Nice! You still need to hear some earlier 4 Seasons! Frankie has an unbelievable very controlled falsetto. You will be amazed… “Sherry” was their first #1 hit in 1962. Also “Dawn” .. “Walk like a man” .. “Let’s hang on” .. “Opus 17” .. “Save it for me” .. “Candy girl” .. “Bye bye baby” .. “Rag doll” and sooo many more. Looking forward to it! 😀
Frankie Valli is an amazing talent and an even better person. My aunt grew up in the same neighborhood as Frankie and everyone in the area always spoke about how he would come back every Christmas and donate tons of money towards gifts for families who were having financial problems and he never wanted it reported. That’s a good guy!!
Born to do it! I can’t imagine Frankie Valli doing anything else. Coming from an Italian family my mother was a huge fan and always playing his albums, they’re my first musical memories. Props to the Four Seasons too 🎼
A fantastic review of an all time fantastic Valli Four Seasons songs. Remember this band had over 60 Billboard Chart hit songs in their career. The song reviewed was by a new Four Seasons band put together by original band members Frankie Valli & Bob Gaudio. It was a great talented lineup. Band member Bob Gaudio was the bands main songwriter. Oh that was the keys and bass on that fantastic part mentioned. Frankie Valli sang the chorus.
Frankie is now 90 years old and still performs concerts with the most recent rendition of the Four Seasons and a separate band. TH-cam has loads of recent concert videos. It amazes me how great he still sounds. He has had an extremely interesting life along with being ultra talented.
I know you’re a very busy man, Shawn, but if you ever get a chance to watch the film Jersey Boys, I know you’ll love the music. It’s the story of The Four Seasons and the actor playing Frankie Valli does his own singing and is fantastic!
excellent harmonies - no autotune. what's not to love ? i remember being a kid when 'sherri baby ' came out and a lot of people laughed - who's laughing now ? frankie and co. were great. that was the bass you heard - nice strong tone.
When I was a senior in high school, I had a buddy by the name of Angel. His sister was a DJ in NYC and always sent him a ton of new music that wouldn't reach our little Wisconsin / Midwest area for months. I went to his place one Saturday afternoon and, as usual, I could hear his music cranking from his bedroom. It was this song. And it was exceptionally loud; louder than he usually played his stereo. I kept knocking and knocking, but he didn't hear me until the song was over. And he was playing the side of the 45 that was the extended disco version, so I sat there for a bit before finally getting him to let me in. This song wouldn't show up on our local Milwaukee and Madison radio stations for another two or three months. This was right at the very beginning of the disco era, and Angel was OBSESSED with it. He found "disco beats" in the weirdest places, such as "Wells Fargo" by Babe Ruth and "Siberian Khatru" by Yes. LMAO! The last I heard from his uncle, he was a coke addicted pimp in Chicago. LOL! Every single time I play this song, I think of Angel.
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, what a top band, they had so many hits you need to go down that rabbit hole for sure. They never had a bad song ever!!!!
I remember when they came out with their first hit - "Sherry". I went to my first dance and they played it there and I danced to it. Always remember that. His name is pronounce Frankie "Valley" (FYI)
Love Frankie! He and the Four Seasons were making hits for decades, from the 60’s to the 80’s. I’d definitely recommend “Walk Like a Man” -iconic! “December 1963” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”. And then if you ever get the chance to see the theater show “Jersey Boys”, do it! You’ll walk out with a smile and be dancing and singing for days!
FRANKIE VALLI - " GREASE " Remastered 12" Version HQ this is the Long Version from 1978 it's Groovy Funky Awesomeness great Drums & Bass too. It's close to 6 min totally awesome 👍😎👍 🎹 🎸
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is the first concert I ever attended back in 1966, I believe. This song is much later and not one of my favorites, but it sounds pretty good. Yes, by the way, it's a 6 string bass.
Great tune. Great group. Been a fan since 1962 with "Sherry". Besides all the great suggestions below, add "Beggin'" which the Seasons did first but which has been covered by quite a few newer groups. Thanks Shawn.
Frankie Valli started out with "The Four Seasons" back in the 60's. They had so many hits together such as "Silence Is Golden", "Sherry", "Rag Doll", "Candy Girl", "Walk Like A Man", "Ronnie", "Dawn", "Let's Hang On!", "Working My Way Back To You", "Big Girls Don't Cry", "I've Got You Under My Skin" etc. When Frankie went out on his own in the 70's, he had the hit songs "My Eyes Adored You" & "Can't Take My Eyes Off You". He also had a hit with the song "Grease" from the movie. Always loved that he was able to sing in a falsetto voice.
React to their original Begging ❤. I can keep going Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons have been doing this since the ‘60s. They have an incredible catalog ❤
I never really cared for the earlier 4 Seasons music (forced to listen to whatever my sisters listened to back then). So, this and December 1963 are my top 2 picks.
GLENN FREY - The Heat Is On (12" Version) 1980s Long Version Unedited Best and Complete including Synths Groovy Bass & Drums+ Sax 🎷 Guitars 🎸 🎹 6 minutes plus of Classic Rockin' Music. Great Vocals from Eagles
Bob Cicone came to our gig in 74 he was thinking of joining us but we we planning to break up so members could do other projects. Bob rejoined The Four Seasons and the rest is history…
Hey Shawn love listening to your reactions you really look like you enjoy good music. I am an aussie girl who also loves all sorts of music but I do love the 60's 70's and 80's music the best!!!!
……if you ever get a chance to see “Jersey Boys” I highly recommend for you to check out at a theatre in your area ! Amazing ❤️ Frankie’s life story put to incredible soundtrack ❤️🔥🎸
I’d love you to do them singing The Night which is a northern soul banger. Northern Soul is a dance craze started in the U.K. in the early 1970’s. They danced to obscure soul music from America. Some of the most well known songs were never hits.
Hello, *Shawn Salvadori* Ever thought about reacting to an all female band that dresses up in maid outfits? Well there is this band out of Japan called *BAND-MAID* and I really think you might enjoy their music cause I really do. Do you mind reacting to their song *REAL EXISTENCE (Official Live Video)* because you only live you get it.... Well I wish you all the best on your channel and hope to see a *BAND-MAID* reaction in the near future. 😊 _The Carrier Pigeons delivering the message of _*_BAND-MAID_*_ to the World_
You should watch the movie “Jersey Boys”, the story of the Four Seasons. Their story is unbelievable and naturally the music is fantastic. Thanks for this. 👏👏🥰
The older I get, the better they sound. They were always on the radio, but not what I primarily listened to .........my loss!
Me too. Now I get to enjoy them like new at 67!!
Same here! With time & good headphones they sound great!
Cheers from a 70 year old prog-rock granny
Yep same here.
I’m 72 been listening since I was 5 love them!
This is a great song, "Oh What a Night" is a good one around this same time. They've been around for a very long time.

He was larger than life in the 60’s. His first big hit was Sherry Baby! “ If someone suggests this song, you gotta play it Shawn!👍👏👏👏♥️
Sherry Baby is great!
I love them! I grew up hearing them on the radio. They ruled the airwaves!

Dawn, Bye Bye Baby, Let's Hang On...IMO, three of the best Frankie Valli songs.
Great group of vocals and , if course, Frankie Valli himself as a solo performer...🎤🎶👍
excellent harmonies - no autotune. what's not to love ? i remember being a kid when 'sherri baby ' came out and a lot of people laughed - who's laughing now ? frankie and co. were great. that was the bass you heard - nice strong tone.
❤Being born in the summer of 1969, I grew up loving all of this great music from the get-go. I wasn't much into kids music, even as a toddler.
i think you would also enjoy my favourite by them....THE NIGHT..... the bass intro is amazeballs.....the song a favourite of the uk's nothern soul era
One of the coolest songs ever recorded imo.

No one could ever take Frankie Valli’s place. His vocals are one of a kind.
Love the smile on your face listening to this. That iswhat the Four Seasons do. Incredible musicians and vocals. Excellent songcrafting
Frankie Valli had such an incredible voice They were pumping out hit songs at one point

Love this song...
Also love their cover of Silence Is Golden
Silence Is Golden was actually written by the 4 Seasons team.
Tremelos version the best though.
@@waltw4537 Understood. I prefer the Tremelos version.
@@LouieLouie3 matter of opinion
@waltw4537 correct...was their song...not a cover. Still a beautiful fave...
Thank you 🙂
YES YES YES. Gorgeous, I love them.
Silver Star is fab; the drummer sings lead and I had the biggest crush on him!
Another song of Frankie’s to check out from the mid-‘70s is "Swearin’ to God." So good.
Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is the first concert I ever attended back in 1966, I believe. This song is much later and not one of my favorites, but it sounds pretty good. Yes, by the way, it's a 6 string bass.
💖💖💖 Try "Sherry", "My Eyes Adored You", "Big Girls Don't Cry", "Rag Doll" and "Grease".

Best fade in ever.
Thanks so much for continuing to cover the music of my youth. Such beautiful memories flood back when I hear these tunes.
Was a teen in the 70s this group really got to me brilliant!
This has always been my favorite from them. Yeah "...December 1963" was good too. But this one was different for "FV&TFS"...
React to their original Begging ❤. I can keep going Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons have been doing this since the ‘60s. They have an incredible catalog ❤

I freaking LOVE this song ❤😃
Don Ciccone thumping that 6 string bass in the video.

These dudes were very "well connected ". Their talent and tight harmonies and FV's falsetto are the key.
Wow. He’s so pretty too 😊

You should watch the movie “Jersey Boys”, the story of the Four Seasons. Their story is unbelievable and naturally the music is fantastic. Thanks for this. 👏👏🥰
Movie was okay but the musical is so much better
@@LouieLouie3 I agree. The stage play was great. I suggested the movie because the stage play may not be easily accessible.
@@Lakeshore14 True. I’ll be seeing the musical for a second time in September.
but shawn you gotta react to frankie valli and the four seasons ( oh what a night ) and ( grease )
I recently made a $15 buy me coffee donation for a request and for the second time in a row it was refunded. What's the deal with that ???
Hi Craig, the donation request info is down in the descriptions regarding price per song if interested ($30 per song request)
@@ShawnSalvadori Sorry Shawn, but #30 is more than I can afford for a song request.
Not a problem at all, purely optional 😊
@@ShawnSalvadori Then how do I got about making a reaction suggestion?
Shawn , Lizanne says you are HOT
It was a sad time when the original Four Seasons called it quits in 1973 and this fictitious "group" replaced it!...yuk! 😝
try ive got you under my skin
