My favorite part about this whole series is that there are probably people watching it thinking that these guys have such a active imagination, when it's actually a historically accurate recounting every step of the way.
Pretty much. Well, aside from the cauldron one, lucked out there and went along the side. And a few were intentional on my part, like the first time I was Death Blighted. But the rest? Yup, those happened.
We all know that each and every death in this video is the deaths we ourselves have experienced too Edit:Ok for those who say not all deaths I get it,not exactly every single death but you know what I'm trying to say. Also thank you for the likes, first time being famous.
the thing is, the lobsters bumps a crab. I think its because crabs are rather easy to kill (especially on horseback) and the lobsters could take out some revenge for his friend. i dont know if it was nerfed somehow but if you swiftly close the distance, lobsters are not so hard either. (died to the ones in the sewerage a few times though, too big!)
@@jgkitarel but you can go through farum azula without killing placidusax, maliketh is mandatory one. So yeah, in my own playthrough I didn't fight him
@@adamssp Was going to say the same thing myself. First read it as "years" because my brain autocorrected it, but even still, "ages"? A year isn't even close to a single age.
Watching the new players of the soul game, step by step from every trap and surrounded by assault and death, to complain about the unfairness of the mechanism shouting, and finally in a thousand times in the death to climb out a way to live. This is the most wonderful entertainment for veteran soul players, hahaha
If this isn't the perfect example on insane creativity then idk what is. The best part has to be how I can recognise 70% these locations/enemies in game
Holy cow, this makes you realize how much the guy has suffered to reach Farum Azula. There are some pretty brutal deaths in the video (the shotgun bear one in the entry to the capital was always the best one. The frenzied exploding head is amazing too, and when the guy ventures under the capital). Imagine the deaths on the End Game portion lol
The awp from CS to Jenova's theme and smash bros melee etc... all of these combine tout your awsome work bring boths joy and fun to a lot of us. Thank you.
The funny thing is every single one of these deaths is instantly recognizable and 90% of players have experienced each unique areas death mechanics shown here😂
This makes me so happy. Not sure how you got my entire playthrough on there but dammit you did. The blade clipping through the stone wall did it for me.
Love how you can tell which death sequences were their favorites because they included either the lead-up or a few seconds after. Turns out, they were some of my favorites too. The two tree cavalry, then the gargoyle, and the rune bear all at once, there's no death better conveyed than this.
I said it once and i'm gonna say it again. The gargoyle spinning the twinblade scene was just perfect.
Followed by Shotgun Bear for the double tap.
@@Brawndo2008 Bro double tap shotgun bear is best.
@@jeremiahkivi4256 Shotgun Bear is the best.

gave me star wars kid flashbacks
The gargoyles in this game are scary in a funny way to me, they look so weird but they move like a angry refrigerator on meth.
It's amazing how recognisible all of these moments are from our own playthroughs.
Carbot really captures it well.
And how hilarious it stays after all this time.
Every death I'm like: "ooh... I know this place. It happened to me!"
Every. Single. Death
Someone who has never seen another CarbotAnimations Elder Ring video could watch this one alone and recognize every moment shown in some way.
That’s definitely a huge reason why it’s so funny to me. Not every death happened to me but it was like 90% of them
I thought it was about me.
My favorite part about this whole series is that there are probably people watching it thinking that these guys have such a active imagination, when it's actually a historically accurate recounting every step of the way.
Probably me... Until i tried to play it. I did a great job at painting the halls red in the tutorial stage.
Bro I promise it’s no exaggeration 😭😭😭 Elden Ring is Ruthless
Carbot really recaptures the spirit of games.
This is a documentary😂
So many of these exact deaths happened to me
Its the rolling into the gravestone manically screaming for their life for me, I feel that in my soul 😂
Just incredible how such a simple cartoon captures the sheer horror of that moment.
The majority of my deaths have got to be from trying to roll away and getting stuck on some bs.
It's the 2 6arm skeleton shooting arrows at you non stop
When that happens to you know you are fucked but you keep rolling
In your dark soul...
Me: "I absolutely felt that death..."
Friend: "Which one?"
Me: "Yes..."
E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E-!
That's the only accurate reply

It’s probably just easier not to have any hair to animate.
Oh my GOD! I FORGOT he had hair in the first episode *facepalm*
@@meimeng04 Hm?
If you replay this video a couple of hundred times it actually becomes more accurate to your own first playthrough.
Underrated comment
You would be lucky if it went _this_ well.
Absolutely love that they kept the lobster fist-bump in the montage. 10/10.
Indeed.
The accidentally doing the emote instead of dodging whilst just screaming will always be the best one

I just love all the Diablo sounds they throw in there. Character grunts in those games are always iconic.
It took a comment for me to figure out what it was. It sounded so right I didn't realise it wasn't from ER

Straight up 3 minutes of non stop laughing. Thankyou Carbot. And Miyazaki.
Thank you for the Jenova reference with Rennala! ❤
Can’t wait to see Carbot version of the Malenia fight.

Let's be honest, all these deaths are the milestones of our pleasing moments of this game. Well done Carbot, it's a good sketch of the game.
Poor Guy has been through so much. And he has so much more to go through.

Stress will do that to a Tarnished
The fact that he died so many times. Is the most realistic thing in this series.
I don't know, seems to be fairly low in terms of deaths.
I just realized that carbot started the series with hair, and is now completely bald.

Miyazaki must be proud just because of how good your animation is of his game. Uncanny how well you capture the essence of the game. =)
