I seeked out Freya in the beginning of my practice and there were a lot of times I didn't think she was there or that I was annoying her. When I'd make contact she'd kind of speak to me in almost riddles. I remember when I first made contact I asked if she'd like an offering and she kept saying Rose's. I was like ok, cool, I'll buy you some roses. They're associated with her and love so I thought that's what she wanted. She shows me images in my mind more than anything, so I just sat there closed my eyes and it was me walking, seeing some roses and going over to smell them. I was still confused. Anyway later, I don't remember why, but someone told me to stop and smell the roses, and it just clicked. The first major lesson I had from her was practicing gratitude and finding the beauty in things, living in the now. This was a very hard time I was struggling with and I was just not happy about my situation. It sounds small and silly but I've gained so much from that and it was like over a year ago. She's taught me to take my power back by focusing on what I can control and making beautiful moments in less desired circumstances. I've told her I want to be so much like her, and she was like no, I'm going to show you how to be the best you. Then just heavy shadow work, through my shadow work she helped me realize abilities I naturally have, including "shape shifting." Which was actually a defense mechanism I used growing up because I had to wear multiple hats, but that's another long post. She showed me how I can take something like that and use it to my advantage like in "glamour." I love her. Same thing with my cats. I get freaked out because when I light her candle and want to go in my mind to communicate with her, It's hard because my cat will jump up and I'm scared he'll knock it over. But whenever I pray to her, my cats surround me or get on top of me, or all up on my altar. She isn't momma energy, I actually would love to work with that type of energy because I don't have an actual mother. I don't know who yet. She comes and goes for me. But yeah she brings lessons of empowerment and self love for sure

My experience is similar. I asked the gods for guidance when I felt disconnected and she came in to my life. She showed me to take care of myself better. To do the small things as an act of devotion to the gods. The gods are a part of you so to take care of yourself is to take care of the gods.

I actually just bought a green candle for him today that won't light and then found your Tiktok about the same exact thing happening, lol. The red candle I bought for The Morrigan is burning merrily along and I feel like she might be a little smug about it!
@@daniellac.7588 I think it's different for everyone, but I personally used divination to help. I did a pendulum reading to ask whether they were patrons or just visiting. I received animal signs and vivid dreams shortly after, as well as constantly finding feathers on the ground after not seeing feathers for years (Google has some mixed info about this but I believe it to basically be a confirmation that you're on the right path). I also received messages pertaining to each deity when I read my first oracle cards.

I followed a Native American ritual a while back asking for my spirit animal/guide to manifest into my dreams and it worked. I'm guessing if I did something similar in that context it would work too. About a year ago, I started having Freyjas name popping into my head very randomly, and for a few months that went on. Then one day, a very clear image of a woman with blond hair appeared in my mind, and I had never seen an image of her beforehand. Just before this, I was sitting against a wall outside, and suddenly I was absolutely surrounded by ladybugs
It's always kind of hard when the time comes for someone to leave your practice, but often times the temporary partnerships are the ones with the most important lessons.

I feel you so much on The Morrigan throwing you straight into the ring. The whole beginning of worshipping her I was like “I don’t know if I’m ready for this…” and The Morrigan is just like “nonsense! *throws something else at me*”. I’ve learned so much within the short time of her being here.
Your amber story made me want to ask you about how you feel about offerings you already own. Do you buy new or do you recycle? How do you feel about cleansing something you already own as a deity offering? Or do you need a new energy exchange of some sort? I’m sure sometimes you know something is right.
Absolutely amazing question. With some offerings, I actually will pass them onto other practitioners that are working with that deity or are in the realm of that pantheon. Certain offerings as well, like rocks, bark, sticks, etc, I give back to the land if/when the deity leaves. I do a lot of cleansings with certain objects, especially things like tarot cards, crystals, etc, but with certain things (Like Freyja's amber) the energy of the deity feels very tied to the object. I actually keep that amber piece because it reminds me of Freyja. A lot of her other offerings, like the Gold and Black Tarot, a jawbone with her name on it, were sent to others who were interested in it! I feel like it's all up to you, as well. Certain objects tend to stick around, whether they get cleansed and repurposed or sat aside as a fond memory. Others will move onto where they belong next. Hope this helps!
Not to get too sappy, but this video actually made me cry. I don't work with Freyja, but I experience signs from Bastet since weeks but I was never 100% sure if it's really her who's reaching out to me. Even if she literally sent me a bee into the house while I watched your video on deity communication today to tell me she wants honey. Long story short; I never felt her presence as strong as while watching this video, it felt like she's standing right behind me giving me a gentle head pat and 10 minutes later you mentioned her name. Guess who received a very clear sign now and will buy some honey tomorrow! 💕

I'm from Ukraine) there are deposits of local amber in our country. Freya comes, then retreats, but I determine Her presence precisely by cats and amber)))
This is so lovely! I tried automatic writing and at first I thought it was Freyja coming through but it turned out to be Frigg, but these two deities seem to have a lot in common and some even speculate they were once seen as the same goddess. Frigg helped me a lot on my self love journey as well. I remember her as being very stern and mother-like but also caring.

Freya came into my life recently. I actually was forced into doing rune divination to find out who was calling to me lol. I wasn’t really good with runes but felt drawn to use that and spent the morning figuring it out. Turns out it was her. She came in with this like… nature presence almost? But beautiful and elegant sides of nature. And it was overwhelming. So I was really confused and she kinda made me figure it out. It was like a riddle. I saw someone else commented about how she communicates in riddles and I totally understand that. Hel did a similar thing where I had to dive deeper into different mythologies to figure out who was reaching out in her case but it wasn’t as difficult as Freya. Just a few days after bringing Freya in after I’ve really been trying to learn how to set boundaries, I was thrown into a situation with my dad where I had to set a boundary and learn to be firm about it. It was hard but I learned from it and I have a sneaking suspicion she was involved in that 😂 I also see cats ALL THE TIME and my cat who passed away visits me. I had a suspicion the sheer number of cats, especially the way they just naturally trusted me might mean something but I wasn’t sure. Now it all kinda makes sense after bringing her in lol With each deity that’s come into my practice, it’s been different. It really shows their individuality tbh

I never knew hawks were a messenger bird for freyja, my mothers house has TONS of them and other birds of prey and I always said good morning to them when I walked to school, not really trying to talk to any specific diety just saying hello to the birds themselves. "People talk to their pet cats so why would birds be any different" is what I thought. If I had known it probably would have been more than a simple "good morning"

I just learned to channel and freya has shown up in my life! I am shown images when i channel. I was shown white flowers, then daisies and when i looked up daisies i saw they relate to the Freya!! Holy shit. This video brought me to tears. More than half of your experiences align with me. I first encountered freyja when I was in a HORRIBLE relationship I couldn’t leave. She gave me strength. A red tail hawk is my messenger from her and she has brought me back to my ancestors. She pushed me to learn how to love myself unconditionally and to go into therapy so I could heal and fully love myself. I’m so in awe at how similar of experiences we’ve gone through. It just solidified to me that it is in-fact her. She is my patron deity and I feel so much love for and from her. She makes me feel strong and rooted to my history. I’ve never made an offering bowl because I didn’t consider myself anything other than a witch, but now I’m a Norse pagan green witch. And I’ve been learning Swedish, the native tongue of my ancestors. Unfortunately there is not a lot of credible sources on seidr, but I would love to fully learn and understand.
As someone who has also been practicing for about 8 years, I am now 22, I always learn from you. I work with Lilith and Aphrodite. I also work with a lot of darker energies I won’t name here. But I wanted you to know what you speak is universal and powerful!
Something I learned in my studies is that Freyja is often touted as a Goddess who rules warriors of the ships. This could be land, sea, and air ships. Air Force, Navy, or Army mech units. Also, transportation like boats, airlines, trains, bus, etc. Even if you're not a military type, Freyja could be a great help to work with for those in mass / public transit careers.
A couple things I want to add after watching your video, which is brilliant and top notch btw. I wanted to work with Hecate after this, but got nothing when I tried to contact her. Instead, as you mentioned, ARTEMIS came to me and brought me down that path of work instead. I think it's important that we accppt and realize that when we practice these magics, we don't pick the deities, THEY PICK US.
the mother of love , i met her years ago when i was working closely with Odin, im a sharman so i see the gods visually. shes incredible took me to vanaheim out of my body, she has 8 sisters and i met two of them and her mother Nerthus, she also took me to her brothers . she is in charge, she is strong and direct to me. she is love so loving her is well what she is within you.

Honestly this reminds me so much of Inanna (who I believe is my patroness). She’s also not particularly gentle with her teachings, but I know she cares and it’s just her way of helping.
I believe they are the same diety known to different cultures. This is the case in a lot of situations. Enlil = Zeus = indra = haddu, ect (gods of Jupiter) And, Ea Enki = Odin = Shiva = Prometheus = Quetzalcoatl, ect gods of mercury.

It was summer last year I realised Freyja was with me and since then she’s definitely put me through tests, but has been there to comfort me and push me. I work with Freyja as well, and have experienced a lot of the same things. She actually came to me in a very low period of my life, I was dealing with very bad depression. She's helped me get my a** in gear and has helped me care for myself. I tend to see a lot of rabbits when she's around. Like really.....so...many.....rabbits. Flowers will also just randomly bloom overnight, off season. In my experience, she's firm but fair. As far as her presence, its....it's big.. Shes like "Hello! I am here! I have arrived!" She's not "no nonsense" in the way of being strict, but she will be on you to get your stuff done. The things she tends to like from me are honey jars (not the spell, literally a jar of honey with some chamomile tea mixed in). Loved this video! Can't wait to hear more from you!!
I am just getting started with my relationship with Freyja. Not a witch, but I am a practicing Heathen, and so far I am stunned by her. I feel that she will teach me well and the cycle of reciprocity between us will be strong.
I never believed in deities really, only energies and other witchy things, until last night and this morning when Freyja came to me in a way so powerful I started crying and now I 100000% believe in all of this. Wow awesome video!!!Im seeing more and more signs from freyja recently. A few months ago I had a mediation and heard her name, and I kinda just put that in the back of my mind, I then started to see her show up all over social media so I started reading about her and watching videos to get to know her better. I then did a goddess Oracle reading and she showed up there as well. And as of yesterday I saw two hawks. I never see hawks, especially near my work, this morning as I was driving into work I only saw the one hawk this time. I saw the same hawk as I left to go home for the day as well. I went to find a small piece of Amber but there weren't any, so I had to get a big chunk. Keep in mind, all of this was before I knew it was Freya reaching out. My cat, which was a gift from her when my son found the kitten in a live trap, he has been sleeping with me lately. I was at a friend's house and a stray cat jumped on the outside windowsill and was staring at me. 🤣 I was led about a month ago to start using honey in my tea instead of sugar. I’ll say this, I was super stressed about reaching out to Freyja and I was nervous with Hekate and stepping on toes. I had a few questions that I couldn’t find any answers for. So I sat down today to watch videos that I’ve saved on connecting with Freyja and here you are with answers to my questions back to back and in the bloody order as I had then in my mind🤣😁 I stopped the video a few times and just broke out crying(happy tears) I got a bit emotional. After watching this video all the way I realized she was reaching out to me before I even knew I needed her🥹 Even down to her name being flashed to me like a neon flashing sign, my friend named her puppy Freya. Three days ago I had quite a fight with my family - I set boundaries and was so damn proud of myself for finally standing up for myself. Two days ago I saw a hawk or buzzard sitting on a tree in front of my window (tree is maybe 100 meters away) and I thought maybe it's some sort of witchy sign. Today it appeared again, so I got binoculars and I swear the bird looked right at me. I've never worked with deities so far and don't feel ready at all, haven't given it a thought. So also today, I saw some information about Freyja on Instagram though I've never researched that. Also today - I got an immense urge to buy beautiful dresses, something eye catchy and sexy. I actually have two cats - both of them are much more affectionate currently. Now I just watched the video. It's like all pieces finally fell together. I'm actually scared what all that means, because it's a bit much of coincidence. However if Freyja chose me, I'll do my best.
Peach tea is my favorite, these past couple of years have been having the most changes for my time period in witchcraft and life. I'm more focused now on deity work and now I'm working on full filling my need of finding my permanent patron.
Freyja has always been special to me, often forming part of my identity online. (I"m half Scandinavian.) I used to have a hawk visitor too - and once had a sparrowhawk sitting on my front wall (mostly eyeing my birds, I think, but we can think positively!) I haven't done a lot of work *with* Freyja, though I'm working on changing that now - as I think she's been hinting that it would be nice. (Especially when I found a St. Lucia statuette that I realized was another guise of Freyja.) A number of years ago, Quan Yin came into my life through a figurine first - and has been a part of my life ever since. Again, I haven't done a lot of specific work with her, though I call on her when I need help - or simply comfort. She's more of a mother figure, after all. (And I've found she has the same aura as Mother Mary - I believe them to be one and the same.) Brighid is another one who is special to me, so I might need to work with her more. Then there was a vision I had once of a goddess that I later identified as one of the Finnish goddesses. That one is harder to research so far. The way our allignment works is we treat every god or goddess like a friend our family, my current matron deity is probably Hekate,Nyx or Athena(I currently worship 8 or so gods) Freya came into my life in a time where I am not in the greatest at self care and as soon as I accepted her in just the urge to care for myself even if I dont want to, deity work is tiring yet encouraging

These past two years I’ve been getting visions of the future. Small things, either in my sleep or myself telling a story that will happen. Then last July a friend got kittens who needed homes. On the way home from adopting one of her kittens, we needed a name. Freyja came to me. Now she yells at me to give her attention, love and care. She was lonely so we got her brother (liter mate) Odin was the only name that my boyfriend and I felt was right.
With how they describe Freya is how I see Athena, Athena is like "Child do this now or you will fail" and its like ahh. As for parental deities I see Hekate or Nyx or even Hestia as parental deities which is lovely
I know that deity work is for more advanced people. But she was in my spiritual awakening so that’s how I got to know her. She is (errr was until I accidentally took a break) teaching me respect for myself and for deities
I’m not native English speaker so bear with me. The first god that came to me was Tyr but in no means I was ready to work with a god. I was trying but that wasn’t it. He left and about year later I’ve started to feel a strong male and female presence. It was going for a while so I’ve decided to check who it was. I used cards and also seen images in my mind. It was Odin and Freya. I’ve been working with them for over a year now and they are my patrons. Never in a million years would consider them being my patrons or even to work with them. I was leaning more towards Slavic or Roman deities. Freya really is a wild ride. If she doesn’t like something she will definitely let you know. For example she wanted coffee on altar (I was making one and she was like “this smells nice, I want some”) so I put coffee in a glass container on her altar. Once she was done with it, the container fell from altar slicing my foot open, giving me beautiful scar 🙃 For good 7 (?) months she was expecting me to work with her every day. The work was focused on expanding my magical practice, especially in terms of knowledge and also constantly working on myself. I’ve grown so much with her. I see her mostly in her warrior aspect and believe me she threw me into battles. Recently she connected me with my familiar almost tripping me over a hare bone in the woods. She is demanding but she’s doing it to help me be my true self and the best version of myself. Quite literally because she pointed out that I have “a big secret within myself that I need to find” - it was autism. Since I’ve found out, my life has changed drastically, including my shadow work. I’m beyond grateful for working with her. Where is the Odin in this story you may ask? He is like emotional support, he is like a dad that that comes to me to let me now “the mother is angry, buckle up” (although I don’t see her as a mother)

This video made me realize how often Freyja was trying to talk to me, since I have always been kind of followed by cats and birds. ( Like since I was 10 ) My mom also really liked Freyja and would talk about her a lot since she also very connected to her. Our heritge is very Norse so it makes since why a norse goddes would call out to us a lot.
Fraya as I have called her is one of the best deities to call upon when I am on a job hunt. It a good thing I have had such a relationship too in my field before Obamacare.

Freyja fascinates me and I definitely plan to research her and hopefully worship her eventually, although I need to figure out what the situation is with the entities I've felt recently first. I have a friend who is in desperate need of this kind of sword and shield for a battle she's currently losing, to the extent that I'm thinking of reaching out and asking Freyja for a favor (with appropriate offerings and honouring of course)... I had a similar experience with Freyja. She was only around for a few months but man she taught me to love myself. Came to me when I found a golden heart jewelry box in a thrift store. I told my husband about it bc hes Norse pagan and he didnt want to get it for her so I did! Loves milk chocolate and beer. Also sent me hawks and my cats behavior changed with me too! He still loves my husband more haha. I made a few self love spell jars with her and man oh man she is powerful. I see her like a loving older sister who is super encouraging and understanding. I had a crescent moon made for her with pink and red flowers, gold accents and an amber piece on it. Also helped me set boundaries with friendships and testing how I would act because she knew how I needed to act. And the love magic 😅

Regarding Hekate not being a motherly goddess, it all depends on which aspects of the goddess you focus on. She was originally called upon as a protector during birth for example, and one of her epithets is literally "protector of children". She is the key bearer which was also a motherly role. She is a guardian of lost souls and actively seeks out people who have been cast out from society to give them protection and strength. And i feel thats pretty motherly in its own way.

Weird question but how do you figure out what your patron gods and goddesses are?
@@daniellac.7588 I think it's different for everyone, but I personally used divination to help. I did a pendulum reading to ask whether they were patrons or just visiting. I received animal signs and vivid dreams shortly after, as well as constantly finding feathers on the ground after not seeing feathers for years (Google has some mixed info about this but I believe it to basically be a confirmation that you're on the right path). I also received messages pertaining to each deity when I read my first oracle cards.

I followed a Native American ritual a while back asking for my spirit animal/guide to manifest into my dreams and it worked. I'm guessing if I did something similar in that context it would work too. About a year ago, I started having Freyjas name popping into my head very randomly, and for a few months that went on. Then one day, a very clear image of a woman with blond hair appeared in my mind, and I had never seen an image of her beforehand. Just before this, I was sitting against a wall outside, and suddenly I was absolutely surrounded by ladybugs

It's always kind of hard when the time comes for someone to leave your practice, but often times the temporary partnerships are the ones with the most important lessons.

Your amber story made me want to ask you about how you feel about offerings you already own. Do you buy new or do you recycle? How do you feel about cleansing something you already own as a deity offering? Or do you need a new energy exchange of some sort? I’m sure sometimes you know something is right.
Absolutely amazing question. With some offerings, I actually will pass them onto other practitioners that are working with that deity or are in the realm of that pantheon. Certain offerings as well, like rocks, bark, sticks, etc, I give back to the land if/when the deity leaves. I do a lot of cleansings with certain objects, especially things like tarot cards, crystals, etc, but with certain things (Like Freyja's amber) the energy of the deity feels very tied to the object. I actually keep that amber piece because it reminds me of Freyja. A lot of her other offerings, like the Gold and Black Tarot, a jawbone with her name on it, were sent to others who were interested in it! I feel like it's all up to you, as well. Certain objects tend to stick around, whether they get cleansed and repurposed or sat aside as a fond memory. Others will move onto where they belong next. Hope this helps!

Not to get too sappy, but this video actually made me cry. I don't work with Freyja, but I experience signs from Bastet since weeks but I was never 100% sure if it's really her who's reaching out to me. Even if she literally sent me a bee into the house while I watched your video on deity communication today to tell me she wants honey. Long story short; I never felt her presence as strong as while watching this video, it felt like she's standing right behind me giving me a gentle head pat and 10 minutes later you mentioned her name. Guess who received a very clear sign now and will buy some honey tomorrow! 💕

This is so lovely! I tried automatic writing and at first I thought it was Freyja coming through but it turned out to be Frigg, but these two deities seem to have a lot in common and some even speculate they were once seen as the same goddess. Frigg helped me a lot on my self love journey as well. I remember her as being very stern and mother-like but also caring.

Freya came into my life recently. I actually was forced into doing rune divination to find out who was calling to me lol. I wasn’t really good with runes but felt drawn to use that and spent the morning figuring it out. Turns out it was her. She came in with this like… nature presence almost? But beautiful and elegant sides of nature. And it was overwhelming. So I was really confused and she kinda made me figure it out. It was like a riddle. I saw someone else commented about how she communicates in riddles and I totally understand that. Hel did a similar thing where I had to dive deeper into different mythologies to figure out who was reaching out in her case but it wasn’t as difficult as Freya.
Just a few days after bringing Freya in after I’ve really been trying to learn how to set boundaries, I was thrown into a situation with my dad where I had to set a boundary and learn to be firm about it. It was hard but I learned from it and I have a sneaking suspicion she was involved in that 😂
I also see cats ALL THE TIME and my cat who passed away visits me. I had a suspicion the sheer number of cats, especially the way they just naturally trusted me might mean something but I wasn’t sure. Now it all kinda makes sense after bringing her in lol

I never knew hawks were a messenger bird for freyja, my mothers house has TONS of them and other birds of prey and I always said good morning to them when I walked to school, not really trying to talk to any specific diety just saying hello to the birds themselves. "People talk to their pet cats so why would birds be any different" is what I thought. If I had known it probably would have been more than a simple "good morning"

I've been working a lot with Freyja lately and She definitely lets me know when she wants something, but so far it's always been something that ends-up being beneficial for me too. She's helped me improve both my practice and my self-confidence.
I just learned to channel and freya has shown up in my life! I am shown images when i channel. I was shown white flowers, then daisies and when i looked up daisies i saw they relate to the Freya!! I have had no knowledge of Norse deities before this. I planted daisy seeds today to honour her. I’m very grateful for her presence also, she’s bringing a lot of healing into my life. 💖
Holy shit. This video brought me to tears. More than half of your experiences align with me. I first encountered freyja when I was in a HORRIBLE relationship I couldn’t leave. She gave me strength. A red tail hawk is my messenger from her and she has brought me back to my ancestors. She pushed me to learn how to love myself unconditionally and to go into therapy so I could heal and fully love myself. I’m so in awe at how similar of experiences we’ve gone through. It just solidified to me that it is in-fact her. She is my patron deity and I feel so much love for and from her. She makes me feel strong and rooted to my history. I’ve never made an offering bowl because I didn’t consider myself anything other than a witch, but now I’m a Norse pagan green witch. And I’ve been learning Swedish, the native tongue of my ancestors. Unfortunately there is not a lot of credible sources on seidr, but I would love to fully learn and understand.

As someone who has also been practicing for about 8 years, I am now 22, I always learn from you. I work with Lilith and Aphrodite. I also work with a lot of darker energies I won’t name here. But I wanted you to know what you speak is universal and powerful!
Something I learned in my studies is that Freyja is often touted as a Goddess who rules warriors of the ships. This could be land, sea, and air ships. Air Force, Navy, or Army mech units. Also, transportation like boats, airlines, trains, bus, etc. Even if you're not a military type, Freyja could be a great help to work with for those in mass / public transit careers.
A couple things I want to add after watching your video, which is brilliant and top notch btw. I wanted to work with Hecate after this, but got nothing when I tried to contact her. Instead, as you mentioned, ARTEMIS came to me and brought me down that path of work instead. I think it's important that we accppt and realize that when we practice these magics, we don't pick the deities, THEY PICK US.
the mother of love , i met her years ago when i was working closely with Odin, im a sharman so i see the gods visually. shes incredible took me to vanaheim out of my body, she has 8 sisters and i met two of them and her mother Nerthus, she also took me to her brothers . she is in charge, she is strong and direct to me. she is love so loving her is well what she is within you.

Honestly this reminds me so much of Inanna (who I believe is my patroness). She’s also not particularly gentle with her teachings, but I know she cares and it’s just her way of helping.
I believe they are the same diety known to different cultures.
This is the case in a lot of situations.
Enlil = Zeus = indra = haddu, ect (gods of Jupiter)
And, Ea Enki = Odin = Shiva = Prometheus = Quetzalcoatl, ect gods of mercury.

Great video! Freyja is my patron goddess and she’s everything you said, but I also feel she is motherly with me. It was summer last year I realised Freyja was with me and since then she’s definitely put me through tests, but has been there to comfort me and push me. I’m still getting to know her but so far she’s a goddess I feel so strongly for
I work with Freyja as well, and have experienced a lot of the same things. She actually came to me in a very low period of my life, I was dealing with very bad depression. She's helped me get my a** in gear and has helped me care for myself. I tend to see a lot of rabbits when she's around. Like really.....so...many.....rabbits. Flowers will also just randomly bloom overnight, off season. In my experience, she's firm but fair. As far as her presence, its....it's big.. Shes like "Hello! I am here! I have arrived!" She's not "no nonsense" in the way of being strict, but she will be on you to get your stuff done. The things she tends to like from me are honey jars (not the spell, literally a jar of honey with some chamomile tea mixed in). Loved this video! Can't wait to hear more from you!!

Wow awesome video!!!Im seeing more and more signs from freyja recently. A few months ago I had a mediation and heard her name, and I kinda just put that in the back of my mind, I then started to see her show up all over social media so I started reading about her and watching videos to get to know her better. I then did a goddess Oracle reading and she showed up there as well. And as of yesterday I saw two hawks. I never see hawks, especially near my work, this morning as I was driving into work I only saw the one hawk this time. I saw the same hawk as I left to go home for the day as well. Wow!!! I asked if it was really her, the things I have been experiencing and then I was led to your video!! 🤯❤ The same things have been happening to me lately! I went to find a small piece of Amber but there weren't any, so I had to get a big chunk. Keep in mind, all of this was before I knew it was Freya reaching out. My cat, which was a gift from her when my son found the kitten in a live trap, he has been sleeping with me lately. I was at a friend's house and a stray cat jumped on the outside windowsill and was staring at me. 🤣 I was led about a month ago to start using honey in my tea instead of sugar. I was recently told by a Reiki practitioner that I had a dark Angel that stays behind me, and Freya has been coming into my meditations right before someone I know dies. ❤❤❤ I am being led to help souls on the other side and She wants to teach me. ❤❤❤ Thank you for sharing! I’ll say this, I was super stressed about reaching out to Freyja and I was nervous with Hekate and stepping on toes. I had a few questions that I couldn’t find any answers for. So I sat down today to watch videos that I’ve saved on connecting with Freyja and here you are with answers to my questions back to back and in the bloody order as I had then in my mind🤣😁 I stopped the video a few times and just broke out crying(happy tears) I got a bit emotional. After watching this video all the way I realized she was reaching out to me before I even knew I needed her🥹 Even down to her name being flashed to me like a neon flashing sign, my friend named her puppy Freya. Your situation during this video sounds very similar to mine right now, I’m going threw some massive changes in all areas of my life and it seems she’s already been helping and as you described ittt!

Three days ago I had quite a fight with my family - I set boundaries and was so damn proud of myself for finally standing up for myself.
Two days ago I saw a hawk or buzzard sitting on a tree in front of my window (tree is maybe 100 meters away) and I thought maybe it's some sort of witchy sign.
Today it appeared again, so I got binoculars and I swear the bird looked right at me.
I've never worked with deities so far and don't feel ready at all, haven't given it a thought.
So also today, I saw some information about Freyja on Instagram though I've never researched that.
Also today - I got an immense urge to buy beautiful dresses, something eye catchy and sexy.
I actually have two cats - both of them are much more affectionate currently.
Now I just watched the video. It's like all pieces finally fell together. I'm actually scared what all that means, because it's a bit much of coincidence. However if Freyja chose me, I'll do my best.
Peach tea is my favorite, these past couple of years have been having the most changes for my time period in witchcraft and life. I'm more focused now on deity work and now I'm working on full filling my need of finding my permanent patron.
Freyja has always been special to me, often forming part of my identity online. (I"m half Scandinavian.) I used to have a hawk visitor too - and once had a sparrowhawk sitting on my front wall (mostly eyeing my birds, I think, but we can think positively!) I haven't done a lot of work *with* Freyja, though I'm working on changing that now - as I think she's been hinting that it would be nice. (Especially when I found a St. Lucia statuette that I realized was another guise of Freyja.)
A number of years ago, Quan Yin came into my life through a figurine first - and has been a part of my life ever since. Again, I haven't done a lot of specific work with her, though I call on her when I need help - or simply comfort. She's more of a mother figure, after all. (And I've found she has the same aura as Mother Mary - I believe them to be one and the same.)
Brighid is another one who is special to me, so I might need to work with her more.
Then there was a vision I had once of a goddess that I later identified as one of the Finnish goddesses. That one is harder to research so far.

The way our allignment works is we treat every god or goddess like a friend our family, my current matron deity is probably Hekate,Nyx or Athena(I currently worship 8 or so gods) Freya came into my life in a time where I am not in the greatest at self care and as soon as I accepted her in just the urge to care for myself even if I dont want to, deity work is tiring yet encouraging
The fact that I was looking for a goddess to work with and I just did an instagram live where I also asked my viewers what their fav tea is and that I have been using rose and rose scented stoff so so much more recently, I think I found the deity I need to work with! Thanks

These past two years I’ve been getting visions of the future. Small things, either in my sleep or myself telling a story that will happen. Then last July a friend got kittens who needed homes. On the way home from adopting one of her kittens, we needed a name. Freyja came to me. Now she yells at me to give her attention, love and care. She was lonely so we got her brother (liter mate) Odin was the only name that my boyfriend and I felt was right.

So good I have been worshiping since 2018 amazing transformation in myself
I’m not native English speaker so bear with me.
The first god that came to me was Tyr but in no means I was ready to work with a god. I was trying but that wasn’t it. He left and about year later I’ve started to feel a strong male and female presence. It was going for a while so I’ve decided to check who it was. I used cards and also seen images in my mind. It was Odin and Freya. I’ve been working with them for over a year now and they are my patrons. Never in a million years would consider them being my patrons or even to work with them. I was leaning more towards Slavic or Roman deities. Freya really is a wild ride. If she doesn’t like something she will definitely let you know. For example she wanted coffee on altar (I was making one and she was like “this smells nice, I want some”) so I put coffee in a glass container on her altar. Once she was done with it, the container fell from altar slicing my foot open, giving me beautiful scar 🙃 For good 7 (?) months she was expecting me to work with her every day. The work was focused on expanding my magical practice, especially in terms of knowledge and also constantly working on myself. I’ve grown so much with her. I see her mostly in her warrior aspect and believe me she threw me into battles. Recently she connected me with my familiar almost tripping me over a hare bone in the woods. She is demanding but she’s doing it to help me be my true self and the best version of myself. Quite literally because she pointed out that I have “a big secret within myself that I need to find” - it was autism. Since I’ve found out, my life has changed drastically, including my shadow work. I’m beyond grateful for working with her.
Where is the Odin in this story you may ask? He is like emotional support, he is like a dad that that comes to me to let me now “the mother is angry, buckle up” (although I don’t see her as a mother)

( Like since I was 10 ) My mom also really liked Freyja and would talk about her a lot since she also very connected to her. Our heritge is very Norse so it makes since why a norse goddes would call out to us a lot.

Freyja fascinates me and I definitely plan to research her and hopefully worship her eventually, although I need to figure out what the situation is with the entities I've felt recently first. I have a friend who is in desperate need of this kind of sword and shield for a battle she's currently losing, to the extent that I'm thinking of reaching out and asking Freyja for a favor (with appropriate offerings and honouring of course)... I have only done deity worship before, never deity work... Research first, regardless.

I see her like a loving older sister who is super encouraging and understanding. I had a crescent moon made for her with pink and red flowers, gold accents and an amber piece on it.
Also helped me set boundaries with friendships and testing how I would act because she knew how I needed to act. And the love magic 😅

Regarding Hekate not being a motherly goddess, it all depends on which aspects of the goddess you focus on. She was originally called upon as a protector during birth for example, and one of her epithets is literally "protector of children". She is the key bearer which was also a motherly role. She is a guardian of lost souls and actively seeks out people who have been cast out from society to give them protection and strength. And i feel thats pretty motherly in its own way.
