The guy looks handsome and very young without a beard. Hard to believe they let him in a bar 14 years ago. The wife's weird reaction was filled with insecurity and a shock. People often laugh when they get nervous or shocked to cover they real reactions.
Every time she said 'you look so young', she was probably thinking ' I must look so old next to him right now'

Im convinced now that when a beard covers a mans face it stops the aging process of the face. Science is a wonderful thing.
Beards acts as a protection against the negative effects of the sun. So you're actually right, it slows the aging of the skin by quite a bit :)

When my son started growing his facial hair, I commented on how nice he looked and how I liked the multicolor in his beard (some red, blond, but mostly brown). When he commented 6 months later about how he didn't have any razors, I bought him what he needed and he showed up clean-shaven for our next lunch outing. Great looking either way! It's really how the guy feels about himself (in his confidence level) that makes him look good.

My husband took off his mustache & I laughed for half an hour. He looked so different. When your wife laughed I laughed with her. Because I know! Oh that was funny! Loved it. My husband grew it back I’m so glad! He looks much better. All I can say is thank God U have those beautiful blue eyes. Glad your growing it back. Praying all goes well at the Doctors. God bless U! 😊

I trimmed off everything as a spontaneous thing today and I have spent the entire day hating myself for it. While I am filled with regret I have developed a renewed appreciation for all my facial hair that I had started to trivialise lately, I love my face with beard and I can't wait for it to grow back.

Yeah it was an impressive feat of discipline to grow it out that long. But he looks 10x better without it. It looked unkempt and anyway he has good skin (no major acne or scars) and good face shape.

A lot depends on how fast your beard grows as in thick heavy growth that covers a lot of your face/neck, or light growth that covers less face/neck. I know Guys that get away with shaving just about once a week and look tidy and others that could shave in the morning and look untidy near enough by late afternoon. Skin conditions also a factor.I absolutely hate shaving and prefer a beard,(nothing to do with being lazy),my wife hates beards,so I go with a beard in autumn/winter no beard in the spring/summer.Go with what works with you and what you feel comfortable with.

Before I was born my mom and dad went to visit my grandmother for a weekend. One morning my dad decided to shave his beard, which he already had when he met my mom, and he came out of the bathroom, said hi to my mom and grandmother, and walked into the kitchen.

These types of videos are always fun! Thanks for the smiles!! It does sort of confirm my hunch that beards are most suitable for guys who either don't like their face or can't handle letting others see it. :) Of course I have no scientific backing for that theory since bearded faces are probably the most natural look... In the mean time I guess I'll keep shaving, although usually only once or twice a week.
When my always bearded husband did this, I felt overwhelmingly shy. It was very odd because he looked so different and young.

When I started to grow a beard my ex-wife started to laugh at me and it really hurt because her opinion is really all that mattered to me. Women at times can be hurtful and mean like they would be to each other but it does effect us men differently and so much deeper then women realize.

Grow it back bud. I did that same thing cause I had to get fit tested for a N95 mask for work(hospital). I hated it too. Now its back and I feel much better.

every once in a while i'll shave my beard off just to have that straight razor feeling. then i go into a shaving phase, use the beard soap in the bowl with a hot towel on my face, but i've always had a beard. if i ever have a job where i have to shave, i'll always go the old fashioned barber way. also it's rare for people that do beard channels to shave off their beards, respect
