Programming immobilizers and other car electronics is very interesting. It involves working with cutting-edge technology that plays a crucial role in modern vehicle security and functionality.

It's a definitely a money saver, if you know how to do it.

Interesting, this saves thousands of $$$ from going to the dealership and replacing the whole immobilizer module.

I think that you have the power connection hooked up wrong. The manual is worthless, but in the picture of the EEPROM adaptor, the power port is connected to the EEPROM adaptor, not the Xtool X100PRO2.

So what was wrong during your last video that would cause you to get 0000 pin code?

Hey Mrkncolorado. I watched the video again, I don't know - good question. I guess 0000 is actual code stored in chip memory. Could be just chip memory got reset, chip is defective or some skim/sreem reads 0000 by default. Any luck to read another SKIM?

@@PistonShack No, I tried again today. The immobilizer I really need the pin code from has an eeprom with no numbers or markings of any kind. Xtool is no longer responding to inquiries. I think it's funny there are no instructions on how to use this other than a few TH-cam videos.
I'm not happy. I'll be cloning keys instead of adding originals now. Not this in depth for other vehicles...

I have done a bit internet research today, some people say when eeprom reads 0000 or 1111 it could indicate chip circuitry issue or chip no responding to inquires. I have one skim which reads 0000 and some others reads actual pin code.
