- Here's my after action report on the first game I ever played on PlayDiplomacy.com, "Lets Play." It was game number 79327, and I played it on the classic map.

And credit for any subtitles belongs to Perygl, for Romanian, to pompodopompom, for French, and to Sploack, for Italian.
In the end, despite Italy's terrible tactical performance, he was correct in warning Turkey of the (obvious) danger, and it was Turkey who failed miserably in having enough strategic vision to prevent it (or even stab you, since Vienna and Budapest were open at the same time you were taking all of Germany). So I'd say that Turkey has to bear most of the blame for your solo
I prefer to think of it as giving Turkey the majority of the credit, but I can see your point of view too.
I give Italy credit for helping me create humorous content ;)
Italy is just amazing 😂😂
Some players go beyond being merely ineffective, into the realm of legend...
That ending has got me laughing.
There's just something so spectacularly dickish about convincing Germany to move out of Denmark for Berlin and denying him anyway when you could have just forced him out without a word for the same result regardless. I'm in awe of casual toying with a man's hope on display here.
I'm afraid that there are detractors of mine who might agree with that characterization of me... only in the world of Diplomacy, of course! :)
As for me, I'm basically a big teddy bear. I don't know how I give this other impression *so often*
this game was hilarious. Italy is the diplomacy player i strive to be
Thanks! Personally, I emulate Radio Free Denmark.
Very well done for soloing your first game.
Thank you, I was most proud at the time. In retrospect, I seem to be getting worse as time goes on... many of my earlier games see me cover myself in glory, and many of my more recent games are much harder fought. Either I am getting weaker, or the level of competition on PlayDiplomacy has increased!
Italy with the 200iq play in 1901 and 1902
He thought he could intimidate us with his diabolical genius, but the most intimidating thing was the worry that he might not know how to use the site. O_o
I will put Radio Free Tunis in my pocket for later.
Hopefully you won't have to use it.
