Realistically it's actually really useful to have punching bags in front of mirrors so you can keep an eye on your own form. They are usually so heavy that they dont move much unless a really experienced boxer is using a bag that's too light for them, but if they're experienced they wouldnt.

I'm terrified of fires and carbon monoxide stuff. One time our carbon monoxide alarm started beeping and I was terrified until I realized it was just the battery dying.
in that kind of old gyms i always use that beige linoleum with scratches, it suits quite nicely

definitely know the fire alarm struggle. in college we lived in another house than the rest of the students a couple of minutes away because there wasn't enough space so my college had rented rooms for us in the building where the nursing students of the local hospital lived. but that meant that we had different janitors and people to talk to when it came to problems with the building. so some day the fire alarms in my floor started going off and we had to make a bunch of calls to even talk to someone to get that fixed but the worst part was that some rooms were empty so the fire alarm in them would just go off in the middle of the night and you could simply sit around in bed waiting for it to turn off by itself. that was fun. saw a lot of my classmates in their pjs and even one with a half shaven leg during that time.
Am I the only one who didn't notice that she missed daylight savings time until I read the comments?

I made an upstairs to the bar and made that the gym because it’s already a military hangout. Makes my game play a lot easier.

Oh, when you did the landscaping I just remembered, on Mod the Sims website there is a mod of Strangerville plants that have been liberated. So anyone that wants plants from Strangerville, you got your chance now. Oh, while I am thinking of it, a good place to put the pool would be to move the sign to the other side, and put it in the front.

I'm glad they didn't give up one of the lots for a gym. We've got like eight. Nothing annoys me more than them adding more gyms and librarys and lounges.
Had our monoxide detector go off once. Started to panic until i realized my husband had used compressed air near it to clean out a computer tower. All the dust and moisture lingered under the desk, which was where the detector was at the time. Moved it to a more open area and it stopped. When in doubt, always call for help, though.
The fact that the carbon monoxide alarm announces carbon monoxide is very cool because in the event of a carbon monoxide poisoning you're going to be impaired being alerted to the exact danger instead of a vague alarm could be enough to jolt your body into fight or flight mode and stand up out of bed.

This exact same thought crossed my mind, I wanted a military training area, but because the lack of free lots I can't have one. They should just let us have like 5 empty lots per pack to give us more freedom.
don't worry Kayla, the same thing happened to me and my mom. but we had to hunt for the rest of our alarms once the suspected one wasn't the one 'screaming'. it did however scare the heck out of our dog.
One time I was pet sitting for a family with a dog and an African Gray Parrot and their smoke detector battery was low and beeping. And i freaked out bc I didnt want the bird to start imitating the smoke alarm noise but I couldnt find batteries in their house so I went home and got some and changed it. But the bird does now make one really loud high noise like the smoke detector every once in a while

A few weeks ago I kept hearing this weird beeping noise, and I actually thought I was going crazy because I couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from. Turns out the smoke alarm makes a really weird sound when the batteries are dead, and it sounds nothing like an alarm 😂
Our fire alarms never went off when we had our fire. And we always made sure to keep up on the batteries and tested them. After the fire they even tested em and the stupid things worked 😕 luckily no one got hurt. But our kitchen was destroyed and the fire would of ended up in my bedroom if it wasn’t caught, cuz mine was above the kitchen.
I have been obsessed with your sims 3 series. But yeah.

My mom has had enough with our fire alarms, there are only two in the house that we have kept on. All the others went off every other day for no reason. And still even now, once in awhile one of the remaining ones randomly goes off and scares us all half to death.

The smoke detector in my family’s kitchen is so touchy it will go off just from making toast that isn’t even burnt. So whenever it goes off we all just assume someone is cooking and we don’t do anything about it. I never get scared by it because it happens so often that it’s just annoying. I swear of these times it will be a real fire and we’ll die because of it.

Haha yeah the talking alarms freak me out but some of the towns around me require it now as part of the fire code, so all the local stores sell them and we ended up with one and that night my husband was in the basement testing it but I don't realize any of this so this creepy voice starts yelling fire from our basement and I was seriously freaked.

One time I came home with my mom and sister after school, and we could smell gas outside our front door like super badly. Our cat had jumped on the stove and turned the gas on O.o if it wasn’t for a window in the living room being open, my cat and puppy probably would died from the gas exposer :/
