( checkout the song Conspiracy) good albums!

@@thevinylorchard I foolishly back in the late 70's bought the Rolling Stone record guide the red cover! Hatred of anything different Kate Bush compared to a vacuum cleaner etc! I digress they hated this Dictators album! Oh I bought a later edition of Rolling Stone record guide hilarious as this time as they found out Springsteen was on the album it got 4 stars and was classed as a good album! And Kate Bush was now up there with Peter Gabriel! Never really liked Rolling Stone magazine! It was Sounds for me 😆

Stumbled across this video, and glad I did. I always wanted to like the David Crosby album: I love CSN&Y, and there are members of the Grateful Dead here too, which is an inestimable plus point in my book. But the album is just a bit dreary and self-indulgent really.
