Another great video Pat. My trailer tongue was shortened before I got it. The previous owner had a low ceiling in his garage. I have a big garage and my wife uses the trailer for storage. LOL
You call them "wing nuts" no they are thumb screws. Nuts are only the the female threaded prats. Now you know. btw use stronger double side tape to hold otherwise yes you do need to "keep fixing" the carpets.
The bed liner over the paint looks terrible. You can get a 3m clear bra installed over any painted surface for a little bit of nothing. Rock chips themselves would look better than that hack job.
I think the trailer's empty weight is about 400 pounds. The car itself should be able to tow up to 1000 pounds. Back when the car was new, if you got the trailer hitch installed, your car's warranty could be voided if you had any problem with the car after towing anything other than the Prowler-specific trailer. That being said, I have seen many other examples of small trailers being towed since then, so the warranty issue was likely just for liability purposes. If you join the POA (prowleronline.com) you can check the discussion board and do a search, as I am sure this topic has come up there before.
Yes the trailer is very hard to back up. I've probably driven at least 2000 miles with the trailer and you learn how to park so that you can drive forward and avoid reverse as much as possible. It's worth the effort if you plan to travel any long distances.

Great video, as for the bolts working loose and falling off, Loctite 242 Threadlocker (blue) works like a charm. Just a drop will do.
