- The META HT AM continues on its own path.
Our research shows that this is the most versatile bike across our entire range.
Enduro, off-road, urban playgrounds or pump track, it’s literally at home everywhere.
We believed in this niche several years ago and since then we’ve become real specialists.
To stay ahead of the curve, we're looking at the little details that make the difference.
On this new version, the seat tube is lowered.
Two advantages:
1) It is now possible to install a longer travel seat post.
2) The choice of size is no longer restricted by a seat tube that’s too high. Which is particularly useful for those who want a longer bike.
For the rest, we’ve tweaked our formula.
A semi-rigid frame allows more pedalling efficiency, a lighter weight and it reduces essential maintenance.
A 150mm or 160mm fork provides comfort and/or safety depending on what you’re riding.
The frame facilitates 27.5 and 29-inch wheels.
27.5 for small and medium sized riders. Or simply for those who prefer increased handling, comfort and grip.
29 for medium and large sized riders. Or for those who favour efficiency, precision and performance.
A first-choice bike for some, a second or third choice for others, the META HT AM is one of those bikes that quite simply makes you want to ride.

I was actually getting optimistic at the beginning about this video not having music haha! still passable, that's true
Unquestionably my favorite bike I have ridden in the past 20+ years of mountain biking. Less maintenance and far less expensive than a full sus with almost no downside due to the dialed geometry. Put it another way: I haven't regretted going back to a hardtail for even one second while riding this bike.

@@callum7059 it's hard to say. It's more expensive but you get a slightly better fork and bigger and better brakes (in my opinion). Also the option to run/change it to a 29er. The San Quentin 2 is cheaper, comes with a dropper and pedals, which the Meta ride version didn't. There's not much between them really. You'd be happy either way. I just wanted something different and got the Meta instead.
i was thinking the same thing. I was about to get a san quentin 3 and then i saw this bike and now i cant decide.
@@drwang699 you'll be happy either way. I think the only difference between them is the wheel base maybe. Also the meta can be changed to 27.5 or 29er I believe. Whereas I'm pretty sure the SQ only 27.5.

Life is busy for me and ride time not as often as it should be. I road my ohlins meta ht today and loved it more today than I have in the past. It is a learning curve for me but every time I get on it I get use to it and understand it better. Such a fun bike for sure.
I love how well balanced the geo is on this bike. Coming from a long slack HT this Commencal is so much more fun!

I just got a new Meta HT AM. It's my first MTB after being a BMXer most of my life. Just the other day, my buddy took me on a trail that seemed a poor choice. The climb out was more of a scrambling/ hiking trail. I joked to my buddy that I'd have needed a trials bike to not have to hike it out that difficult last section.
Well, I guess I need to get out and practice more. Haha
With the Meta HT transmission any upload is made easy! And keep practicing the Enduro, you will meet people with the same madness as you and beautiful places in nature, blessings

@@tvnja Well they have one with a lovely british racing green🤩 I will probably get a Ragley Mmmbop. Its slacker and ppl say the frame bis more supple and not crazy stiff.

Just got the 2020 one such a solid frame its got the stiffness of a carbon frame but the weight of a alloy i love it

I just bought the ohlins version. No ride time yet. I just hope it’s a forgiving bike like my old dj bikes from back in the early 2000’s. I remember my best dirt jumper would take big stairs sets like a champ and dampen vibrations. Trails on the same bike were good only down side was the geo

Got the bike yesterday. They could at least adjust the derailleur because when I took it for a test ride the chain got off and scratched my beautiful red orange paint...
Impossible they are only available for pre-order they are not released yet

@@boych17 I got the "last" year model that from what I see is identical except for the 29" wheels. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that they took like 10 days to ship the bike after receiving the payment... And the derailleur wasn't dialed in, not even close... Nor the rear caliper.... The bike is still awesome.

considering the angle between toptube and seatstays (or how is that called) i think its size L. in size medium its at like 180° (straight tube from rear-axle to headtube).
