Thanks for this. I'm a long-time space simmer, but new to the MSFS family. I may just not have found it yet, but why isn't there detailed documentation for every aircraft available?
Thanks for watching, and welcome to the MSFS family! That’s a great question. While MSFS includes basic tutorials, detailed manuals for every aircraft aren’t provided, likely due to the sheer variety and an assumption that many users have prior experience. For deeper info, the community is a fantastic resource. Many payware aircraft come with manuals, and forums, TH-cam, and real-world aircraft docs can be super helpful. That's the best answer I can come up with. Hope it helps a bit. / Munch Airlines
Great question! That sounds like it might be a bug or possibly a configuration issue. In some cases, the autopilot can lock out if there’s a conflicting input from your controls (like throttle or yoke bindings). Turning off the avionics master switch briefly and then back on can sometimes reset the autopilot. Ensure you’re using the "Modern" flight model (found in the settings), as "Legacy" can cause issues. Reporting it to Microsoft via their Zendesk or forums can help get it addressed. / Munch Airlines
@@unbreakablestar6411 You’re very welcome! I’m glad to hear you got it sorted out! Controller bindings can be tricky, especially with the default settings - happy flying! ✈
Thanks for watching buddy. Here are a few things to check: Fuel Selector and Mixture: Ensure the fuel selector is set to "Both" and the mixture is fully rich before starting. Priming the Engine: If it’s a cold start, make sure you’re priming the engine properly before cranking. Use the FUEL PUMP! Throttle Position: Ensure the throttle is slightly open (about 1/4 inch). If you’re still seeing low oil pressure and the engine won’t crank, it might be worth double-checking your control bindings or reviewing the start-up procedure. I had this problem my self, when I launched the game. My yoke and throttle had standard bindings, so I deleted those and it worked! Do you use flight peripherals like these?
What a great tutorial!!
Thank you so much.

✌✌✌👍👍👍
Is there a bug with Autopilot? Once the Autopilot disengages it can't be turned back on no matter what

@@munchairlines Thank you! There was indeed a conflict in my controller bindings by default. I changed it and now it's working property.

I keep getting low oil pressure and vacuum it won’t even turn over
Make sure u run fuel pump for a couple seconds before turning the start key. Make sure mixture is full rich and throttle is around 65-70 percent.
