I think we must go to CS Lewis to answer your Q. -- based on God spoke to peoples everywhere but in these last times He has spoken through His son, So Lewis said -- if the other Religions, Buddhism, Hinduism were not knocking at the truth, even may be 99 % (not quoting verbatim) then there would be no Christianity. Christianity is the fullness of the truth -- is the gist of what he meant
As a Protestant, I find that my belief in God has objective and subjective aspects. I know i have a relationship with God. But how can i objectively say that i couldn't find that in Catholicism, with the JWs or other religions? Jesus is the greatest teacher, and an other-centric faith based on love and forgiveness must be right, in my view ... 1 Corinthians 13 is just true!! But how can i objectively query my beliefs? This is unclear
In economics, it is definitely appropriate to dismiss someone who says "X theory is THE correct economic theory." It's like science, a theory that can be disproven, and which is not correct in every context

Also in defense of the Jewish Rabbi whom Bishop Barron quoted in Chicago, fr this Jewish gent's historical perspective, genocide goes back MUCH further than the Holocaust of Hitler. The Spanish Inquisition, the dispelling of Jews fr England earlier, the Russian programs among others, all incited by "Christians of some stripe" who incited politically. So he's not, imho, being just argumentative to end discussion. Of course one can say that Jesus was killed w/ support of Jews,(usual argument against Jewish people) but so did Romans have a heavy hand in decision & execution. So then, what is our excuse?

They are forbidden to be appointed to public offices.” The Council is viewed by medievalists as both opening up many reforms, and as enforcing intolerance in European society, both to heretics and Jews, and thus playing a role in the development of systemic European antisemitism.
