What a gorgeous space! There are so many things I love about it...starting off with the fact that it was an average size space that pretty much stayed the same. It is so nice to see inspiration that is doable for many people. The marble on the island (with the decorative edge) is stunning, and the repetition of the stone for the hood really elevates the whole room. I am also in love with the reeded glass and metal doors...they come in a close second to the marble! Honestly, you can see she spent a lot of time really thinking each detail through...now she can enjoy this stunning space for the next 20 years!
This is nice. I love a maximalist house, but my lifestyle has changed. I could compromise with something in between, this would do. Getting rid of bulkheads is a must. I'd rather cabinets reach to the ceiling. Big fan of drawers instead of lower cupboards. Still want a pantry, though.
Love the wall tiles and mixed metals. Veining in marble is nice and subdued, making it tolerable, not hard and in your face. Yes, move out if at all possible during renovation. It's very taxing, to live with.

I am interested in how the kitchen window is finished with no moulding around it and tile right up to edge…..we have just finished a full kitchen Reno but still have back splash, under counter lighting and finishing around the window left to do. Would be interested in any information on the window finishing.
I am redoing my gallery kitchen (due to a fridge waterline flooding.) I am just changing out a black granite countertop and going white (with some veining in it.) I LOVE that sink!! I have Blanko farmhouse sink envy!
