I'm not sure what the exact timing is with the catalyst but I think you could get off two rockets before Argent Ordnance procs again (cooldown for Argent Ordnance is 4 seconds). At the end of the day this should only matter during the second boss but I'm glad you pointed this out as I DEFINETLY should have brought this up and completely overlooked this. Shard of Galanor, reduces risk in first encounter, as I would only cap one totem, have a super every damage phase. Additionally, use BXR with Demo and Incandescent. Always have a nade on hand. Same loadout for second and can get multiple supers per damage phase
I pretty muched used the same loadout but used a Luna's with Heal Clip/Incandescent. Heal Clip REALLY saved my ass from close calls and got me the flawless clear! Great video!
Something I learned about final boss is the eyes and boss itself needs a second or 2 of line of site to shoot at you, so what you can do is dip in-between the pillars at top floors so avoid being shot by the eyes while shooting the boss
Argent Ordnance is counter-intutive on Dragon's Breath, since you typically stow the rocket after firing a shot in a rotation. It's much better if you use it on something like Apex predator when you mag dump w/ Bait and switch.

I was doing some solo runs the other day with Shards of Galanor, and another thing worth mentioning is how forgiving it can make the immune phase on the ogre boss. You can straight up use it to clear out the yellow minotaurs or quickly one shot big scorn minibosses and get it back by the time you start DPS as long as you're killing. I bring up the scorn guys specifically because I started going mid, letting them come up to me, have them both spawn the Taken orbs and then I would Dragon's Breath one and immediately Blade Barrage the other. I was able to get all 4 solar orbs solo consistently. It's definitely riskier since the boss has clearer line of sight to you and you have to use a rocket which can be bad if you don't get many drops, but it made getting to DPS so much faster.
Yes this is very true! Shards of Galanor's regeneration rate is SO good that you can basically use it for ad clear 😂 Seriously though you're completely right!
This really helped me thank you. But for 2nd and last boss I swapped to wardens law/lcuky pants for dps, IG I really slept on dragons breath, its goated
My roll of Zaouli's Bane does wonders keeping me alive with that range and explosive payload, keeping restoration active without losing it for a second all throughout the entire encounter.
Great explanation, really enjoyed the vid. I like to keep a Luck Pants/ Malfeasance loadout ready encase i’m low on ammo. You can blitz through final stand and chunk the boss if needed. Be aware that you would loose special ammo for your fusion though.

Have you tried Adhortative with heal clip and incandescent? I crafted one with enhanced perks and it's pretty sweet. The nano munitions weapon perk is usless when solo, though, so it works the best in a fireteam.
I actually have lol. I got a random roll with it and needed solar kills on vex for a bounty so I used that gun since I was lazy and didn't want to drag guns over from dim. I wasn't really paying attention while using it but it seemed pretty decent! I'd rather just use my calus mini tool or zaoulis bane just cuz I like them better. Good suggestion though and I'll keep that gun in mind!
@keegab The biggest downside is the ugly weapon skin lol, but if you've only tried using it solo i would definitely suggest trying it in a fireteam at least once. Heal clip cures nearby allies, and if you let the origin perk build stacks for a while (by reloading before the mag is empty), it feels like you can mag-dump ~150 rounds when you eventually choose to proc it. That said, this season it's hard for me to use anything other than sunshot or polaris, cuz they're just so good right now

Hey glad it could help! I don't plan on updating it at the moment because of the recent changes to surges and raid/dungeon leveling. If I do end up remaking these it will be later when everything is cleared up with Bungie as they talked about possibly changing the new system they just implemented 👍

honestly, celestial nighthawk and polaris lance seems still better for less ad-heavy encounters and switch to an hand cannon for full of ad encounters if you have aim
I haven't touched polaris lance this season but I've only heard good things about it so if you end up using it let me know how it goes. On the other hand, celestial is extremely good but shards of galanor's ease of use, high damage, and super regeneration still makes it better for solo content IMO. Both options are great and at the end of the day it's just preference!
I think No Survivors could also do well but you'd need to get lucky or just farm the entirety of GotD for an Incandescent Demo god roll of you want that. Probably one of the best for add clear and survivability with Heal grenades but probably will take a loooong while to get.
Me personally I run the fragment that gives you restoration upon picking up firesprites and the one that helps you generate firesprites combined with boot mods that keeps your health up with orb pickups I find this build to be better for survivability so long as u get your kills and dragons breath alone creates firesprites I find its less stressful where I only rely on healing grenade now my healing grenade is just backup safety measure I find I survive more with my hunter this way I don't even need assassin cowl I can keep the nighthawk equipped
I don't remember if I mentioned it in this video but I know I have before, but the fragment you're talking about has a big bug right now where if you pick up firesprites/reproc restoration while ALREADY having restoration, it'll reset the timer back down to the base timer (3/6 seconds depending on if you're using the fragment that increases the duration). Bungie made a post about this bug and they plan on having it fixed when TFS dropped. If the fragment wasn't bugged I'd totally recommend it 🥲🥲
Someone else commented a similar request on another one of my solo flawless videos. I've kinda been waiting to see if Bungie is going to address the new dungeon and raid health bar situation alongside the power adjustments, but it seems like it's been too long for them to bring anything up now. I will start working on updated versions for prismatic classes + the new supers soon. I'm not sure when these will come out but just know it's brewing in the background 👍

Dragons breath's auto reload only works when you hit the max fuel stacks (5x). So there's no need to choose one or the other since they require each other to function 👍 Thanks! Glad the video is helping so far!
I recommend Drang with enhanced wellspring and incandescent, shoots right through those scorn shields with the anti barrier sidearm mod and with wellspring and the to excess trait you’re abilities recover fast
Anti barrier is definitely a slept on perk since it makes enemies with shields wayyyy easier to kill. Unfortunately I don't like sidearms and anti barrier is only side arm this season 😭 Great recommendation 👍
Nothing is bugged about enhanced controlled burst that will affect any gameplay. It's just that enhanced controller burst literally gives 0 extra benefit. Enhanced controller burst and normal controller burst are the same for some reason.
As long as you don't proc restoration from a healing grenade OR from picking up firesprites (only if you're using Ember of Mercy, this makes your firesprites grant restoration on pickup) you should never encounter this bug. It's only ever when you proc restoration while you're above the base timer where you'll get the timer reset. Bungie said they're working on fixing it but it won't be out till final shape :/ Note that you can only see 4 effects on the side of your screen at a time so you're gonna have to guess or keep track of your restoration if too many things are happening.
This loadout show work great in almost any content except maybe gms! Only thing I might swap out is the scavenger mod to get more dmg off with dragons breath.
It seems really inconsistent but a good tip is to make sure he has line of sight on you. If they can see you it seems more likely they'll throw the totems up unless you're super close and making them slam.
Loadout swapping isnt really an "advanced thing". Its easy on PC once everything is setup. However, using a controller on console makes it really dangerous because of how slow the menu cursor is. Even just swapping a single piece of armor is dangerous on console.
True, I could've worded it better. Loadout swapping actually is really simple. All it really consits of is taking the time to setup/understand both loadouts then simply clicking on one or the other during the encounter. On the other hand, the task of doing it mid encounter and learning how to keep yourself alive is not. And yeah, controller players DEFINETLY have it rough when it comes to swapping anything mid encounter 😭

I think the thing like you say is that in the midst of the chaos and the spam of damage from the enemies it’s does take some smarts as to how to time that. so you do have a point with it being “advanced”. Switching to celestial is probably worth the risk, lol.

Guess im just not meant to solo this dungeon, i get shredded through restoration, even with 100 resil. Even rougher on console I hate this dungeon man, ghosts was so much better
If you're having problems stay alive I'm gonna recommend playing warlock. Super user friendly and restoration x2 makes it almost impossible to die through. I made a loadout guide specifically for warlock's two weeks ago if you need that video. If you really want to play hunter though, I'm gonna recommend making sure you thin the herd of ads before doing anything mechanic or DPS related. That's usually how you'll end up dying. Or you can use assassins cowl and loose out on the shards of galanor buff which in hand will make the run take longer BUT you'll at least have a way higher chance of staying alive. If you solo flawlessed Ghosts of the Deep you can DEFINETLY do this dungeon!
Just a reminder that you NEED to have the Ember of Empyrean aspect on or you can't extend radiant or restoration. There's also a bug with restoration where if you pick up or proc any sort of restoration through objects such as healing grenades or fire sprites it will put your restoration timer back to 3 or 6 seconds depending on if you're using Ember of Solace or not. So be careful when accidentally throwing a healing grenade or picking up fire sprites if you're using Ember of Mercy.

You can still use your healing grenade to give yourself restoration, it's when you use your healing grenade AGAIN when you have a higher timer than 3/6 seconds. For example: you use your healing grenade to give yourself 3 seconds then you extend it by getting solar ability or solar weapon kills to get it all the way up to 12 seconds. If you use your healing grenade again while at 12 seconds, it will bug out and reset you back to 3 seconds. Same thing with fire sprites if you use ember of Mercy.

The fire sprites are fine to pick up but don't use ember of Mercy (which gives you restoration when you pick up a fire sprite) if you plan on keeping your restoration timer high. Unless you're creating a mass surplus of firesprites to keep yourself alive on short timers, you'll end up bugging your timer back down to 3/6 seconds.

Buried bloodline is definitely an amazing weapon. Haven't gotten to using it much but even with devours nerf a while back, it's still plenty good!

honestly, celestial nighthawk and polaris lance seems still better for less ad-heavy encounters and switch to an hand cannon for full of ad encounters if you have aim
I haven't touched polaris lance this season but I've only heard good things about it so if you end up using it let me know how it goes. On the other hand, celestial is extremely good but shards of galanor's ease of use, high damage, and super regeneration still makes it better for solo content IMO. Both options are great and at the end of the day it's just preference!
I think No Survivors could also do well but you'd need to get lucky or just farm the entirety of GotD for an Incandescent Demo god roll of you want that. Probably one of the best for add clear and survivability with Heal grenades but probably will take a loooong while to get.
Yeah no survivors would work great! Honestly any solar weapon is fine besides a scout rifle.
Me personally I run the fragment that gives you restoration upon picking up firesprites and the one that helps you generate firesprites combined with boot mods that keeps your health up with orb pickups I find this build to be better for survivability so long as u get your kills and dragons breath alone creates firesprites I find its less stressful where I only rely on healing grenade now my healing grenade is just backup safety measure I find I survive more with my hunter this way I don't even need assassin cowl I can keep the nighthawk equipped
I don't remember if I mentioned it in this video but I know I have before, but the fragment you're talking about has a big bug right now where if you pick up firesprites/reproc restoration while ALREADY having restoration, it'll reset the timer back down to the base timer (3/6 seconds depending on if you're using the fragment that increases the duration). Bungie made a post about this bug and they plan on having it fixed when TFS dropped.
If the fragment wasn't bugged I'd totally recommend it 🥲🥲

Someone else commented a similar request on another one of my solo flawless videos. I've kinda been waiting to see if Bungie is going to address the new dungeon and raid health bar situation alongside the power adjustments, but it seems like it's been too long for them to bring anything up now.
I will start working on updated versions for prismatic classes + the new supers soon. I'm not sure when these will come out but just know it's brewing in the background 👍

Would it be ideal to wait for dragons breath fuel to rise to x5 before firing again or just send it when you hear the reload? Great job on the video the breakdown helped so much
Dragons breath's auto reload only works when you hit the max fuel stacks (5x). So there's no need to choose one or the other since they require each other to function 👍

I recommend Drang with enhanced wellspring and incandescent, shoots right through those scorn shields with the anti barrier sidearm mod and with wellspring and the to excess trait you’re abilities recover fast
Anti barrier is definitely a slept on perk since it makes enemies with shields wayyyy easier to kill. Unfortunately I don't like sidearms and anti barrier is only side arm this season 😭

Yeah you can use this with any sort of solar weapon, those are just the ones I recommend. Ammit is easily craftable and is very good as well!

Depending on how many hits/kills you get with BB will give you up to 50% of your super back. It could be you aren't hitting/killing enough things

Nothing is bugged about enhanced controlled burst that will affect any gameplay. It's just that enhanced controller burst literally gives 0 extra benefit. Enhanced controller burst and normal controller burst are the same for some reason.

How do you deal with the restoration bug?
As long as you don't proc restoration from a healing grenade OR from picking up firesprites (only if you're using Ember of Mercy, this makes your firesprites grant restoration on pickup) you should never encounter this bug. It's only ever when you proc restoration while you're above the base timer where you'll get the timer reset. Bungie said they're working on fixing it but it won't be out till final shape :/
Note that you can only see 4 effects on the side of your screen at a time so you're gonna have to guess or keep track of your restoration if too many things are happening.

How does this fair with group content?
This loadout show work great in almost any content except maybe gms! Only thing I might swap out is the scavenger mod to get more dmg off with dragons breath.

Anyone know how to get the knight to spawn the taken "lanterns" Everytime it seems like it takes forever or never spawns.
It seems really inconsistent but a good tip is to make sure he has line of sight on you. If they can see you it seems more likely they'll throw the totems up unless you're super close and making them slam.
They were bugged. It should be fixed as of the 23rd a few days ago.
Loadout swapping isnt really an "advanced thing". Its easy on PC once everything is setup. However, using a controller on console makes it really dangerous because of how slow the menu cursor is. Even just swapping a single piece of armor is dangerous on console.
True, I could've worded it better. Loadout swapping actually is really simple. All it really consits of is taking the time to setup/understand both loadouts then simply clicking on one or the other during the encounter. On the other hand, the task of doing it mid encounter and learning how to keep yourself alive is not. And yeah, controller players DEFINETLY have it rough when it comes to swapping anything mid encounter 😭

I think the thing like you say is that in the midst of the chaos and the spam of damage from the enemies it’s does take some smarts as to how to time that. so you do have a point with it being “advanced”. Switching to celestial is probably worth the risk, lol.

If you're having problems stay alive I'm gonna recommend playing warlock. Super user friendly and restoration x2 makes it almost impossible to die through. I made a loadout guide specifically for warlock's two weeks ago if you need that video.
If you really want to play hunter though, I'm gonna recommend making sure you thin the herd of ads before doing anything mechanic or DPS related. That's usually how you'll end up dying. Or you can use assassins cowl and loose out on the shards of galanor buff which in hand will make the run take longer BUT you'll at least have a way higher chance of staying alive.
If you solo flawlessed Ghosts of the Deep you can DEFINETLY do this dungeon!

Just a reminder that you NEED to have the Ember of Empyrean aspect on or you can't extend radiant or restoration. There's also a bug with restoration where if you pick up or proc any sort of restoration through objects such as healing grenades or fire sprites it will put your restoration timer back to 3 or 6 seconds depending on if you're using Ember of Solace or not. So be careful when accidentally throwing a healing grenade or picking up fire sprites if you're using Ember of Mercy.

PS I do use empyrean and solace but still sometimes it's like my resto is gone from 1 second to another
You can still use your healing grenade to give yourself restoration, it's when you use your healing grenade AGAIN when you have a higher timer than 3/6 seconds.
For example: you use your healing grenade to give yourself 3 seconds then you extend it by getting solar ability or solar weapon kills to get it all the way up to 12 seconds. If you use your healing grenade again while at 12 seconds, it will bug out and reset you back to 3 seconds. Same thing with fire sprites if you use ember of Mercy.

@@JJ-gk5tn I think recuperation is fine to use since all it does is give you a chunk of health, not restoration. The fire sprites are fine to pick up but don't use ember of Mercy (which gives you restoration when you pick up a fire sprite) if you plan on keeping your restoration timer high. Unless you're creating a mass surplus of firesprites to keep yourself alive on short timers, you'll end up bugging your timer back down to 3/6 seconds.
