I just watched your video about your BT50, very nice investment. If I may suggest one upgrade that is the best insurance for protection of your transmission is a scan guage. Towing the weights which you are increases transmission oil temperatures far above ideal levels causing premature degradation the hydraulic fluid. It's a cheap easy upgrade. I did one trip with mine and upon return had a transmission cooler installed resulting in a huge reduction in transmission temperatures to a totally acceptable level even when working the dmax hard.

@@empty_nestadventures thanks mate, my wife and I are looking at eventually doing some touring ourselves. We not long ago purchased our 2021 Dmax and all we need now is a caravan which as you no doubtedly already know it doesn't happen overnight, but we will get there in the end..... It's all about staying positive 👍😀👍
