The green on her nose most likely came from mold . I read in a Barbie Bazaar magazine once that most Barbies tend to get that green discoloration in areas like their face and also their ear lobes if they came wearing earings that had metal posts . That magazine article suggested using Formula 409 to remove it from the ears but not to use it on the face because you might damage her face paint .
eucalyptus oil is another great way to remove glue from the dolls heads. it actually breaks down the glue and removes it. rather than just coating it with another product. and if you have patience. you can remove all of the glue from inside the head too.

Some kinds pour out of the bottle, but many simply spray on, which conserves the product since a little goes a long way.
Yes. A lot of people forget the hair is "fabric" and using people hair products won't cut it. I use a mild laundry soap and fabric softener instead of shampoo and conditioner and they turn out WAAAY softer and sleeker. Dawn dish soap takes care of glue hair easier quicker too
A 1:1 coconut oil and baking soda mixture can clean the hair with sticky glue seepage. You just have to wash the hair a few times with soap afterwards to get rid of the coconut oil from the hair as well.

Just watched this excellent video. I have a lovely doll that arrived the ebay seller with a faint scent. I washed her arms and legs and face with a light touch using a cotton pad and St. Ives Oatmeal and Shea body wash. Worked great!!!
You need to mention the “type” of material used for the dolls’ hairs. The stickiness and waxiness is because the doll’s hair is made with Saran (like Saran Wrap). The other material is softer but gets frizzy is “Kenekalon” Both can be boiled but both burn if using a hot curling or flattening iron. There are some good channels on TH-cam that explain it well.

Great tips. I use a Mr clean eraser after the dish soap, got rid of blue stain on a Barbie leg and I'm a fan ever since.

You could try Mr Clean Magic Eraser for the green spot on her nose but I wouldn’t recommend using it on the make up parts because it might rub off
