@@CommanderBly5052 It took me like 10 tries to finish the first trial (i actually killed even the last boss the first time, but then i accidentially killed myself with bombs and then the 3 lizalfos always got me), 2 to finish the second and one to do the 3rd trial. But i wasn't doing the second and third one blind, so i had an advantage
Tristana Kazame Have you tried shield clipping? If you haven’t it can take awhile but if you have some patience and time it would work. It took me about 2 hours to master it
2 tricks I'm using all the time after seeing this video: 1: Spamming the wizard rods and switching back and forth between a weapon and the rod. 2: Sneak strike and walk around the enemy. These 2 tricks saved me so much time and I'll be using them outside the trial. Thanks!
@Flat Earthers 4 Trump - triple attack boost only gives you a slight advantage in master mode. I've beaten trial of the sword twice in master mode and the attack boost only helped slightly with damage that would have madd it impossible without, so no I wouldn't say it's cheating.

I've come to the conclusion that the Beginning trials are harder than the middle and hard trials. The Lizalfos wouldn't be that bad if they didn't regenerate health after you knock them in the water.
whatisthis131321213 it also helped that this guy probably practiced for dozens of hours to get it this perfect. No one is gonna be this good stumbling through the trials a couple times.
@@wc7618 he spent like 100 hours getting good at speed running zelda, then he could apply the stuff he learned from speed running, to the trials. all of the stuff he does seems like speed run tactics that can be used in a ton of situations outside of the trials. E.g: using flame items to heat your self up so you dont need special armor or foods to heat up in cold areas, and the sneak attack>go to the other side of the person>repeat.
Every one in this thread for got ome thing, THIS guy is using 3x boost for 30 mon which to make you need a dragon horn. With this recipe its exactly like normal mode LMAO

Even pros fuck up from time to time so hey... We're all human and equals in the end so no need to feel bad or jelly or anything like that. I love this game for many reasons. I stopped playing because the beginning trial on master mode was so hard. I wanted to enjoy the game with the fully powered sword, but I couldn’t beat it. After a year or so I had an urge to play again, but not until I found a way to beat the trials. Of all the videos I watched, this was the most helpful. I used it as a walkthrough as I entered each stage. I actually have changed the way I play the game because of what I’ve learned here. You got me through all 3 trials and made me a better player. biggest mistake people make is choosing 3x up defence instead of 3 x up attack. the monsters heal in master mode if u cant kill them quickly you'll break all your weapons trying and still fail so three times up attack is the only way, also make sure your sheika slate is fully upgraded meaning you have stasis lock plus
I always use defense up because I use bombs for most of the levels and attack up doesn't effect bombs. The regeneration is a pain, but the bombs are safe for conserving weapons.
2 years late, but I disagree. You are given plenty of weapons, they even add a few laying around for Master Mode. High level defense boost gives 24 armor points where you would have had none. It makes mistakes far lest costly, in a trial where one mistake could easily end your run. I used defense on my run through the trial in Master Mode.

I finally managed to get past the 3 lizalfos room with this video. The chaining of sneak attacks are surprisingly easy to perform. Now let's hope I survive the rest of the floors.
Sneak attack everything, stasis everything only get 6 attacks per flurry Rush so YOU DONT KNOCK THE FREAKING LIZALFOS INTO THE WATER WHERE THE HEAL AND LIVE FOREVER! Got it ;)
Oh this guy knows... I fucking HATED IT when they fell in the water, cause all you can do is bomb them. So the game is in this Death Match, who can shoot faster? Me throwing bombs, or them spitting water? The result is my dead corpse... FML!!!!
They come out the water if you simply run forward to the big scaffold with the hole in the middle. There are multiple places where they can leap on, and if they can't hit you they will.
After thirteen hours, I finally beat Master Mode EX Sword Trial last night. Thank you so much for this video--emulating your genius is what got me through the beginning and middle trials.
The health bar more or less tells you where the head is, so headshots are actually pretty easy against moblins at close combat. The strongest bow plus x3 attack allows you to kill them with just 4 arrows. I've seen people killing them with bombs and that's far more dangerous. I've seen many times how the bombs ricochet of moblins and you detonate them just to see how the huge radius of them sends you flying across the room.

Is it weird that I find the Beginner Trial impossible and the other trials to be much easier? At least in those trials you get armour and Ancient Arrows to use on Lynels.
Pierre Begley On my most recent runthrough, I died far more on the final trials due to the massive amount of damage enemies dealt. Granted I was playing vanilla.
Suprebob Toast I missed the last Lynel with 2 ancient arrows. Luckily I had 3 when I started that room. I swear to god he dodged me. The first one I undershot then the second I shot at him at blank-point and he dodged! My heart started racing. I thought for sure I was fucked! Hands sweaty, arms spaghetti I managed to hit him with the last one.
I completed the trials last night, I freaked out when I realized I didn't pick up the blizzard rod but I ended up not needing it. Killed the Lynel with the ancient arrow and ran straight to the guardian on top of the tower and destroyed it then took care of the bokoblins while gliding. Thanks for this man! it helped me a lot.
Am I the only one that really enjoys that little detail of Link holding his foot from pain when he kicks a chest without wearing any shoes? It's such a small thing but I really love that Nintendo put it into the game.
This was a great refresher, I did a normal mode trial blind and a master mode set last year and just came back to the game; I used this vid when I was stuck on master mode then and I used it again to get through it this time. I'm glad the final trial isn't crushingly hard because the beginner trial on master is totally fucked; not only the one room where it's like "shoot the lizalfos scout in the head or lose" but the rooms with multiple black bokoblins where your best weapon is pretty much a bomb. I did them with 3 hearts both times, basically as soon as I could pull the sword out and then trading my hearts back for a full stamina wheel, and it was pretty intense. Middle and final trials were both first tries then and now, but the beginner trial, even knowing what to do, was still a pain in the ass. The beginner one I finished with just my bare health remaining after starting with 20 yellow hearts and the final I finished with 8 yellow hearts and 5 fairies and didn't use one once. That said the middle and final trials felt challenging, tense but fun. Where the beginner one was just teeth grittingly frustrating, one error and you're running around flinging bombs again. Anyways, thanks for the video.

Or on the rare occasion that I DO manage to kill the 2 Black Bokoblins, I get nailed by the Moblin with the spear in Room 5 >_< all TWO times I've got that far X_X Of course *I* don't use freaking food buffs. Because, you know, I thought the point of that kind of challenge was that you DON'T take anything with you.
IronSpider521 - random vids Maybe in Master Mode, but in vanilla, I think two is the easiest, while one is moderately difficult, and three is the most challenging. One does have the Lizalfos room, but that's about all it has.
Don't worry, I felt like the first levels in the beginning and middle trials are harder than the later floors due to having better weapons on later floors, while being almost defenceless in early floors.
Meanwhile I just sit on a tree be a wimp and bomb everything Not only on the 4th I also do that at the 1st 2nd 4th 5th and on the 9th I just shot a bunch of arrows in bullet time

I was doing so well until I reached the silver lizalfos room... failing there honestly made me not want to try it again but it's the only thing in the game left for me to do 😭
Thank you a million times for the 10th Floor strategy. It worked perfectly. For the other floors, well, I couldn't even manage to walk on the branch in the 1st floor.

It still took me a hell of a long time and I lost a couple hearts in my final run through but your video got me through it! Thank you for the upload. I've come back many times, but today I finally did it. I had four hears, but started with full arrays of yellow temporary hearts and 30 minutes of attack buff. By the time I got to the last floor, all my temp hearts and attack buff are gone, and I accidentally squandered my ancient arrows, so I had to fight the silver lynel to the end. Didn't think I could make it, but here I am. I've learned more combat skills from this video than any other. It has been a great journey. Thank you.
@svasva161620 This is the most impressive BOTW video I’ve ever seen. I watched it dozens of times, I downloaded it, I used several tricks from it in the trial and outside of it. The silver Lizalfos trick is just incredible ; I still cannot do it most of the time. I keep watching the video very often just for fun. Bravo!
Lots of practice. After that much practice, you memorize everything and learn all sorts of tricks. Some people were upset that he didn't pick up some of the good gear. It's because he didn't need it. He ran it so much, he knew exactly what he needs to make the run most efficient. We're just filthy casuals compared to him.
I love you so much, I followed everything you did in mid trials and I lost hope on the shooting the lantern because it swung and as i shot the rope, it did not blow up anything and I toughed it out with arrows and continued, you made middle a breeze for me. Now for hard!
Beginner: Not sure, but a lot. Would've been more if I hadn't watched online videos to learn tricks and stuff. Middle: Second try. Died on that dark room with Bokoblins and Fire Wizzrobe. Didn't realize one of the Bokoblins was silver. Final: First try. 9 ancient arrows=all real threats gone.
Is that normal or master mode tho? Because on normal I didn't die at all on beginner or middle and only once on final (I forgot how to Lynel; should have just used ancient arrow anyway)
After watching this I did my first attempt on master mode and beat it thanks to you, you made it surprisingly easy for me , I was expecting me to take quite a few trys but guess I'm better than I thought lol
Man I can't believe that sneak attack trick with the lizalfos on level 10 works. Do they have the memory of a goldfish? Or does turning around wipe the hard drive for lizards in Hyrule?
Without that superstrike technique, that lizalfo room might be impossible. I saw another video where a guy used the lightning rod to freeze one then had to switch weapons, hit him three times instead of 4 to not knock the lizalfo off, the switch back to the rod. I couldn’t do it; had to master the sneak attack. I finally get past that room then the hinox sits on me. 😂

Thanks. After IDK 3 years of owning the game some 18mo since 'completing Normal Mode otherwise, & 3/4 way through a MM play, I used your video as a template to complete the FINAL trials in NormalMode. I had already completed Beginning & Middle long ago, but after the middle's, I was like 'Eff This!' who needs it! lol But this gave me the knowledge & some good technique / tricks to get'r done. Only died once in the Final's, made it through in my 2nd attempt. 'Course I took ~4 hours to complete these 24 levels, & I didn't take NO damage, but ... it's done & I was never in real mortal danger only got 'into moderate trouble' 2-3x's but was able to improvise. One wrinkle was in NM those Royal Clamores you were picking up weren't available. I opted to fight a the stalker walkers that you used AA's on but it's a good thing because later I had 2 'misses' on AA's that could have really messed the attempt up. I'm still not so sure I'm up for it all in MM, but knowing this video is out here means it's POSSIBLE I'll break down & try it.
Learned so much from the first trial. I was hard stuck for like 4 hours until I switched to this godly guide and followed it to the letter and beat it first try, so exhilarating!! Tysm!!🎉
I love how later on in the trial, you just dump a ton of weapons in a pile because you're not going to need them and they are a pain to sort through. Totally bad ass.

Finally finished the final trial using this guide!! Had 4 hearts and 3 stamina wheel. 5 durian and 40 min attavk buff helped. I finished around 40 mins. Thank you for posting this video

I finally managed to get past the 3 lizalfos room with this video. The chaining of sneak attacks are surprisingly easy to perform. Now let's hope I survive the rest of the floors.
I died at the next floor because I was rushing too much. Next try I completed the beginner trials :) I had 1 minute left on the 30 minute timer.
Sneak attack everything, stasis everything only get 6 attacks per flurry Rush so YOU DONT KNOCK THE FREAKING LIZALFOS INTO THE WATER WHERE THE HEAL AND LIVE FOREVER!

Oh this guy knows... I fucking HATED IT when they fell in the water, cause all you can do is bomb them. So the game is in this Death Match, who can shoot faster? Me throwing bombs, or them spitting water? The result is my dead corpse... FML!!!!
They come out the water if you simply run forward to the big scaffold with the hole in the middle. There are multiple places where they can leap on, and if they can't hit you they will.
I managed to kill ONLY ONE Silver Lizalfos by using bombs, the other one killed me.

After thirteen hours, I finally beat Master Mode EX Sword Trial last night. Thank you so much for this video--emulating your genius is what got me through the beginning and middle trials.
4:04 just repeatedly headshoting that moblin when he couldn't see literally any part of it? well now that's just ridiculous.

The health bar more or less tells you where the head is, so headshots are actually pretty easy against moblins at close combat. The strongest bow plus x3 attack allows you to kill them with just 4 arrows. I've seen people killing them with bombs and that's far more dangerous. I've seen many times how the bombs ricochet of moblins and you detonate them just to see how the huge radius of them sends you flying across the room.

At least in those trials you get armour and Ancient Arrows to use on Lynels.

Suprebob Toast I missed the last Lynel with 2 ancient arrows. Luckily I had 3 when I started that room. I swear to god he dodged me. The first one I undershot then the second I shot at him at blank-point and he dodged! My heart started racing. I thought for sure I was fucked! Hands sweaty, arms spaghetti I managed to hit him with the last one.
NOPE! Beginner trials are the bane of my existence!
Beginners Trials are the hardest I find, there what drive off the most players
I completed the trials last night, I freaked out when I realized I didn't pick up the blizzard rod but I ended up not needing it. Killed the Lynel with the ancient arrow and ran straight to the guardian on top of the tower and destroyed it then took care of the bokoblins while gliding. Thanks for this man! it helped me a lot.

This was a great refresher, I did a normal mode trial blind and a master mode set last year and just came back to the game; I used this vid when I was stuck on master mode then and I used it again to get through it this time. I'm glad the final trial isn't crushingly hard because the beginner trial on master is totally fucked; not only the one room where it's like "shoot the lizalfos scout in the head or lose" but the rooms with multiple black bokoblins where your best weapon is pretty much a bomb.
I did them with 3 hearts both times, basically as soon as I could pull the sword out and then trading my hearts back for a full stamina wheel, and it was pretty intense. Middle and final trials were both first tries then and now, but the beginner trial, even knowing what to do, was still a pain in the ass. The beginner one I finished with just my bare health remaining after starting with 20 yellow hearts and the final I finished with 8 yellow hearts and 5 fairies and didn't use one once.
That said the middle and final trials felt challenging, tense but fun. Where the beginner one was just teeth grittingly frustrating, one error and you're running around flinging bombs again. Anyways, thanks for the video.

Or on the rare occasion that I DO manage to kill the 2 Black Bokoblins, I get nailed by the Moblin with the spear in Room 5 >_< all TWO times I've got that far X_X Of course *I* don't use freaking food buffs. Because, you know, I thought the point of that kind of challenge was that you DON'T take anything with you.

IronSpider521 - random vids Maybe in Master Mode, but in vanilla, I think two is the easiest, while one is moderately difficult, and three is the most challenging. One does have the Lizalfos room, but that's about all it has.
Don't worry, I felt like the first levels in the beginning and middle trials are harder than the later floors due to having better weapons on later floors, while being almost defenceless in early floors.

For the other floors, well, I couldn't even manage to walk on the branch in the 1st floor.
I would have to give props to this man. His strategy allowed me to complete this in Master Mode. Still I got handed down a few times, but I still knew what to do. Thanks a lot for the strategy :)

I had four hears, but started with full arrays of yellow temporary hearts and 30 minutes of attack buff.
By the time I got to the last floor, all my temp hearts and attack buff are gone, and I accidentally squandered my ancient arrows, so I had to fight the silver lynel to the end. Didn't think I could make it, but here I am.
I've learned more combat skills from this video than any other. It has been a great journey. Thank you.

Lots of practice. After that much practice, you memorize everything and learn all sorts of tricks. Some people were upset that he didn't pick up some of the good gear. It's because he didn't need it. He ran it so much, he knew exactly what he needs to make the run most efficient. We're just filthy casuals compared to him.
I love you so much, I followed everything you did in mid trials and I lost hope on the shooting the lantern because it swung and as i shot the rope, it did not blow up anything and I toughed it out with arrows and continued, you made middle a breeze for me. Now for hard!

Beginner: Not sure, but a lot. Would've been more if I hadn't watched online videos to learn tricks and stuff. Middle: Second try. Died on that dark room with Bokoblins and Fire Wizzrobe. Didn't realize one of the Bokoblins was silver. Final: First try. 9 ancient arrows=all real threats gone.

Man I can't believe that sneak attack trick with the lizalfos on level 10 works. Do they have the memory of a goldfish? Or does turning around wipe the hard drive for lizards in Hyrule?

Without that superstrike technique, that lizalfo room might be impossible. I saw another video where a guy used the lightning rod to freeze one then had to switch weapons, hit him three times instead of 4 to not knock the lizalfo off, the switch back to the rod. I couldn’t do it; had to master the sneak attack. I finally get past that room then the hinox sits on me. 😂

Yo this just made me sit down and contemplate how much I suck at BotW
Thanks. After IDK 3 years of owning the game some 18mo since 'completing Normal Mode otherwise, & 3/4 way through a MM play, I used your video as a template to complete the FINAL trials in NormalMode. I had already completed Beginning & Middle long ago, but after the middle's, I was like 'Eff This!' who needs it! lol But this gave me the knowledge & some good technique / tricks to get'r done. Only died once in the Final's, made it through in my 2nd attempt. 'Course I took ~4 hours to complete these 24 levels, & I didn't take NO damage, but ... it's done & I was never in real mortal danger only got 'into moderate trouble' 2-3x's but was able to improvise. One wrinkle was in NM those Royal Clamores you were picking up weren't available. I opted to fight a the stalker walkers that you used AA's on but it's a good thing because later I had 2 'misses' on AA's that could have really messed the attempt up.
I'm still not so sure I'm up for it all in MM, but knowing this video is out here means it's POSSIBLE I'll break down & try it.
And yet I’m still so triggered how many food and weapons skipped even with good tier ones. This guy is really savage af

It drives me crazy how he doesn't grab some good weapons. My looting OCD is going haywire watching this. Just grab it, you have enough space for it!
because i played like speedrun as i said. getting them takes more time, having a lot of weapons is annoying.
You don't carry any weapons you find out if the trials. He only takes essentials also in order to trim down the tone of the run.

Finally finished the final trial using this guide!! Had 4 hearts and 3 stamina wheel. 5 durian and 40 min attavk buff helped. I finished around 40 mins. Thank you for posting this video
