    Anyone know if the buffer tube is milspec or civi?

    • @varagner

      Milspec on my WFA1, buffer tubes are a cheap and easy to source part though, so no big deal if you need to change it around.

    Costs?
    $3000 Rifle?
    $500 Pump handle
    Installation??
    So about $4000?
    Anyone nominate better or worse than that?

      The FABA kit is end-user install and takes 2 mins

      so 3500?

    • @SpeKterDesigns
      @SpeKterDesigns 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SpaghettiFPV-tg3qh Maybe closer to a $3500 rifle then the pump kit on top. so likely $4k plus pimping.... worth having rifle rounds accurate (well inaccurate is actually the issue) to 600 yards in when pulling snap shots with a pump? Your call.

      @@SpeKterDesigns Are you shooting your .223 out to 600 meters for hunting? Impressive. This rifle appeals to pig shooters on bikes as well all other forms of hunting also you can use this rifle rested as it is still a straight pull and has a side charging handle. If its not your cup of tea that's fine but it doesn't mean you can be like "but can it do this" when clearly it isn't designed for that.

    Is it possible to get a variant in Cate B Tasmania?

    • @josephsherman5288
      @josephsherman5288 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      This would be a Cat B in Tas, you could also look at Wedgetail Industries MPR308.

    Just quick question wouldnt the pump modification be a illegal mod? Coz i feel like if you did this to a straightpull shotgun you would get done.

    • @Alex-yg5uh
      @Alex-yg5uh 4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      What? they wouldn't sell it if that was the case....also pump rifles are cat b....why are you spouting shit about shotguns?

    • @cheeseburgertim1694
      @cheeseburgertim1694 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Alex P
      Actually, it's a valid point.
      Because they sell it doesn't make it legal if installed, after all, it's an end user fitment by the OWNER, meaning the OWNER assumes all legal responsibility.
      Qld WLB attempted to pursue owners of lever action shotguns who extended the magazine capacity on the basis they didn't get a LICENSED armourer to do the "modification".
      If a "pump" action WFA1 rifle were to discharge out of battery because the trigger was pulled before the "pump" action was closed, and people were injured or killed, Warwicks would deny liability on the grounds the "pump" action was not a factory option, and the supplier of the "pump" action would deny any liability on the grounds they didn't install it.
      And of course if this kit can work on a straight pull rifle, it can work, or
      be made/modified to work on a straight pull shotgun.
      I wonder if when Tasmania banned the WFA1 was it banned by name? And if it was, is the WFA1-L legal in Tas because it's not the WFA1???
      The Vektor H5 pump action rifle is a FACTORY made pump action rifle and has an auto safety sear installed at the factory for the specific safety reason to prevent out of battery discharges.

      @@cheeseburgertim1694 BLAH blah blah, long story short it's legal. Again what the fuck does THIS kit have to do with shotguns? NOTHING that's what! Also not sure why you are talking about out of battery discharges. You don't seem to get the fact that this kit does not make the warwick a "pump" action at all. This kit is moving the charging handle FOWARD hence forward assist, the "action" has not changed and the bolt carrier is still returned via the spring. Don't give a fuck about transmainia and their laws but they probably banned in on appearance laws ie. they think it looks like an select fire rifle.

    • @cheeseburgertim1694
      @cheeseburgertim1694 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If this kit doesn't turn a rifle into a pump action in the eyes of the gun grabbers, I dare you to install one on a straight pull shotgun, upload a video of yourself shooting the "forward assist" shotgun with your face shown, and say it's not pump action.
      I'm guessing your door will be kicked in by the end of the day.
      Your not concerned with what happened in TAS ? You should be, because what happened in TAS had federal influence and assistance, meaning it can happen anywhere in AU.
      But as you are a typical Australian firearms owner, who cares about no one else but yourself, I can see why this kit excites you.
      No unity, your national shooting associations are a joke that care only about making money off their members, and you are reduced to getting excited over pimped out bolt actions.
      Let me guess, your going to repeal the NFA next ? and get semi autos back.... ?wake up to yourself S4B

      @@cheeseburgertim1694 im not saying i wanna get this kit an put it on a shotgun as its pointless for me since i have a cat D an can just buy a pump action if i want one.
      My point was that the same as you this type of stuff will get more firearms banned.
      Im all for every one having what every firearm they like how they want it to look the only problem is Australia dont habe the amendments to protect rights.

      I agree it's a POS but to get a D Cat you need a pest control business with a valid contract or you need to be primary producer. It would literally be more practical and cheaper to visit the USA every year for a holiday and buy and keep an AR15 over there

      Not practical for most people, a fair few on our team have Cat D its not a practical option for 99% of people.
