Hi Dale, had a question about this bike. Could you still ride it with a 2.4-2.5 tire? I feel like the 2.8 is nice but it adds much more weight and might just slow me down. Was thinking maybe 2.5 front and 2.4 rear.also, not sure if that would change the bb height to become too low and may there to be more pedal strikes. Let me know what you think, thanks! Great video btw, hope to see more of it soon!
Thank you. A 2.5 would probably be ok, 2.4 might be to far. This is my first time running tires this big but I'm pretty well use to them now. I still need to experiment with air pressures but I'm liking them so far. At first I felt like I wanted to change them to a 2.6, but not so much now. Maybe when it comes time that I need new tires I'll go 2.6, but maybe not. We have a new bike park opening locally next month and I'll be excited to see how they work there. I'll likely set the bike up to perform best at this park. I'm going to some down hill parks this summer and I guess that will be another big test on tires. I think I'll prefer the flowy jump trails. I think I'll post another video of this bike after a few months of riding.
I really want this bike, I'm a hardtail enthusiast and this bike looks confortable to ride and fun!
Nice bike i have the 2019 29er, for sure a great hardtail ! Enjoy 😉
Hi dale im trying to decide between this or the Roscoe 8 what do you think i come from a bmx background like yourself
I have no first hand experience with the Roscoe but I am I enjoying this Commencal. Although I kind of wish I had gotten a large.
@@daledubose3032 thank you Dale im 511 as well thanks for the heads up ill get the large
@@bigrod359 yeah a large in this bike seem similar to a medium in others. Compare the reach in the specs with others.
@@daledubose3032 I will thanks buddy
Sweet rig man!! Does anyone know if the new meta HT have any compliance or do they beat ya up a bit ?
This one seems pretty stiff
Can you run a 29er wheel on that lyrik fork?
What size wheels on this?
I believe 27.5 by 2.6 but might be 2.8
bananas stuff It’s 2.8
What size frame is that?

How tall are you?
About 6ft. I think a large would have fit me better.
