Great explanation guys about QTCs work. The WAE DX is a real fun contest especially if you invest a little time learning how to send/receive QTCs. One of my favourite contests each year having, done it from inside Europe (G) and outside Europe (ZC4). Lots of variables in play with the off-times for single ops and Strategies for handling the QTCs. My problem - it often clashes with the wedding anniversary. Poor forward planning on my part...
Great episode! The QTC concept from this contest is completely new to me. Really appreciate the discussion on strategy, etc. TU Contest Crew! 73 de N4AAJ
Thanks, I've got my head around the QTC concept and how to work with n1mm+ but now the struggle is QSOs outside Europe . never had this restriction before in a world wide contest so I will have to work on receiving outside Europe.
Kevin - nice to see someone demonstrate how to send QTC’s with n1mm, the most popular contest logging program. Important to send the QTC s because your score is maximized from sending them.
From VK this is definitely my favorite contest of the year. EU doesn't work EU (what a relief for DX stations!) we only SEND QTC's (very easy), EU's are pointing our way (not common in most major contests as they normally point to NA and JA/Asia) and because we only have prop to EU about half of the day we get SLEEP! A great event and my favorite of the year. Steve VJ3A / VK3JA

I've never worked WAE. Will give it a try (phone). Thanks for taking the time to explain the intricacies. But I still love WPX!

I have always liked the WAE. Modern loggers make QTCs easy. De N4KH
