I love medieval scapini. I wouldn’t of picked this up if it wasn’t there because I had medieval scapini. Maybe I’ll have to compare them both someday. There is a difference of energy I would say.
Great video... thanks for the shout out! I was the person at The Eye that received all the decks, checked all the cards were there, etc. It was a long but rewarding process. I've been doing tarot for decades and discovered decks I never knew. I'm so happy you were able to pick these up!
I used to have the Romeo and Juliette in that box, I traded it a long time ago, but I really enjoyed the deck. I love the 3/Pentacles in that deck. Amazing deal. You really scored. Some of my greatest treasures came from a friend of mine who's mom owns a used book store. I was just telling myself I don't need anymore. 😊 now I am on the hunt on ebay. Love it. Still need my greenie, but it'll come...that's how it works! My favorites... that mini Albano. Yes please. Tarot of the Spirit is an excellent deck. And that little Il Meneghello..sweet! ❤
Shakespeare tarot is a favorite! I finished cleaning it up. My arm is sore lol. I really like it. The cute angel babies. The star and the knight of wands is my favorite. I would have over looked the 3 of pentacles if you didn’t point it out. Hidden gems everywhere. You will most definitely get your greenie! Mini Albano is super cute, I’m going to open it. ❤❤
That is definitely a Scapini deck. I have the Medieval so I never got this one either. I've had several others of those and really enjoyed looking at your extraordinary haul. Thanks!
So interesting to see these vintage decks! You mention a few times that you have 'cleaned the deck up'. How do you do that and what do you use? what is the result? Is it to take stains off?
No stains just dust they are all like new but have dust on them. You can feel the dust. I use paper towel and micro fiber wipes and I wipe them down back and front to each card. Then wrap them in dryer sheets. I just posted a video check it out ☺️
@HoneyLouWilson Tarot of TEETH?? Please... DANTE Alighieri (1265-1321) is the most remarkable medieval Italian author, possibly one of the most remarkable of all times and also worldwide... He wrote the Divina Commedia, a unique literary masterpiece, so the deck may be based on that or other works... I guess you have to do a bit more research....
