Jason... hope it's alright to share this with you. You mentioned putting g feed at the base of a tree to root up. When I was a boy, my grandpa cleared 20 acres of trees. Instead of bringing in a bull dozer in to dig stumps out, he planted rutabaga in the roots of the stumps. He turned his hogs into the field in the fall. By December, the pigs had dug up all them stumps. All he did was hook the tractor on to the stumps and pulled them to the burning pile.

I really like how you've got your own style Jason, getting a mini truck in stead of things everybody else is getting, because it works best for you. And I think it's great how you show stuff like this whole process of figuring out a good way to hang up the winch and sharing the stuff you run into
Thank you for making these movies, keep growing food and building stuff!

That hoist worked out pretty good. Looks like it will be great for future cow processing too, and now it's set further back and out of the weather.
We did your online chicken course, it's been invaluable as we grow our flock and deal with the excess roosters. We've got our first feeder pigs going now, so I'm pretty sure we will need an equally valuable resource for them, too.

I know what you mean. I was trying to pump water out of our well and the dog bone I was using wasn't 240 so it wouldn't pull water out. So I called a well service to come assist me and he had to take his cord and 50 amp plug- in and hard wire it into the breaker box to fit my generator. Praise the LORD . My husband is a OTR truck driver so not always here to help me.
