I got the exact same truck man it’s that same red, Crew Cab S trim the only difference is it’s just a 4x2. It’s so cool seeing someone with the same truck and even the fact that we’re both in Florida! I hope you enjoy the truck!
I have a 2023 Pro 4x. I'm not convinced intakes work, especially if it's not a true cold air intake. The exhaust sounded great though. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing the results. I do think with the same temperature the gains would have possibly been 5-7 hp better. Z1 advertises their intake to make a max 10hp difference. I’m enjoying my 2023 PRO 4X and plan to add the Z1 intake and a catch can towards the ends of the year. These trucks are a lot of fun, and hopefully Nissan or someone makes a small supercharger for them one day.

I’m sure it would! I’ve considered it a few times. I’m honestly desperately trying to hang on the remaining MPG’s I have left as much as i can 😂😂. Since this video I’ve installed a 6” lift and 35’s…so those MPGs are dwindling quick 😂
Great video. Thanks a lot, just got a 23' pro4x, love it so far. I have heard different dynos can read differently and how does that dyno take into account the larger/heavier tires?
If you never did purchase the intake, do you think you would have upgraded your drop in OEM air filter to something like an oiled K&N drop in filter? Or would you have just stuck with the OEM paper filter? I'm currently debating on whether to switch to an oiled K&N filter because it supposedly offers better air flow. Thanks for all the vids!
Just bought the same exact make/model/color that you have, 3 days ago. Looking forward to making a few minor mods as time/budget allows. Looking forward to sharing some ideas.
@4WDAdventure Yours is a 2022, out of curiosity did you have the transmission reflash /software updates installed? Reason I ask is I've heard of several people having it done and losing power, response and fuel economy. I have a 2022 that I bought used, and it feels like a slug as it's not making the power it should and the mileage is horrible. With the design of this engine it should be way stronger than the older 4.0
@@4wdAdventurz ok thanks. Wonder if the later vins are preprogrammed with it? If so that would explain better than anything the numbers not being as high as expected. Thanks for taking time to share this vid, always good to find out info on our trucks.
I’m sure the tires robbed you of a lot of power. Are those LT or p metric? Either way, the weight difference between the stock tires, and those tires has be tremendous. More rotating mass robs a lot of power.
Does Z1 make plenum spacers for these engines? I think that plus a TB spacer with intake will yield some results but you'd need to compared the HP to dollar ratio to see if its worth it.
I have the Z1 OffRoad performance exhaust. You can hear it just a little at certain RPM’s but 90% of the time in the cab it’s quiet. Here’s the video on that install. th-cam.com/video/s-YA4WXVUtg/w-d-xo.html
Honestly I like the Z1. I think it’s about as good as you’re gonna get. I just don’t think it adds too much power. It ads some, sounds great, and makes it feel a little more peppy but I’m not sure it’s worth the $$...Volant makes a good one too, in my opinion..
@@4wdAdventurz Great video brother! I just bought a 2023 Pro4x and it's getting a K&N cold air intake and the same Z1 catback exhaust you have. I'm very curious about the Z1 Offroad level one tune as well. Definitely share results if you decide to do it!

The bolt on parts are really only effective in conjunction with a tune.
That may be next in the list.🤔🤔

I may be getting the tune done and redoing this test 🤔🤔🤔. Thanks for watching buddy!
You thought any more about getting the Z1 tune? It's on a decent sale for Black Friday.
I actually did end up getting it a little while back. Here’s that video.

Yes! The temps definitely made a difference. You for sure tell a difference when you drive it. I’d so be down for a supercharger or pro charger.
Yeah!! forced induction kit would be sweet...3.8L super charged V6. little hotrod truck.
Z1 has one coming out
6th gear is the 1:1 ratio and the gear you need to be dynoing the truck in for the correct numbers
can't, will hit limiter
The truck is a 9 speed how can 6th be a 1:1 ? 7,8,9 are over drive ?

Great video. Thanks a lot, just got a 23' pro4x, love it so far. I have heard different dynos can read differently and how does that dyno take into account the larger/heavier tires?
I have no idea. Id imagine the bigger and heavier tires make a big difference on wheel HP.
Just need some LED headlights.
They got done soon after this was filled. That video is also on here

Umm🤔🤔 I probably would've just kept the stock ones if I want going to upgrade the whole instake.
Could you add the pedal commander or fukin tuned next. Would really be interested in seeing the change of throttle response.
Pedal commander doesn’t do anything other than effect throttle response you’ll get more out of a Z1 tune exhaust and intake.

Forget the numbers. How do you feel the truck? How it rides? I feel like they have plenty of power stock.

Yes. Going into this new tires would take power. I’m OK with that.
I've seen a guy Dyno before and after tires and he lost 50hp

Yes. I believe they do. I’m not sure about the throttlebody spacer, but I do know they make an intake manifold spacer.
@@4wdAdventurz I don't believe they make an ims for the 3.8 just for 4.0. I have it on my 2017. Z1 is great.

I would say yes. Mid range RPM mostly
