This worked! I have a crazy expensive grill that was already here at the house when i bought it. I was ready to go buy a new regulator and this saved me a trip for that and to get new tanks. Thanks so much. Everyone please pay it forward!
You don’t have to disconnect the tank or even wait a min. All you have to do is turn the tank off and then turn on one of your burners for a couple of seconds to release any pressure that may be in the line. Then just make sure all your burners are set to off before you turn the tank on. Open the tank valve slowly and you’ll be good to go. This can also happen when you open your tank too quickly. It’s very common problem especially with a new or full tanks.

Aha! Eureka! I cannot thank you enough! What an easy fix. So turn off tank every time before turning off grill knobs. Then turn tank back SLOWLY a quarter turn then all the way to reset that ball valve. Very useful information. I could not figure out why my Weber portable gas grill became so weak that meat stuck to the grill and I lost half my food this way. Great tip!
My tank was 2/3 full but low flame on the grill. Disconnected the hose from tank, reconnected and S L O W L Y turned tank on first. Then BBQ burner next and it lit up full flames! Super simple and worked awesomely! Asked a few ppl first, but they were clueless, but the ORACLE has all the answers as usual. Will remember to always turn the gas on/off slowly at the tank first.

Interesting. I just had a low flame problem which [I believe] stemmed from running the tank empty during my last cook. I dont know that Ive ever ran a tank dry tbh, usually have a good radar for that. Ive turned off the burners, usually leaving the tank open, for 30 years and never had this issue. Anyway, fix was the same here except I did disconnect the tank just to verify the fitting was seated, etc. Good concise vid. I was smoking ribs so my max 275 wasnt a problem today anyhow. 😊

They take everything apart and painstakingly clean everything, then turn on the gas in the correct order and, voila! Nope! It's easier than that.

Best low flame fix , I was turning on the tank to fast to reset it. Now open the tank slowly then the grills. Thank you.

I was going absolutely mad before I tried this. Cooking burgers took 40 min! I thought my tank was just empty.
