Lovely gushing commentary, but it's not a video intended to be very informative about the plant. Some interesting points are that this is not really a crocus, it's in the lily family, though it is commonly referred to as a "crocus" or even as the autumnal saffron crocus. But beware, this is not the real saffron crocus that produces actual edible saffron. In fact, this plant is extremely poisonous. At least one person even used it for suicide; but death can take 3 days of horrible symptoms. The leaves die down in the spring and the plant is dormant (meaning its corms; they aren't bulbs) until the blossoms emerge in September or so. A corm is a swollen stem base that the plant uses for storage.
