SMALL CORRECTION: ONE ROOM AND TWO ROOM CANNOT BE RENTED BY FOREIGNERS. HOWEVER THEY CAN SHARE APARTMENT WITH ONE OR TWO ROOM-YOU CAN RENT ONLY STARTS FROM TWO ROOM HALL KITCHEN FLAT AND ABOVE.
That only applies to hdb not for private properties like condos or landed homes.

Singapore is too expensive for family … 5-6k with just 1 kid and 6-8k for 2 kids … If anyone is planning to come to Singapore with family then they have to get minimum 10k .. without which they can’t save anything

I have lived in Sg and UAE, in both Sg looks value for money except cars, food, Residence. in uae except residence it's exactly opposite. sg has Climate, roads traffic, neighborhood looks more attractive than UAE.
