Thats a badass set up and looks to be exactly what you want a switch barrel set up to do. Ive been eyeballing that same chassis and trigger. How does the trigger break at the second stage? My Geissele 2 Stage in my AR is very crisp compared to the 2 Stage Calvin Elite Timney i have in one of my rifles. Im looking for the best 2 Stage in a bolt gun, Rem 700, i can get. Hey switch. I have a blueprinted 700 switch barrel in .338 WM and 7mm Mag but I have the barrels indexed and an action wrench for swapping them. I have never done it myself though. I do have a 20 MOA NF rail on the rifle and a NF 5.5-22x56 scope on it, and have another scope I could use for the second barrel, but I can't understand how you can take the barrel off by hand. Is the headspacing not effected? I would love to be able to yank barrels off by hand like that. Can you explain how you set those up?
Yeah, pretty sick right? It's gotta be pretty much headspaced perfectly, probably through material removal at the tenon, although I'm not sure. there could be some proprietary voodoo going on
Yep! My smith specializes in switch barrel setups, but more for his custom big-bore safari style rifles. He can get this kind of repeatability on those, so I asked about doing that setup for the long range build he was doing for me I had pulled the barrel off before doing the @longrangeshootersofutah 1mile milk jug challenge as well th-cam.com/video/LGpoWDQOqls/w-d-xo.html
Custom rifles are very different from their off the shelf brothers. My rifle only fits hand tight,. when the barrel meets the receiver that is it. It does not go any further it just stops.
I don't understand the purpose of these videos. Are you making Switch Barrel Rifles? Are you promoting a company or gunsmith that makes them? I don't get the purpose for showing a tutorial for something that doesn't show the source to obtain. What am I missing, that is the reason for videos of you shooting?

Just to be clear the action wrench was custom made by my smith to fit inside the action.
A bit confused. Aren’t you supposed tighten barrel to specs and not hand right and used go and no go gauge ?
