    Thanks for posting. A lot of cool stuff to check out. I probably would have mostly ignored the update otherwise, haha. Get well soon!

    Good luck and continued healing. Spouse had retinal detachment. Has healed. Was really difficult to do the face down during initial rehab. Glad you are doing well.

    Bud, so glad to hear you are recovering. A minor question. I have an old routine that turns on our master bedroom closet light when I enter the closet. It's worked well but now I cannot find the routine for editing anywhere in the routine list! The routine works but I can't find it to edit it. Any thoughts? thanks

    • @BudsSmartHome
      @BudsSmartHome  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would suggest that you scroll to the bottom of your routines tab and tap on your "Smart Lighting" app in the "SmartApps" section, assuming it appears there. You may have set this up as a smart lighting automation. Other than that, I would suggest checking any connected 3rd party apps like Alexa or SharpTools.

    Is this a secured update?

    • @BudsSmartHome
      @BudsSmartHome  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m not sure what you mean by a “secured update”. This is the Oct 2024 update that can be accessed via the SmartThings app within the menu tab under “Notices”.

    Thank you do much for an informativ video. Good that you eyes are better. I have a question i have som trouble to Get my door sensors to show Update IN Home monitor. Its AGARA and driver is coming up as a matter sensor… do you have any idea?

    • @BudsSmartHome
      @BudsSmartHome  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Kenneth, If the Aqara sensor is connected as a Matter sensor, then you likely purchased the Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2's sensor model number DW-S02E. If the sensor looks like the one here: amzn.to/4fgjawa then you have a Matter sensor.

    Do I need the dongle to control my Samsung refrigerator hub? I can’t monitor my fridge or add pics anymore from the app

    • @BudsSmartHome
      @BudsSmartHome  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      According to a quick search on Google… “If you can't monitor your Samsung refrigerator hub or add pictures from the SmartThings app, you likely do need the SmartThings Hub Dongle to fully control your fridge, especially if you want to connect other Zigbee-compatible smart devices to it; the dongle acts as a hub to expand your smart home connectivity beyond just Wi-Fi devices. Newer Family Hub models might have built-in Smart Hub functionality, but for older models or to access full functionality, the dongle is usually necessary.” Prior to purchasing the dongle, I would recommend that you try restarting both your phone and refrigerator. If the issue persists, reach out to Samsung customer service for further assistance.

    I own an aqara m3 hub, how do I bridge Smartthings and the m3 hub together so I can utilize all the features with aqara devices?

    • @BudsSmartHome
      @BudsSmartHome  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't use an Aqara hub. I can pair most Aqara devices directly to SmartThings without their hub. This eliminates the need for cloud integration and is more secure. If you are referring to Matter devices you can just generate and share a matter code between the two hubs.
      Here is a discussion on Reddit that you may want to look at: www.reddit.com/r/Aqara/comments/1c17hbp/aqara_hub_advice_smartthings_m2_and_m3/
