I have been wanting that tent for a long time. I guess I need to just pull the trigger and purchase it. Nice review. New follower here. Crow✌️

I got this tent for bikepacking as well. I plan on trying it out in the Spring. Surprised they didn't do a better job with seam sealing. Hope it works out for you.
    Happy Holidays.

Okay - I have just returned from a backpacking trip to RMNP in Colorado where I used this tent. I did fix the tensioners on the two corners where the line was installed upside down and they then worked fine. I also watched a video from Six Moons about this tent and they recommend that you face the back of the tent into the wind - that would take care of my concerns, in regard to the vent in the front, as long as the wind didn’t change directions on you. It rained, on and off, the first night I used it and the seam sealing did it’s job, no leaking. As I mentioned there is not a lot of headroom because of the dramatic pitch of the tent in the back. It is adequate, but not great. There was a significant amount of condensation - welcome to a small, single walled tent. I kept a little rag in there and dried off the interior walls a couple of times. Now, to be fair, it did rain a lot that night so the relative humidity was in the upper 90 percent all night. It also dropped into the 30’s so the warm air I was exhaling hit the cold tent fabric and created some significant condensation. I mention it, because the back and both sides drop, as I mentioned, very dramatically; so when I turned over (I’m a side sleeper) my shoulder and feet often rubbed the inside of the tent. So, by the time morning came my quilt was pretty wet on the outside. Wouldn’t have been a big deal if the sun had come out and I could have left my bag out to dry, but it did not. I left my backpack in the vestibule and it stayed as dry as it could sitting on the ground. All-in-all, given that I can’t imagine being out in any worse conditions I would say that the tent performed quite well. I’m 6’2 and 190lbs and I do not think if you were much taller than me that you would be very comfortable in this tent.
If you have experiences, with this tent, that are significantly different than mine, I’d love to hear about them. - THX - Dave

Hi Dave. Thanks for this this review. I just got a lunar solo and seam sealed it today, noticing that one or two of the tensioners are upside down. Am encouraged to know that they are fixable. Did you just rethread the cord through it?

@@jeffstone28 yes, it’s a pretty easy fix. Enjoy!
