Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on TH-cam, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on TH-cam. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on TH-cam, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

The older I get, the better they sound. They were always on the radio, but not what I primarily listened to .........my loss!

Nice! You still need to hear some earlier 4 Seasons! Frankie has an unbelievable very controlled falsetto. You will be amazed… “Sherry” was their first #1 hit in 1962. Also “Dawn” .. “Walk like a man” .. “Let’s hang on” .. “Opus 17” .. “Save it for me” .. “Candy girl” .. “Bye bye baby” .. “Rag doll” and sooo many more. Looking forward to it! 😀
Frankie is now 90 years old and still performs concerts with the most recent rendition of the Four Seasons and a separate band. TH-cam has loads of recent concert videos. It amazes me how great he still sounds. He has had an extremely interesting life along with being ultra talented.
Saw him in concert a few years ago and he was amazing! One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to!
This is a great song, "Oh What a Night" is a good one around this same time. They've been around for a very long time.
Dawn, Bye Bye Baby, Let's Hang On...IMO, three of the best Frankie Valli songs.
He was larger than life in the 60’s. His first big hit was Sherry Baby! “ If someone suggests this song, you gotta play it Shawn!👍👏👏👏♥️

Frankie Valli is an amazing talent and an even better person. My aunt grew up in the same neighborhood as Frankie and everyone in the area always spoke about how he would come back every Christmas and donate tons of money towards gifts for families who were having financial problems and he never wanted it reported. That’s a good guy!!

excellent harmonies - no autotune. what's not to love ? i remember being a kid when 'sherri baby ' came out and a lot of people laughed - who's laughing now ? frankie and co. were great. that was the bass you heard - nice strong tone.
Love Frankie! He and the Four Seasons were making hits for decades, from the 60’s to the 80’s. I’d definitely recommend “Walk Like a Man” -iconic! “December 1963” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”. And then if you ever get the chance to see the theater show “Jersey Boys”, do it! You’ll walk out with a smile and be dancing and singing for days!
When I was a senior in high school, I had a buddy by the name of Angel. His sister was a DJ in NYC and always sent him a ton of new music that wouldn't reach our little Wisconsin / Midwest area for months.
I went to his place one Saturday afternoon and, as usual, I could hear his music cranking from his bedroom. It was this song. And it was exceptionally loud; louder than he usually played his stereo. I kept knocking and knocking, but he didn't hear me until the song was over. And he was playing the side of the 45 that was the extended disco version, so I sat there for a bit before finally getting him to let me in.
This song wouldn't show up on our local Milwaukee and Madison radio stations for another two or three months.
This was right at the very beginning of the disco era, and Angel was OBSESSED with it. He found "disco beats" in the weirdest places, such as "Wells Fargo" by Babe Ruth and "Siberian Khatru" by Yes. LMAO!
The last I heard from his uncle, he was a coke addicted pimp in Chicago. LOL!
Every single time I play this song, I think of Angel.
No one could ever take Frankie Valli’s place. His vocals are one of a kind.

I remember when they came out with their first hit - "Sherry". I went to my first dance and they played it there and I danced to it. Always remember that. His name is pronounce Frankie "Valley" (FYI)

Frankie Valli started out with "The Four Seasons" back in the 60's. They had so many hits together such as "Silence Is Golden", "Sherry", "Rag Doll", "Candy Girl", "Walk Like A Man", "Ronnie", "Dawn", "Let's Hang On!", "Working My Way Back To You", "Big Girls Don't Cry", "I've Got You Under My Skin" etc. When Frankie went out on his own in the 70's, he had the hit songs "My Eyes Adored You" & "Can't Take My Eyes Off You". He also had a hit with the song "Grease" from the movie. Always loved that he was able to sing in a falsetto voice.
Silver Star is fab; the drummer sings lead and I had the biggest crush on him!
A fantastic review of an all time fantastic Valli Four Seasons songs. Remember this band had over 60 Billboard Chart hit songs in their career. The song reviewed was by a new Four Seasons band put together by original band members Frankie Valli & Bob Gaudio. It was a great talented lineup. Band member Bob Gaudio was the bands main songwriter.
Oh that was the keys and bass on that fantastic part mentioned. Frankie Valli sang the chorus.

Great tune. Great group. Been a fan since 1962 with "Sherry". Besides all the great suggestions below, add "Beggin'" which the Seasons did first but which has been covered by quite a few newer groups. Thanks Shawn.
I never really cared for the earlier 4 Seasons music (forced to listen to whatever my sisters listened to back then). So, this and December 1963 are my top 2 picks.
Another song of Frankie’s to check out from the mid-‘70s is "Swearin’ to God." So good.

Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is the first concert I ever attended back in 1966, I believe. This song is much later and not one of my favorites, but it sounds pretty good. Yes, by the way, it's a 6 string bass.
These dudes were very "well connected ". Their talent and tight harmonies and FV's falsetto are the key.

I’d love you to do them singing The Night which is a northern soul banger. Northern Soul is a dance craze started in the U.K. in the early 1970’s. They danced to obscure soul music from America. Some of the most well known songs were never hits.
