I just got home from work, pag open ko ng door first thing I did is to turn on my wifi and watch wil's vlog! its like a daily routine na,this is my new addiction na! I dont care about tv shows anymore! hahaha!
How sad that a lot of Filipinos who literally live here in the Philippines do not know the depths and breaths of the Filipino language. In olden times, i think they would be called ingrata. As for me I will never teach my kids to forget the language, it really depends on the upbringing of the parents.
Totally agree! It seems to be the new "Filipino Mentality" where Filipinos who live in the Philippines want their children to only speak english for "status" purposes.

The girl looks like a pastor child living here in the country for a long time I guess but rarely speak the Filipino languange. How sad naman. How you people across the country hear the word of God if they will only speak English. Too bad.

I actually can't guess the words either, but given that I've spent most of my life outside the Philippines I think I have a good excuse. However, and this is not pertaining to Janina solely, I think rich kids in the Philippines must also learn Filipino. I know English makes them sound more sophisticated, but there have been multiple studies conducted that being bilingual has tons of benefits for the brain. Filipinos are lucky enough to have English taught to them mandatorily, but that doesn't give the excuse to neglect our mother tongue.
mriellex3 will never understand this concept. knowing english can defs sound sophisticated but when they can't speak their own native language they just look/sound stupid. like ya u can speak english but u have a horrible accent and you can't speak tagalog ?? what language do u speak then???

I hope Janina's dream is not to be a celebrity. It's not that I'm saying that she shouldn't but this video already ruined her. From what I see in the show business in the Philippines, when people senses that you became annoying or maarte, they don't become that famous.
Jaz Dela Cruz aun its 2019 and she is now still in youtube and not ruined :)
2020 now, and she is actually one of the most famous, positive, and mature Filipina influencers on TH-cam. People grow, and she is a perfect example! Keep in mind that she was quite young at the time. She went from videos like these, to speaking up on current topics of importance.

Why is there so much hate on Janina? did she ever claim she's american? I mean I have only watched a couple of her videos but it's obvious she was born and raised in the PH, it was never a secret. I dont understand why people are calling her fake. You can tell just by listening to her accent that she's Filipino. Maybe she's one of those kids who were raised by their parents speaking english, because my cousin's daughter (my niece?) is like that and she cant speak tagalog at all. She only speaks english and it comes with the occasional bad grammar that she probably picked up from people around her lols. Wil knows Janina more than you do so he'll know if she's faking it or not so stop judging her.

Dito ba siya nagaral sa PH? I think halos lahat naman ata ng school dito tinuturo yung Bahay Kubo even sa International Schools tinuturo yan. Im currently studying in Brent International School Binan at tinuturo yan samin since Grade 1 ako, ewan ko lang sakanya.

No she's probably not trying hard, I was born in the Philippines but moved to the US four years ago, now it takes me a while to process the words and translate it into english. If you have lived in a foreign country for a while it gets harder to process tagalog words into your bran.
